I wish that Thor Ragnarok never happened. Not so much because I didn't like how Loki was portrayed there, but because it split the Loki fandom in 2. Both the pro-Ragnarok and anti-Ragnarok fans are very very passionate in their opinions (which is understandable since pre-Ragnarok and post-Ragnarok Loki are quite different and if you like one version it can be hard to accept the other one) and it seems there is no middle ground. So now if I want to talk to a Loki fan I first must check to which half they belong so I know what I can say and what I should avoid if I don't want to start arguing with them. Which I usually don't. The fact that there are 2 different versions of Loki also makes it hard to be exited about the series. Depending on which way Disney decides to go with it one half of the fandom is probably going to be disappointed. I am a fan since Avengers 1 but only came to the SM and fandom after Ragnarok so I can only imagine how beautiful it was back in 2013 when all the fans were on the same page and enjoying Loki together without fighting over which version is better and dreading what happens next.
