Honestly, Icewing as the next RiverClan leader seems like the most likely option to me at this point.

She's said to be the best at leading patrols

She's shown that she can compromise and work together with others even when they're from a different clan, which is something Frostpaw is looking for in the next leader

Sunbeam even thinks to herself in book 3 about how she's sure whatever Icewing said would be worth listening to

She showed genuine compassion and concern for Frostpaw's situation when the stress of finding a leader was put on her shoulders

She's a senior warrior so she has tons of experience

She finally got her first on-screen apprentice this arc

And due to events in the fifth book she's one of three cats in RiverClan who Frostpaw considers to be true RiverClan warriors

Even if Icewing doesn't end up as leader, I think she'll still end up as deputy. It just seems like it'll be a waste if Icewing doesn't end this arc in a position of power.

As for Duskfur, my guess is she'll retire soon. In book four it's specifically pointed out by Sunbeam that Duskfur is (apparently) an elder now, in stark contrast to how Frostpaw specifically said in book three that Icewing wasn't elder age yet.  Even just looking at that exact conversation, Sunbeam’s first guess as to who’s been appointed to get RiverClan organized is Icewing, and then she is immediately surprised when Finchlight tells her it’s Duskfur, asking “But she's an elder now, isn't she?”  Implying that Duskfur is probably too old to be considered for leader while Icewing isn’t (somehow).

I’m really hoping Mothwing survives next book and doesn’t die.  I know there are people that think she’s gonna be the next leader but I highly doubt it.  The biggest pieces of evidence for Mothwing specifically becoming the next leader are a dream that’s been completely discredited at this point and a line that was first said by Splashtail of all people.
