This is my final Version. I chose to stick with the blue cape as to represent both the African Pygmy Kingfisher, AND it was also claimed that the Ancient greek naval army wore mostly blue.  I brought the horizon line higher and dimmed out Cleon’s soldiers in the background. I kept the pose as it didnt feel right for him to be upright if he was in a full-charging motion and that you can better see the line of action in this kneeled down pose. I also changed his helmet to resemble more of a Pygmy Kingfisher skull. The bird in the background represents freedom, and the “Giant” wave circling over the main character symbolises that that is the threat looming over him. I positioned this shot with Cleon’s spear spearing into the water as that is what is aim is, and it is also another reference on Kingfishers spearing into the water to hunt for food. I have has alot of militations with trying to both show the character, his environment, and what he is so threatened of. I needed to show Cleon’s face AND show what he is charging towards aswell. i feel like this might be the only shot that may show both. i also needed to show a beach from a low angle so i could show the wave towering over Cleon and his men, and i also needed to show cleon’s army that he commands, but not take the attention away from the character we are following.

This is my second attempt at my concept art, this isnt what i hope the final piece would look like, i was planning for fine-line art and i did not add shadows to this yet. I will only work on this further if its well received by most people compared to my first attempt.

I've made little updates to my previous design. Though i plan on actually making a new one soon. I added new elements to the shot to prove Cleon is tiny. apparently not everyone understood what the white “Stones” were on the beach, they were dead coral, it was to both represent his size, and to represent that he is standing tall among the dead on the beach, as i can't really show the other soldiers that he commands, and i can't really show them dead either, i thought the dead coral would be the closest thing to represent it without the traditional typical makeshift tombstones. I took the advice and added sea shells to prove his size, and i made the shells a bit colorful just to decorate the dull looking beach. I was also told to make a scene of a close up and a far-away shot to show that close up what he is seeing is very grand and deadly, but from afar it's just a typical wave washing up on the shore. I've tried to incorporate this, but i feel like it would be easier in a one-page comic strip than in concept art. When this is finally animated, i will definitely show the difference of the scale and intensity in the world with that trick as well for the sake of comedy. Also, i read up that Roman soldiers that went out in sea mostly wore blue instead of the red we see so much in pop-culture, but in addition to the fact that the romans did not exactly have a uniformed armour set, gives me slight flexibility on what he is wearing and his color. red does look better in this shot, but i want to try and make it work with blue somehow. maybe with this particular shot with the blue wave behind him with the blue outfit doesn't look good. but yeah, this is all just experiments

This is what i tried to work on throughout the week, i was experimenting with different types of faced for my ill-fated spartan commander. i was told that my initial design of Cleon’s neutral face made him look dumb, though i was trying to go towards a calmer respectable face that can easily turn into a madman by simply frowning, and designed the face to make it look like his eyebrows and facial hair paint out an X on his face that symbolizes his mental state. But i still worked on other designs. I also added 2 particular facial expressions, fear and anger, as they are the two main emotions i was Cleon to express. 2) was a design i thought up of when looking at someone wear a Imperial-Gallic Helmet. its pretty simple, and hiding half the eye might give him charm, or might hide half his facial expression. 3) was more of a heroic look. a more good looking general wearing a  ridge helmet which is more recognisable in modern iterations of roman helmets. 4) Is one i actually personally liked, tried to make him look greek with curly black hair, it's also what i would say the closest thing to the initial design. this definitely has a heroic look and it would be and it would be fun experimenting how he would go mad from being trapped on an island. 5) was just a design i made making him big and beefy, and it was at this time i had a thought in making him a dwarf to further push the fact that not only is he one inch tall, he is physically short too among his own people. 6) was my way of trying to incorporate Don Quixote’s likeliness into the design. i don't really like the outcome. 7) Yes i was inspired from Tintin. Maybe a little too much, i can't exactly remember fully, but i remembered watching an episode when i was a kid where the cast get stuck on a deserted island and Captain Haddock started losing his mind. but i'm not likely going to follow through with this design. Lastly i thought up of a few changes to my initial design of Cleon. I gave his cloak feathers of a African Pygmy Kingfisher to add some flair, and i made him a dwarf to make the character both more unique (As we don't see many dwarf spartans) and it further implies the fact that he is pygmy sized in a massive over exaggeration, not only is he one inch tall, but also his stature also is affected.  All these are just ideas i had over the week, but i'm more than happy to stick with my initial design, or just change him slightly.

My first concept art of Cleon (That's what i decided to name him) This scene shows Cleon showing anger towards the fictional god of the ocean he blames for trapping him on an island, and with the beak of a kingfisher and riding on a domesticated Jerboa, he is about to spear into the ocean as a declaration of war to the god of the ocean. The ocean is towering over the main character as it looms from afar, this gives the threatening appearance the sea poses on Cleon, but looking at the other items around him, and the animal he is riding, its clear that the wave only seems this big and dangerous because Cleon is actually very tiny. he is about only twice the height of the dead coral washed up on shore.
I portrayed the ocean like a wall surrounding Cleon as symbolism for Cleon’s mind as he thinks the ocean is imprisoning him from freedom, the outside world, and it's very quickly crashing down on him which also resembles the the impending doom cleon will face both physically and mentally.
I decided to give him the color scheme of a African Pygmy Kingfisher, the orange beak for his shield/spear, and the blue for his uniform. I was debating if i should give him a red uniform as its what most people associate spartans would wear, but in my research, i realised that there is no hard proof that the romans wore red specifically as a uniform color. other colors has been proven to be used and often used whatever armor they could afford for their service, so a uniform set of armor and color might not have been a thing in that time, but it is a debatable topic. using this, i also realised that typically, Blue was also worn by roman soldiers who traveled by sea, which fits PERfECTLY with the blue i wanted to give him because of the color scheme of the African Pygmy Kingfisher. I may make a version of this in red just to test the waters if red looks better (Get the joke?) I tried thinking of other shot angles, hut i wanted the shot to include his face so we see him, include the beach, and include the waves and this shot was to me the best way i could portray all these attributes. even though he isn't facing the ocean, he is screaming at the sky, which is where his true anger is directed, at the fictional gods he believes put him on this island. I wanted to add his other soldiers he is commanding in the shot too, but i am aware that i am only supposed to animate one character, so i just left it as Cleon (And maybe part of the character model itself the jerboa is part of the character model, if not he’ll just run instead)

This is my final attempts at this character before i go to sleep. I gave him a more rugged look, he has been marooned on an island for countless days with only one uniform. i wont expect his uniform to be well maintained over the struggling weeks. I eventually did give him hands and feet but only as simple shapes. it felt a bit empty where his limbs just dangled. I also made the horse haired crest on its hempet uneven to reflect his uneven mentality. That it was once straight, now its crooked. i feel like this part of the character might be the hardest to implement, as in 3D im not sure if i will be able to make his crest sway, or if it will all be one solid object. I am aware of the software limitations i may have. I gave him a very simple box-like face at a neutral position, that would have represented that he is naturally a very calm and straightforward person. and without the beard his entire face is mostly spherical from a front view. Naturally he would have been a trusted commander with a pragmatic sensibility, but maybe due to being trapped on the island, or his dire need to get his crew to safety, his mentality took a turn and adopted quite a visionary, and unrealistic mindset. The angry face i five him shows a very discomforting distortion to his face as it almost looks like a giant X on his face with his thick eyebrows and his overgrown moustache squeeze into his nose. This would indicate that something isnt right with him currently.  As i am writing this, i realised i haven't thought of a name for him yet. i should research Greek/Roman names and come back to it. And as an additional note, i would really love for him to ride a domesticated small rodent into battle. i just love this concept, it would be hilarious and take a bit of edge off the serious mental breakdown of this character. but if that is too much, i can make do with him using his own legs to run.

I started taking a very serious approach to this character. initially i planned on this character to have very simple features such as being a small ball or with stubby arms and legs, and i did not want to over-exert myself with an overly ambitious project i keep giving myself. But in the end i felt like a worn out old man marooned on an island is the best direction at the moment.  To address my previous fears about overly-exerting myself, i made his limbs very simple so i wont need too much detail in them. i tried to focus the details on his Spear, his face, and his chest. I remember one of my design being turned down because he did not look “Heroic” so that was another factor why i moved away from a overly toon-ish design to a more human figure. To address the scale issue, one way i've put as part of the character design is that because he has been marooned on the island for so long, he might have scavanges some materials on the island that he can use with his tiny size. And what better way to give a tiny man something to remind us that he is tiny is that he uses the beak of a dead pygmy kingfisher as his makeshift spear for his campaign against the ocean. I sat down to think about how practical a beak like that would be as both a spear and a shield, and I thought of a few good applications of it. initially i thought he would have a stick inside and put his hand in the nostril to hold the spear, then i thought that only the dagger tip of the spear was the beak, then i decided that he only uses the top half of the beak and holds the stick from the underside of the beak, using the tip of the beak as a spear, and the top side of the beak as a shield. I really like how this somehow both fits in with the marooned design, the tiny design, and again for the 3rd or 4th time i managed to wedge in another aspect of a Pygmy Kingfisher in the design of my character. I'm slowly turning a liking to this character.

I made one more attempt to see where my mind goes when i just draw without worrying too much about the end-product. unfortunately i did not get anything fruitful from this page. I was advised to move away from the eye-popping out expressions as i keep stating before that i want to stray away from making a crazy character, but drawing characters with over-expressive faces was just so much fun. So now after this page i sat down and thought hard what a marooned Roman Military commander would look like. And how to show that such a character is as small as i claim.

The “Pygmy” in Pygmy Kingfisher
In Anthropology the word Pygmy refers to a certain african ethnic group in the Congo Basin who are able to be categorized as generally short with the average adult height of 5 feet, 1 inch. Some Ethnic groups in south east asia are also categorized as “Pygmy” as well. The origins of the word Pygmy derives from  Greek πυγμαῖος pygmaios via Latin Pygmaei (sing. Pygmaeus), derived from πυγμή, which simply means First or a measure of length corresponding to the distance between the elbow and knuckles. There is a lot i can say about Pygmy civilisation and culture, but i really like the fact that the word Pygmy used for both Humans and Animals generally means small, which i can work with. I believe i can make my character part of the Pygmy definition as being small, but i would like to over exaggerate it by making him/them really small and make them of greek origin as Pygmy originated from a Greek word. Pygmy soldiers designed by, and spears into water, like Pygmy Kingfishers is a great link i could have made between the words i was given.

I have narrowed down the backstory of the character i want to work on, i planned on having a tempered general leading an army fighting for liberation and freedom, with an unrealistic, unreasonable, quixotic personality. My idea for the character as per now is going to be a military commander of an army marooned on an island with a small troop surrounded with crashing waves. Due to the pure frustration or possibly the heat of the island getting to him, he has developed a form of madness and unreasonable fabrications and believes the ocean is sentient and wont allow them to leave the island. He preaches freedom to his troops and orders his men to charge towards the ocean with spears to attack the ocean in a glorious speech, and his men (undecided if they are obeying him because of rank, fear, or agreement) charges with spears to attack the ocean.
i implemented the Pygmy kingfisher design as both part of its armour (If you notice i've modified some of their standard armours to make it better look like a kingfisher in shape) and as how a kingfisher catches fish. a Kingfisher catches fish by spearing into the water, though i cant make any character do the exact same as a kingfisher without giving it wings, i've been told to stray away from making an actual bird, so i decided to reflect a kingfisher’s hunting style to a character with a spear spearing into the ocean. its a comedic comparison i’d love to implement and i feel like the link i made between the Pygmy kingfisher hunting style and soldiers spearing into the ocean quite fitting.
I plan on having these soldiers being about the size of a small rodent which would make such mundane beach waves seem like a treacherous battlefield for these small soldiers. If i am permitted to, i would love to have these tiny soldiers manage to domesticate the native rodent life on this island and use them to ride into battle. I could make both the soldiers and the animal they ride on as one single character design as if i model them, i’ll model the soldier and its ride as one character, making it 2 or 4 legs for the rodent, and 4 other limbs for the soldier riding it and make it as one character design. This is a little ambitious, but i'm also willing to lose its mount altogether if its too difficult or its against the brief. The design i currently like the most is the absolute top design as i feel like it would be simple enough to model if i plan on giving it a rodent to ride on, and if i make this a 3D character i would like to focus on exaggerating its facial expressions seen in many of the other designs i made. Despite the many times i said i wanted to stray away from making a character seem crazy, a heavily animated facial expression would easily describe the madness in the mind of the character. His troops can still respect him as a charismatic leader and follow him into battle, despite his state of mind. Additionally, i do believe that we are supposed to make one character only, but if the situation permits me, i would love to make his 5 or so troops he commands as well, they would all be somewhat identical but what seperates them is the color scheme going for them. The leader would have the vibrant color scheme of the African Pygmy kingfisher, but the others will be given the color of the Madagascan or the American kingfisher. this would make the commander stand out significantly compared to his troops. But however, if i am not allowed to add in different colored clones of the main character to form his team, i believe i should be able to make him some lone survivor going mad and striving for freedom against the relentless ocean. but i personally would love the chance to be ambitious and create a team of them riding towards an ocean on rodentback. These ideas may change overtime.

Iterations
Tumblr media
This is my second page where i thought i was going to make a character inspired on Don Quixote. this isn't any final design at all but i really felt a man on a quixotic mission while riding a fake horse is hilarious and would have made an interesting character.  My idea for this character was for him to protect his small hamlet from the threat of an alien invasion that he completely made up and justifying his outlandish beliefs with paranoia over the introduction of the industrial revolution claiming its the work of aliens. This character design died off as i wasnt really able to link the Pygmy Kingfisher and the “As Free as a bird” into this character design, but i still love this idea. Reminds me of a few scenes from Monty Python and the Holy Grail. but in the wild west of america instead of Medieval Britain.

Iterations
Tumblr media
This was my first round of iterations. this was just me just doodling thinking of quixotic personalities, though when i drew this i only had a loose understanding of the word Quixotic. i haven't yet tried to add the animal i was given to the design yet, but i tried a range of character types. Not many of these had much of thought behind them, but the character on the bottom left was my attempt in trying to make a quirky scientist with outlandish ideas, the creature above it was a monstrosity i wish i just erased, tried to give it a kingfisher skull, but ive seemed to make so many characters in the past wearing skulls so i want to avoid that this time. the character next to the top left character was an attempt to re-create a version of Don Quixote, it was rather uninspired and unoriginal so i ditched it fast. The character next to that, the middle character was based mostly off Dr Robotnic from the sonic series as i can see alot of a quirky quixotic personality from such an animated personality, and i recently watched the Sonic movie so that might have been a factor in attempting this. The character over the shoulder is scrapable, so is the character next to the Dr-eggman type character on the bottom right. The character at the top is when i started to think of many real-life quixotic characters and tried to make a character with a quixotic mind, but will be a respectable character. Knowing the story of Caligula and how he ordered his men to attack the ocean, i decided to merge him with another character from a show called Attack on Titan “Erwin Smith”. throughout the show he is highly regarded and well respected by the characters in the show and everyone watching the show, but you can't deny that he makes a lot of risky moves and makes non-pragmatic decisions risking the life of all of his scouts. Though all of his scouts joined his army to fight for freedom from the walls and man-eating giants, he has a personal goal to prove his father’s theory right with very little to support his statement apart from resentment. He let so many of his scouts die a horrible death for his personal endeavours, but fortunately he truly does grieve the loss of every soldier that died for his “Selfish” cause. A complicated character as Erwin Smith that will make impractical risks over his flawed mindset that is respected (possibly forcefully) by his followers sounds like an interesting character to work on.

“As free as a bird”
I was given the word “As free as a bird” which usually means free from worries and troubles, But as i was thinking of trying to apply this phrase to a character, the only types of personalities i can think of are very aloof types and characters who dont have anything to worry about, which doesn't really mix well with the word i was give “Quixotic” which means overvisionary, unrealistic, and impractical, for a character to have the mindset of a quixotic person would indicate that they are striving for something, and to be given a phrase that would also indicate that the character has no worries seemed to me quite a bit of a contradiction. Only one idea came to mind was someone of a certain religious faith not giving a care in the world, believing his/her deity will save them in a gracious fashion as complete chaos envelops around him/her in some sort of apocalyptic event. But if i did that my character would be more “Nonchalant” than Quixotic.. so i tried for another approach to the word. I tried looking at any songs or movies that has the phrase “As free as a bird” and i came across a beatles song called “free as a Bird”  https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ODIvONHPqpk and another song from Supertramp with the same title https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7eXxanfQdD0 unfortunately, after trying to listen to the songs to get inspired or looking at its lyrics, i could not get any additional inspirations from the songs themselves, but i am happy to revisit these songs at any time. Then i tried to take a different approach to this phrase which instead of taking the phrase for the character to already achieve as part of its personality, i tried to use this phrase as a goal and ambition for the character i create. The strife to be as free as a bird. Initially i thought of a scientist trying to create a set of wings from scrap to free him from confinement, or maybe adapting the greek story of icarus. Both were good ideas, but i took a break reflected on 2 different types of freedom. Physical freedom, that related to be physically free, such as liberation, and another type of freedom called mental freedom that links well to the initial meaning of the phrase “As free as a bird”. the type of mindset that allows a character to br free of being barred by others and peace of mind. which can trace back to the meaning of Quixotic, as the character is mentally free from reality and practicality to think and believe whatever outlandish beliefs they may hold on to, alot like Don Quixote mentioned below. I believe as of today, i have decided to have my character cling on the strife to achieve physical freedom, but be in a position where he/she is able to think freely without being barred or restricted by others. One great position for this type of character is to be a military commander fighting for liberation against a threat fabricated or overly exaggerated by the character, his mind is free from reality but strifes for freedom himself. i really hope this doesnt stray too far away from the phrase “As free as a bird”

Quixotic (origins)
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Don Quixote
I've done some research in the origins of the word Quixotic and it came from a Spanish book published in 1612 called “Don Quixote” (Pronounced Don Kee-Ho-Tay which is very different to how we say Quixotic). This book is actually the Best-selling novels of all time, but because it was published so long ago, it is impossible to accurately record how many books have actually been sold and its believed to have sold 500-million copies of a single book. But many organisations don't recognise this statistic as it is very hard to prove the numbers, which has left this book to be rather obscure in recent times.  Don Quixote is a fictional book about a man who has read so many fictional chivalry books that he eventually believed everything he read as fact and decided to take on an antique suit of armor and set out on his own adventure. But unfortunately, he has a very deluded and comical mindset and his visionary fictional beliefs are believed to be reality. The most famous of his exploits is he attempted to charge on horseback with a with a spear to attack a windmill thinking it was a Giant. Other misadventures include traveling to an inn and believing the innkeeper is a lord to a kingdom and insisted on being ceremoniously knighted, attacking a group of merchants believeing they were fellow knights, spending 4 days to name his horse, announced a random farm maiden from his hometown as his beloved, despite not knowing her name and giving her a self-appointed name, Attacking a barber thinking his washing bowl was a fancy hat that he needed to have, and many more. The people of his hometown attempted to stop his delusional endeavours by burning his books, which seemed to have strengthened his beliefs, and they tried to get a man to dress up as a damsel in distress to lure him into coming back home. In my early stages of thinking of a character i wanted to base my character off Don Quixote as using a character that was the direct origin of the word would have been great, and making a character of a similar mindset, like having a character in the wild-west playing a vigilante to protect his town from what he believes are aliens or some sort. But over time i have strayed away from this as i want to create a character who is less inclined in being seen as borderline crazy. i may decide to come back to this idea if my iteration process turns back to this direction.

Quixotic
Tumblr media
The word i was given to research on is the word Quixotic, and initially i had no idea what the word meant, but after reading up on the word, realising it meant Extremely Idealistic, Unrealistic, and Impractical (As well as chivilous), i knew i was about to make a really fun character in terms of its ideology. With the word given, i have a very free range of creating many characters with outrageous, overambitious, and unrealistic views, of all sorts. Many Character tropes came to mind as i was researching this word. Such as: - A man who believes the earth is flat and tries to build a home-made rocket to prove his theory. A story based on Mike Hughes AKA “Mad Mike” a 64 year old man who died in his own experimental rocket to fly himself out of earth’s atmosphere to prove the earth was flat. Unfortunately, he was ill-fated and his rocket spiraled and crashed in his test in California.  - An Ancient Roman General that waged war on Poseidon, the Roman God of the Ocean, and ordered his men to attack the ocean by the shore. This was based of Caligula a notorious Roman Emperor that was known for so many horrible and outrageous acts in his short time in power and even before he was in power, but one that stands out as both hilarious and “Quixotic” was when Caligula ordered his men to attack the Sea in a way to wage war on the God of the Ocean.  - A Crazy Scientist/Inventor that creates very impractical inventions that all probably have very niche applications. There are many cartoon characters that fit this description such as Dr Doofenshmirtz from Phineas and Ferb, Miu Irma from Danganrompa 3, Dr Freeze from the Batman Comics, and countless other examples. I actually dont plan on working on this idea at the moment as its a very stereotypical trope that we see over and over again. And additionally, its very easy to mistake the word “Quixotic” and “Crazy” in the same line, where many Quixotic personalities in real life and in history are actually respected by many for their visionary and out-of-the-box way of thinking. As much as this would be an easy trope to fall back on, i wanted to make something different. - A Sensible person who has experienced something personal that drives them to have a mindset and goal that OTHERS will consider Quixotic. Another thing about the word Quixotic is that often when we call a character Quixotic, we are only viewing them from such a narrow and personal perspective. Due to the lack of perspective, the viewset and actions made by certain character will be seen as “Unrealistic”, “Impractical” and “Over-Visionary” but in the eyes of the character taking out the mindset, because of their experience no one else has experienced, it has been an absolute necessity in their eyes and believe they are preforming the greater good. In their Perspective too.. I have a few examples of this that come from the same Show of Attack on Titan (Shingeki No Kyojin). The content i am about to share may be Spoilers for those who haven't read the books yet, so proceed with caution. Eren Jaeger and Zeke Jaeger are two examples from this show that show very Quixotic personalities as they both try to solve this war and social hatred for their race. From Chapter 91 onwards, The Half-Brothers Eren and Zeke Jaeger team up to end this war that has lasted thousands of years and free the Eldian race. Eldians are a small race of people who can unwillingly be turned into giant mindless man-eating humanoids due to an ancestral curse. From Zeke Jaeger perspective the very act of an Eldian being born is a sin as all it does is create more suffering to the Eldian itself being forced to be a victim of what their race is rumored to have commited thousands of years ago. Zeke has worked under his enemies as a war-chief to eradicate his own kind, the Eldian Race. But Zeke himself follow’s through on this plan, not because he agree’s that all Eldians must die, but he see’s no possible way to achieve peace. But having not be born into this word would relieve them of their suffering. Though to our mindset this is absolutely horrible, But because of his knowledge, he knows that his kind are used as weapons by their enemy, turning Eldians into Mindless Giants to wreak havoc to their enemy’s military and towards Eldians themselves. Zeke’s plan is to use the curse of his ancestors to (Magically?) stop every person of Eldian Ancestry to be unable to have children. The Gene that creates these monsters, in his viewset, needs to end to create a peaceful future for all. Eren Jaeger, The main character of the show, on the other hand, Though he does agree on teaming up with his Half-Brother Zeke, he lies and deceives everyone to perpetuate his own goal in liberating Eldia. Eren See’s the beauty in his people and believed they deserve to be liberated from the war forced upon his race for thousands of years. Though he does agree with Zeke that due to the nature of Eldian’s biology the fear of Eldians will never end, He instead uses Zeke’s plan and position to create a structure and vows to use the curse of his ancestors, and use the giants to massacre the rest of the world. Eren would use this to finally free his people from any form of oppression ever again from the cruel world they are fed to.  Though both of these characters both seem drastically horrible, but due to the situation they are in and what they personally have experienced their extremely visionary and Outrageous ideas seem to be the only solution to peace in their minds as a more democratic and civilised method in solving this war over the Eldian race has failed to cease for thousands of years and with the rise of Technology, something needs to be done immediately to either protect the Eldian race from extinction, or save them from this cruel world. The book has yet to be completed as per today, but it's theorised that none of their plan succeeds. and a third and more beneficial solution will present itself. - A man who uses a chivilous and charming personality to hide his Quixotic and devious goals. This example actually comes from a character in my own book i am attempting to publish if i ever get around finishing the book. I initially didnt know the word Quixotic while i was writing this character but the word seems to fit so well with his personality. Jupiter, a character from my book is a character who is an incredibly unrealistic visionary who uses his charm and chivilous personality get get himself on the right side of a war to eventually achieve a goal he knows no one will accept. He lies and manipulates others with a cheesy smile on his face and preaching trust. Throughout the story the main cast are forced to work with him despite knowing he has a plan he does not wish to share, but his obsession to protect the main character and even suffering bodily dismemberment to protect his side of the war helped him gain trust over time. Even though he actually does mean well and does plan on helping everyone overall, even both sides to this war, when his motive was revealed, it was inevitably him versus the world in a race against time to stop him from achieving his goal. I plan on creating a character in a very similar fashion to Jupiter would create my own personal flair to the character as i have swelled deeply in the psychology of Jupiter and his personality. I understand why Jupiter does anything from the back of my head and designing a character with a similar personality. of course i wont have the luxury of giving my new character alot to say and show alot of backstory if any at all, but im sure i will be able to think of something short and a design that will mix well with the Pygmy Kingfisher and the phrase “As Free As A Bird”
