Blindness by  missingJane Summary:  Going 'way back to the first season of The Mentalist, I loved the Bloodshot episode. I thought there was a lot of room in that episode to further explore how Jane's sudden blindness affected him. We only saw his brave front in front of Lisbon and Cho for a short time in the hospital. Here is my attempt to fill in more details of that difficult time for him in the hospital.

Blue Frog by  JosieStyle Summary:  Jane was doing a wonderful job investegating a murder, but then something happened. Jane is rushed to the hospital, leaving the team very concerned about his status. Because... there was no cure from getting poisoned from a frog like that. (story set when the old team was still together)

Bagheera and the Little Prince by  Idan Summary:  Tag to Bloodshot, 1x16. How did Lisbon and Jane get from Van Pelt's wrecked car to the couch scene the next morning? In my mind, the path ran through a hospital, a diner, and several literary allusions.

The Red Mile by  hoppa12345 Summary:  I never quite believed that Jane was totally unaffected by the events that took place in the closing scene of 3.18. How could he be? Warning: mentions of suicide. 4 chapters, one posted every two days. COMPLETE

Six months after he left the CBI, Lisbon goes in search for her missing consultant and is horrified about the state she finds him in. It is going to take some convincing for him to accept help which not only takes its toll on him but her also. Helping him may be one of the biggest challenges she ever has to face.

1x14 - 'There's no business like Cho business' is an adlib from Simon Baker

S1 - the conversation between Wayne and Grace about carrots and the bloopers of this scene is hilarious.

5x02 - when Charlotte (Dove Cameron) rolls her eyes at Jane (Simon) and he says don't roll your eyes at me

5x04 - Jane's handshake with the mob boss

EDIT 5x14 - the poker scene that was gifed by @tmsource and @katebeckets. Robin dealt those cards to Simon on their second take and Jimmy Gadd (our lovely editor) decided to use the scene in the show.

EDIT 5x21 - when Robin hits Simon on the arm as she is driving and her smile immediately afterwards. He then mentions anger management classes referring back to 3x20 Redacted which is her punishment for punching a suspect for Jane.

ADDED 6x22 - according to a tweet by Emily Swallow, Simon actually hurt his ankle when filming the airport scene so Jane limping and sitting with his leg propped up is not scripted!

7x05 - the final scene when Jisbon are talking about their future plans. You can tell as Simon's accent slips into Aussie and he directed the episode so kept it in.

7x13 - the crazy dancing of the cast was scripted but the selfie between Cho, Rigsby and Van Pelt was an improv.

ADDED 7x13 - the triple kiss between Jane and Lisbon was an improv according to a tweet by Robin Tunney as she stated she had 'never seen a lip wipe in a script'.
