✦ instantly frowning as soon as he hears this supposed-joke. riddle is someone who hardly finds a reason to laugh when people underestimate themselves - even though you genuinely think that you are right, shouldn’t you at least be respectful of yourself ? to say such sad things with a bright expression in public, no less! why do you humiliate yourself in front of others, do you wish them to have a negative image of you as well ? he is quite familiar with these feelings - the thought of not doing good or enough, he knows it’s hard; he knows how people tend to put themselves down but he is aware too, of how everyone remain ignorant of their own strength.

✦ he sees your smile and hears your laugh but honestly, he doesn’t know how to react. do you really believe what you just said or did you say it to mess with him ? are you really amused by what your words or are you just hiding some of your doubts ? he doesn’t know, so he just sighs. he avoids direct answers in fear of hurting you and ask-order you to study with him as soon as possible. he isn’t sure if it will really changes something, but he won’t accept to just sit there without trying anything : maybe he can compliment you here and there, or maybe he can help you where you struggle.

✦ if you admit you think poorly of yourself, he will be more than ever determined : he won’t shower you with meaningless sweet nothings, he wants to compliment you when he really means it so he proposes that you both work together to help you. if he learns, however, you didn’t mean what you said; he will be flabbergasted. and will frown, again - it’s quite stupid to say such things. and he doesn’t know why you say those jokes if nothing is true but somehow, he feels reassured. he isn’t the only one to see how great you are, and that’s for the better.

✦ at first, he doesn’t really pay attention to your jokes. just like ‘tch’ or ‘like’, it could just be a verbal tic and honestly, he, himself sometimes uses some self-deprecating jokes when he talks. so does he really mind when you let some slip out of your mouth ? not really - at least, not before his dorm leader irritatedly comments about it. Ace only lets out a short “uh?” when the short red-haired boy asks him why you say such things, and it is only right then he realises how often you put yourself down.

✦ it’s not like he’s known to be the smartest student out there, nor is he seen as someone particularly tactful. as much as he wants to help you and makes you drop this habit, he isn’t particularly sure how to do it. he even start to doubt himself in fear to mess everything up - because if you really see yourself as poorly as you imply, he wants to help you. but is he even able to do it ? he might need deuce’s help to snap out of his dark thoughts and activally start to support you. (“you’re dumb.” bluntly said the other. “so don’t force yourself to help like dorm leader would do, just be yourself. help just like you would do, it should be more than enough.”) and as soon as he feel pumped up, he literally stick at your side and doesn’t leave you : do you have some time ? lets eat! wanna do homework together ? he doesn’t know what to say, so he just try to make you focus on him.

✦ if his dorm leader is right and you truly doubt yourself, he will try harder than before. he doesn’t have to subtly help you, he can just downright invite you and keep your thought out of the black daze known as “lack of confidence”. the change wouldn’t be as subtle though, if he tried to be somewhat discreet before, he can appear oppressing at some point. and he might feel hurt if you comment on his overwhelming presence, but don’t worry! he won’t feel down just by a remark, and with his positivity, you can say bye-bye to this nasty habit. don’t forget to thank him though, he does have the same issue as you and will feel happy to know he helped you. though, if he learns nothing of this was true and you didn’t meanwhat you said, he would feel reassured and disturbed - as he started doubting himself when he wished to help you, with no one to help, he’s just left alone with his insecurities.

✦ pretty much like his previous ginger dorm mate, he wouldn’t immediately notice how often you put yourself down. it’s not like he says self-deprecating jokes but seeing how often he sticks with ace, it’s somewhat understandable that he doesn’t comment on this habit. wasn’t it just a way to talk ? you weren’t the only one, and if needed, you wouldn’t hesitate to talk to him right ? he’s not as dense though, so after some time, he would without a doubt notice how often you criticise yourself. if at the beginning he just frowns and remains silent, after sometimes he would just directly ask you : why do you say such things ?

✦ on the contrary of the two first heartslabyul student, he believes asking you instead of making assumptions is better - he trusts you to honestly tell him if you need his support. if you answer by saying how you didn’t mean anything you said, he would just absentmindedly nod and continue his work. he wouldn’t bother you by asking to stop his habit but he won’t pay any mind anymore. however, if you do reveal how self-conscious you feel about some part of yourself, he wouldn’t hide how surprised he feels. it’s not like he was completely ignorant but he just hoped he would be wrong - so he just ends up stuttering some compliments. the thing is - it seems so unnatural that you merely pay attention to what he says and brush him off by briefly thanking him.

✦ he’s clearly not used to compliment people; he hardly can contain his flustered expression when he lets out a positive remarks and that’s probably why you didn’t believe him. but he doesn’t give up, and as much as he cussed himself for messing up, he continues complimenting you when he can. running into each other in the hallways ? he will throw some sweet compliments in your face before rushing to his next class. it leaves you sceptic at first, yet, he still doesn’t give up and as time pass feel more and more confortable when complimenting. he, who at the beginning couldn’t bring himself to look in your eyes, now accompanied his kind words with a smile and nod of approval. the more he complimented, the more he noticed thing about you - how lovable you are for exemple, but it’s probably the only compliment he won’t say to you.

✦ as much as you see him with his phone, he unexpectedly pays attention to your words. he doesn’t make a big fuss when he first hears your self-deprecating jokes nor does he ignore them - in fact, he responds with the same ligh tone you used. “nooo! what are you saying again?” or “do your eyes fail to capture your beauty, do you need me to take a photo to help you ?” - he swiftly averts your attention on the cheesy replies he throw your way without prying. he’s patient enough; he content himself by simply spending time with you. he won’t ask anything, he knows you will tell him yourself if you need his support and he won’t hesitate to help you if you ask.

✦ because he won’t do anything unless you explicitly tell him your struggles, there isn’t any ‘if you don’t mean what you said’ scenario. it’s either you struggle and ask him, or you don’t and you both keep joking around. though, in the latter case, he might lightly snaps and asks you to stop such jokes; after some time, that is. and seeing how patient he is, it might be in a very long time or if he’s particularly pissed off. he might even joke by copying yours too, as a way to make you stop; everything in a light and friendly athmosphere!

✦ he’s probably the most creative one to help you with your self-confidence! he probably invites you to spend a lot more time with him, organise activities such as knitting or cooking even though he may or may not never have done this before. at the end of these activities, he will always end your time together by taking pictures of your works and posting them with some funny and sweet comment below. what’s important for him is that you feel confortable with your positive and negative aspects, he sincerely believes it is what makes ‘you’, the one he loves dearly. do note he doesn’t stop his cheesy replies when you continue your self-deprecating jokes, but with time, those jokes are more used to troll him than anything else.

✦ as chill and dumb he appears to be, trey remains someone particularly observant. it’s easy to forget, but the green-haired student is a third year and the dorm leader’s aid - so as an observant one with some ‘experience’ ( as he likes to say when teasing ace. ) and who’s used to handling responsabilities, there is no way he is able to miss your strange tendency to put yourself down. but it’s not like his statut as your senior can force you to stop degrading yourself, and he knows better than mindlessly butt in other’s business. so in lieu of actively trying to improve your self-esteem, he just tries to spend time as much as possible with you - do you need help with homework ? he’s always willing to study with you! are you hungry? no worries, he can cook for you ! he secretly hopes that, by showing how reliable he’s, you will automatically look for him if you need help.

✦ just like cater, he’s waiting for you to do the first step : it’s either you want to talk to him and maybe improve your self-esteem or you feel perfectly fine and keep your habit to criticise yourself. honestly, no matter what you do, he will always be there with you - of course he likes you. a lot even, so this tendency won’t makes him run away ( well duh. ). but as the heartslabyul mom, he’s ready for the worst case : he just hopes that your joking habit doesn’t hide some self-loathe thought.

✦ if you do admit to have some negative thoughts about yourself, he will pretty much do the same as cater. meaning; do his best to do as much activities with you as possible - it’s not a matter of showing you how skilled you are at dancing or cooking ( even if he would enjoy it very much. ) : he wishes you to accept that it’s okay to not be perfect, to have difficulties in certain situations and that it’s not something definitive. he will probably organise some cooking dates or painting ones; and if you dare to speak lowly of yourself when you two are together, he will pinch your cheeks so hard that you won’t be able to speak anymore.

Imagine...

...Epel inviting you to an apple orchard. He was unsure whether or not doing this was a good idea but he went along with it in the end. He was so happy to see that (y/n) accepted his proposal and he couldn't wait to spend the day with them. Epel had located a small orchard near the school and the duo headed off there, baskets in hand.

The sun was right in the centre of the sky as the hot rays of the sunlight cascaded down on to the apple trees, illuminating the heavenly red fruit. (y/n) and Epel got to work immediately but never once did they feel tired. They were quite the team and they were sure that they had collected so much that they could feed an entire army.

They made fun of each other, chased one another around, and they even played in the dirt for a little bit. Throught the field their laughter and shouts of joy filled the air as they played tag, their fun never ending.

The day however, went by far too soon.

The sun had set long ago and the moon was bearly visible on the horizon. The pair looked at each other and then at themselves and only then did they realize just how messy they both were. Dirtied clothes, red cheeks and ruined shirts, no amount of preparation could prepare them from Vil's complains. Epel usually didn't really like to bring so much attention to himself, but now he just did not care. Let Vil do his worst, he'd do it again if it meant that he could spend one more afternoon with (y/n) like this.

The two left the orchard behind, their hands entwined as they promised one another to do this again one day.

Epel couldn't have been happier.

Loud chatters filled the room.

Students huddled in groups chattering to their friends; wearing their lab gowns and gloves, as some of them had their safety goggles hanging on their necks or on their heads, they happily chattered along s their instructor still hasn’t arrived.

[Name], the infamous magicless student, and the only girl within NRC busied herself reading her notes that she made with the some help from the Heartslabyul dorm leader.

Her brows scrunched together as she read everything word by word, taking things into mind— every term and meaning, [Name] tried to remember it. Grim on the other hand had to whine just to peel off your attention from your notes.

“I’m sorry about that Grim— what is it that you were saying?” a small smile formed on her lips as she rubbed the back of her head, giving her partner in crime an apologetic look.

Grim huffed and crossed his arms. “What are you reading?” he asked huffing once more. “That thing that you’re reading is keeping you preoccupied from listening to the great me!”

Epel would be utterly surprised at your prowess with a bow. He thinks that you might’ve struck a cord within his heart as soon as your arrow hit the target. Did Rook taught you that or did you pick up archery yourself?

Maybe he should take lessons with you - archery may be a sport for poise and grace, but the way you perfectly execute a bullseye with such a cool stance motivated him. He’ll learn the sport with you out of his own will, not by Vil’s standards.

Should Vil say something about this, he’ll be very embarrassed and say that you motivated him to do it. He’ll find himself practicing diligently with you, struggling to get those darn arrows in the bullseye. Poor boi would slip some curses here and there if he is not getting to that darn target. But, all of his work would pay off after hours and hours of practice.

At times, Rook would butt in to give Epel advice on how to fix his posture. He comments on how Epel is slowly becoming a refined character with the way he carries himself when he is at the bow. He’ll drag Vil to watch Epel do his first bulleye you. Of course, you’d have to be in attendance because Epel wants to showcase his masculine side to you and Vil.

ℜ𝔦𝔡𝔡𝔩𝔢 ℜ𝔬𝔰𝔢𝔥𝔢𝔞𝔯𝔱𝔰

Riddle is impressed by your show of skill in archery. He is intrigued by your profound skill in this particular sport, and the way of the bow. The dorm leader might’ve picked the skill at some point in his past as a side for his mother, but he has gone rusty.

Seeing you diligently practice your skill brought back a sort of revival for him. Riddle would ask you about the minute details you’d invested in perfecting the skill and watch you practice from time to time. Every time you hit a bull’s eye, he can practically feel the arrow strike something other than the target.

From what he could tell about archery, there was more than just the fundamentals: the way you had to stretch your shoulders back, the steady hand, and just concentration. If anything, the aim was significant as well.

Riddle might not be good at archery, but he’ll certainly admire your way of the bow. He’d compliment on how refined you look as you steady the bow. The calm and quiet surroundings for your practice would even calm him down too, yet he would even feel the tension in the atmosphere as you aim for the target.

You do archery? How cool! Kalim would definitely love seeing you practice archery whenever you have time for it. He’d see you in a different light: your regality in an archery uniform and the cool-headed expression you have as you aim for the target.

With his hands on his cheeks and a look of excitement at his face, he can’t help but be amazed by your skills! After you’ve hit the bullseye, he is just blown away. “Can you teach me? Can you teach me?” He’ll give you a puppy look as you wrap up your equipment.. You eventually caved in, teaching him the basics.

Kalim would smile through his frustrations and at times would practice by himself before showing off to you the next time you practice. If archery isn’t for him, he’ll just watch you go arrow after arrow, a love stricken sigh slipping his lips.

At times, he’d even provide your necessities: food, water, energy drinks, anything that may be significant to your health. Kalim would support you in your journey if you’re doing competitive archery and just hype you up in any way he can.

𝔏𝔦𝔩𝔦𝔞 𝔙𝔞𝔫𝔯𝔬𝔲𝔤𝔢

How interesting. The fairy does acknowledge the fact humans partake in a variety of sports since the beginning of time. He is curious on your skill in archery and would observe you during your practices.

The fairy does appreciate the calm nature of the sport, depsite the rough and rowdy ventures he has seen and witness over time. The second he sees you release the arrow from the bow, he can feel the thin whistle of the bow and the thwack of its landing. “Very good..” Lilia would clap politely, seeing it a beautiful spectacle.

He may take an interest in the sport, but he’d prefer watching you execute the sport. You seem to have the richer experience of archery than he does and so he’ll leave it to you to give him a show. He truly loves how accurate your arrows land in the target, nearing the bullseye. It was as if you’re aiming for his heart.

Yet, your prowress as an archer and your personality alone has charmed him enough. The fairy would take this as another aspect to your character and embrace accordingly. Besides, humans boost a number of ways of attracting their partner.

Ortho would be so bubbly and innocent over your skill. Can you show him more? It is so cool! He already knows that you may be skilled in hand-eye coordination from just this sport alone.

If you’re doing competitive archery, the baby boi would scan you for your health conditions and see if you need anything for nutrition. He might go overboard with you, since he has been used to taking care of his older brother but if you need anything, please let him know!

From time to time when he is not busy with his Big Brother, he’ll watch you practice. You look so cool just stretching in your archery uniform and working so diligently with the bow. If he is being too loud, he’ll be quiet for you to concentrate and just enjoy the view.

After you make the shot, he’ll clap and cheering you on! Keep up the good work! Ortho would also check on your precision from the target and be impressive on how close you are to the bulleye. If anything, he is just so impressed by your skills!

hello!! everyone writes yandere!twst, so I want to ask for a yandere!reader with leona, ruggie, vil, rook and azul. I'm thinking of general yandere characteristics but you can go into detail about the types of yandere the reader is in each of them! headcanons about how they would deal with a yandere (gender neutral) s/o, thank you in advance :)

this is an interesting twist from my usual yandere requests! also this turned a little darker than i expected, so i’m placing them under the cut! hope you enjoy!

content warning: toxic behavior/relationships

Leona will be hard darling to catch. He’s strong, so it’ll be hard to try to force anything head-on. He’s also pretty influential, being royalty, so trying to outsmart him will also be extremely difficult.

Your best bet? Use Cheka! Befriend the little lion, be his best friend, and make sure you gain his nephew’s trust. It won’t be too difficult, as Cheka happens to be rather easily trusting and Leona won’t ever be opposed to someone else playing babysitter in his stead.

Once you’ve befriended Cheka, you’ll have to kidnap the little boy and make sure only Leona knows. Leona will do everything: threaten, bribe, and sob. He can’t really do anything, because you hold Cheka’s life in your hands. And if anything happened to Cheka, it would be Leona’s fault.

So using Cheka, you can successfully corner Leona into a relationship. If you ever feel like Leona’s growing rebellious, a few threats under your breath and a glance towards his nephew will quickly put the Savanclaw dorm leader in his place.

Male hyenas are submissive by nature, so if you want Ruggie? You have to show who’s boss. Intimidate him, tease him, and play around with Ruggie. Once he recognizes that you’re above him as far as power dynamics go, he really won’t be able to rebel.

But don’t mistake dominance for being mean! Ruggie’s a darling that’s easy to catch but that doesn’t mean you can just abandon him! If you really want to make things work, you’ll have to pamper him while showing that you’re the dominant one in the relationship.

As long as you treat him well, Ruggie will be happy with you. He knows that you’re above him, but you treat him nicely. He has no incentive to run away from you, and he knows running away will mean nothing but trouble.

Things will probably turn into a behavior-reward/punsihment thing with him. Good behavior means cuddles and donuts; bad behavior means collars and scoldings. It won’t take much to keep him in his place!

Like Leona, ensnaring Vil is going to be hard. Unless you’re born looking like you just walked out of a Vogue magazine, it’s going to be hard to even get a crumb of Vil’s attention. So if you can’t win him over with ungodly beauty? Do the opposite!

You’ll have to act like the most helpless potato ever. There’s no way Vil won’t take pity on you and try to reform you when you’re so awful and wanting to change. He’ll be condescending, and it may look like he’s in charge, but patience always pays off!

Get him to trust you bit by bit. Let him doll you up and call you hopeless. Play up your vulnerabilities, and gain his trust little by little. There’s no way someone as weak and plain as you would be dangerous, right?

When Vil lets his guard down, that’s when you strike. His whole strength, his whole life, his whole purpose it built upon his beauty, so to have you bring that down? He’ll crumble like ash, and that’s when you can swoop right in and steal him away.

Being a submissive yandere is probably your best bet. Rook is an odd man in more ways than one, and he seems very diffcult to tie down. Letting him take the reins will be the way to go with him.

The best way to keep him at your side? Cry a little. Nothing will make this dramatic man melt faster than a dramatic show. How could he refuse you, when your normally sparkling eyes are stained with tears? Just a few sniffles and some watering eyes will be much more effective than chains and collars with him.

You’ll also have to let him have some form of freedom. He’s as slippery as a snake, and trying to hold him down will make him rebel even more. It’s best to let him have relations with other students and let him frolic around a little.

If he’s getting a little bit too out of control? Play the victim! Cry about how he’s being unfaithful or being a bad boyfriend to some of your friends, and you’ll have him cornered. There’s no way you, with such innocent eyes, could be harboring anything bad in your heart!

The most obvious way to making Azul yours is by overpowering him physically. Azul is smart, and he’s incredibly skilled at staying a step or two in front of everyone. A battle of wits will typically not end well, so you’ll have to get your way with force.

And to do that? You’ll have to befriend the ones closest to him! Even Azul will have to throw in the towel if the Leech twins gang up on him, so buddying up to Jade and Floyd will definitely reap you great rewards.

It won’t be too difficult to gain Floyd’s friendship, but Jade will be your biggest challenge. Just show him some interest about the things he loves, and you should be able to make fast friends this way!

Next course of action? Get rejected by Azul and go running off in “tears” to the twins. How dare he reject someone as sweet and as nice as you, their dearest friend? You can just sit back and relax as the eel boys take care of everything else from there on out.

Will be jealous. He had to work his way up to everything. Studying all day and night,perfecting both academic and magical prowess but sacrificing his time to make friends and enjoy life away from his mother’s stiffling presence. Then a random person comes around, with a devil-may-care attitude who makes a mess in the entrance ceremony, causes trouble wherever they go and is always doing something stupid with their friends and manages to surpass him? What? He wants that! He wants that too! He wants to play and have fun! He wants to have more friends! But if he does then his studies will go down. Why does MC get what they want when they didn’t sacrifice anything like he did? Why does MC have it all?

Vil:

He’ll be infuriated. Beauty takes effort and even a person born beautiful need to work to keep their beauty. So why is MC so effortly flawless? Why is the person who barged in unceremoniously during the first day of school immediately deemed the new fairest one of all? They don’t follow a strict diet and exercise, eating whatever food they want, preferring deep fried ones and sugary sweets paired with equally saccharine carbohydrated drinks. They don’t put skin screams on but they don’t get sunburned and always smell nice. Their hands are soft despite working labor intensive jobs for the headmaster. They didn’t take effort to improve their beauty, be it physically or even anything akin to beauty. They’re not artistic. They’re not athletic. But why is everyone falling for MC? Why does he feel bitter when he sees MC?

Leona:

What the actual fuc–?! How can this little herbivore who was just dangling on a broom a week ago defeat him at Magical shift? Why? Isn’t it enough that that lizard humiliated him yearly but now another one comes along. Someone with no title. No prestige. No nothing. Comes along and makes him go from being second place to third place? But MC didn’t even practice as hard as he did! MC didn’t do anything but fly around silly but then MC beats him at his own game. No only that, MC is well respected. Well loved. They’ve been here for only a few weeks and suddenly they get everything Leona never had. Love and affection by those around him. Leona is bitter. Jealous to a fault.

It surprises him that someone would quite literally appear out of nowhere and prove that they had stronger magic that he does in NRC. But honestly. Malleus doesn’t care about that. What he’s jealous of is how effortlessly you make friends with everyone. Both of you have strong intimidating magic, so why doesn’t anyone run from you like they run away from him? Why do people approach you? Invite you over to tea parties and lunch when you and him have strong magical auras. Why are you more approachable? Malleus is envious.

Yay! Ok so how would dorm leaders react to having a crush on mc who when arriving to the college, turns out, can only speak french? Later on cruel gives her a potion so she can understand them and, when speaking french they understand her but the potion wears off after awhile and when that happens she runs to the chem lab to make another and avoids everyone till shes back, Perhaps getting a lil jealous on how close rook and her are?

Let’s see.. Hmmmm 🤔

Since this is a question I’ll give you a short answer.

Since Rook speaks French, I’m gonna assume the language existed in TW. But given that Rook has a title (Vice dorm leader) and is interested in MC from the get go, I’m quite sure they’ll immediately hit it off and be close friends!

Now for the dorm leader’s reaction.

Riddle: Would’ve probably forced to study languages by his mother during his younger years. So he’ll be able to converse with MC whether or not they drink the potion. He likes conversing with her in French to complain about their unruly friends or just talk about things they like. Tbh, he doesn’t notice that MC drank the potion until he sees others flocking by MC’s side.

Leona: Is from Afterglow Savannah like Rook, but the place is large so there’s a lot of languages. Probably taught French as a child cuz he’s a Prince but skipped classes. Can understand MC and likes to tease them lazily in French. Will probs gets more Jealous when MC drinks potion, cuz MC will talk to more people. He wants the attention back to him.

Azul: Does not know French. But will definitely study it for MC. It took a while for him tbh. He maybe smart but its hard to study a new language. Jealous when MC is with Rook or anyone who could speak to them in their native tongue. Will be glad when Crewel makes a potion. If it runs out, no need to ask Crewel for more, Azul will brew it up for her. (Easier and quicker than studying French)

Kalim: He doesn’t understand MC but he’s all for friendship with new people! He’d use his gestures to convey his feelings and when MC can somehow speak TW’s language he’s ecstatic! The two will talk for hours to an end. When the potion runs out and MC avoids him, he’ll be very hurt. Will ask one of MC’s friend if they’re OK and will probably approach Rook.

Vil: Vil can converse with MC fluently cuz he learned from Rook or cuz he has many modelling job in French speaking areas so he studied it . No need for potions and whatnot. If MC drinks the potion from Crewel, Vil will know the difference especially when people converse more with her. When the potion runs out, it’s fine for Vil since he can still talk to her, and tbh he liked it better that way. If Vil and MC are close enough,and he sees them distressed not to be able to speak with others, he’ll either help brew th potion or teach her their language.

Idia: Idia will probably make a language translator for her immediately,no need for the potion. But it’ll take some time so he’ll be jealous when you spend more of your time with Rook as he tries to hurriedly make the translator. If you drink the potion before the device is finished, he’d be glad to able to finally understand you,but a lil scared of what you think of him. By the time the potion runs out he’d finish the device so no need to hide from him.

Malleus : I’m gonna assume fae have extensive knowledge of languages since they live long lives. And Malleus has lived far longer than her. So when they first meet and he converses with her in french, she’d be ecstatic! He likes seeing her looking forward to their nightly meet ups. When she drinks the potion from Crewel, Malleus can’t really tell that she did cuz he understands her just fine. Will be jealous tho when she talks about her friends and how she speaks with others now. When the potion runs out Malleus would be there to comfort the MC Until Crewel makes a new batch.

Trey Clover knew that his s/o is known as “a trickster”, as they were fondly called by Rook, since they had the skills to outsmart Leona and even Azul. But he knew they’d only use their cleverness and trickery for important purposes.

But this… This definitely takes the cake. He knew he should’ve suspected something when you borrowed his kitchen and won’t let him in… And now…

You were giggling at his perplexed reaction to the bottle-shaped cake you presented him on a platter.

“See! I didn’t forget.. Haha.. Wait.. Lemme just–!” You couldn’t stop laughing at your own joke, arms clutching your stomach as you struggled to breathe. “ I didn’t… Hahaha! WAIT. Stop looking at me like that! haha.. LET ME FINISH!” You exclaimed, throwing your hands up when he wasn’t saying anything, too busy laughing at your own joke.

He watched amused as you threw your head back laughing, thinking yourself clever for making a cake designed with fondant to resemble a bottle of oyster sauce to get back at him.

“You! Haha! AHH–!” You leaned back to much, your chair toppled backwards.“OOF!”

And now it was his turn to laugh,standing up to assist you as you giggled at the whole situation.

You grabbed the hand he offered, your hair disheveled. “ Atleast I didn’t forget the oyster sauce.” You winked, earning him a chuckle. “ The secret recipee!” And then you were laughing again, stepping on your own foot which made you trip, dragging Trey down too.

He chuckled at your expression. “You forgot another secret Ingredient, though.”

You furrowed your eyebrows cutely. “What?”

He leaned in and gave you a quick peck on the forehead,loving the way you looked at him in shock, face turning a beautiful shade of red. “Love.”

Boy is a smooth criminal and I can’t put into words how much I love him.

Deuce Spade was someone so earnestly honest and lovable, you couldn’t fathom to think he was such a delinquent when he was younger.

Between him, Ace, Grim, only he went through his promise to help you with cleaning the ramshackle dorm’s lawn, volunteering to pick out the weeds and cut the grass so you could start your own vegetable garden.

Looking over him, you saw his face heavy with concentration, picking the weeds off by hand. He looked so cute focusing on his tasks, with his eyebrows furrowed and a determined look on his face, you didn’t know if you should tell him you have garden sheers.

“Y/N is it fine if we move these flowers instead of cutting them?” He asked, approaching your side of the lawn. Tilting your head in confusion, as you were sure there were no flowers growing in front of the dorm, you followed where he was pointing towards

Oh.

Chuckling to yourself, much to his confusion, you began to move to the plot of land. “Deuce, those are weeds.”

“Huh?” He took a step back, taken aback, his mouth a jar and a look of disbelief on his face. “ But… But!”

You crouched down, picking the stem the yellow flower. “ Dandelions are weeds, Deuce.” You giggled.

He frowned, looking heart broken, his brows knitting together as he looked at the flower on your hand. “ Oh. Well…They were pretty, though.” He said under his breath, his face flushing in embarassment, painted in a light blush.

Adorable!

You couldn’t help yourself but giggle some more, much to his chagrin, as he began to crouch down and continue his work while mumbling to himself.

He looked positively upset while plucking off the “flowers”, as he focused not to harm a petal.

Taking this temporary distraction as an opportunity, you couldn’t help but smile, picking up the flowers he discarded on the side, your fingers working fast.

“Y/N I’m done–what?!” As soon as he turned to his head towards yours, you quickly dropped the crown of dandelions on his head, startling him so much he felt on his bum, one hand securing the object on his head to not fall. “ Y/N what is this?”

He inquired, taking it towards his peripheral. “Ah….”

Realising what the object was, his pale complexion was painted with pink as his hands began jittery.

“Now you’re pretty too!” You exclaimed, taking the crown from his hand to put it back on his head.

Slowly, his eyes widened at your exclamation, slowly turning redder before he bowed his head to say a cute “Thank you.”

Your face mimicked him as you heard his voice, warmth climbing to your cheeks.

Then he stood up and promptly removed the crown to put it on yours. “Now you’re pretty too!” He exclaimed childishly, laughing at the incredulous look on your face when he mimicked your words.

Oh, Deuce

You couldn’t help yourself and jumped on him, making you two fall on the mound of newly cut grass.

“Y/N what?!” He cried out, surprised as you began peppering his face with kisses. One the forehead. The cheeks. The nose. And the

“Stop!” A palm stopped your lips from meeting his. Looking down on him, you could see how he bit his lip as his eyes tried not to look at you. “ Let… Let me!”

You smirked, taking his palm and turning it to give the back of his hand a smooch.

“Y/N!” he called out, looking absolutely adorable,you could swear if you had an ear and a tail it’d be wagging.

You gave him a quick peck on the lips.

“Sorry, I can’t help myself.” You winked at him, as you pulled him into a hug. Shakily, he hugged back, and you two basked in each others warmth.

Then Grim and Ace came from nowhere with a camera and teased you both relentlessly.

Can this be considered a drabble when it’s 500 words long? Idk, I just love Deuce ♠
