I started reading Hawkwing’s Journey and I’m only on chapter 2 when they dropped that Hawkwing and Pebbleshine are COUSINS??? Like could the Erins put one little of iota of effort into trying to avoid incest PLEASE???

#skyclan should be the easiest clan to avoid this since almost none of them started out related!!! #but no they have to be the children of the two very notable siblings #tw incest

Arc 9 Reveal - Changing Skies

According to information posted to Barnes & Nobel's website, the 9th arc of Warriors will be titled Changing Skies. No news on the first book's name yet, however.

Coming January 2025.

What’s your plan, Bluestar??? Keep this full grown cat an apprentice forever? It is painfully clear that the Erins completely forgot about this poor cat until they needed someone to tragically die. Swiftpaw deserved so much better. He should have been made a warrior ten thousand years before Fireheart brought it up to Bluestar. Both Longtail and Swiftpaw had every right to be bitter.

sex ed in the warrior cats universe must be abysmal considering how often the she-cats are surprised to find out they’re pregnant and how leafpool got away with giving birth to three kittens without anybody noticing. and was able to pass them off to squirrelflight without anyone questioning how she never gained any weight

boiling hot take but i literally dont give a fuck that mapleshade let the clan believe her kits were birchfaces. her clanmates can be mad but exiling a queen and her kits is fucking deranged i dont care what lie she told. “she deserved what she got” her kids deserved to die because their mom fibbed??😭 her kids deserved to die because their mom did crimes LATER???😭😭 “um but she chose to cross the river” if i was orpheus i would simply not turn around.

one thing that always makes me go :rolls eyes: w/ mapleshades characterization in omen of the stars is that the erin hunter team tried soooooooooooooooo hard to make mapleshade like relevant and important to the plot/main characters like why did she want to kill sandstorm of all cats............sandstorm doesnt fucking know her...............we missed the chance for hawkfrost v mothwing or bluestar v thistleclaw in the last hope and got that instead

it always burns me up inside how the erin hunter team took a rly interesting side character like cinderpelt and made her entire personality and character post the new prophecy being “i was in love w firestar but he never knew :/“ like thanks erins im so glad the character who had to learn how to be a medicine cat + healed bluestar and saved thunderclan countless times as the sole medicine cat in the span of like three months in the first arc had all of that diminished because of some stupid unrequited love. or whatever.

ever since i was little i knew i wanted to defend sunningrocks
