By request of the discord! Here’s the smut thesaurus I’ve been building to help me write. It’s even longer now because I included some extra words from The Ultimate Guide to Writing Smut Fic by  QuinnAnderson on AO3. 

How many words are there for “penis” and “thrust” (that aren’t completely cringey)? Here are all the ones I’ve gathered so far 😂

Silent love (quiet moments):

Reading together. Gently running their fingers through the other’s hair as they read to them in a soft voice. The other one silently listens to them and their heartbeat until they get fully immersed in the story they’re bringing to life.

Cooking together. Backhugging the person that cooks. Smearing flour over each other’s face and making the kitchen a mess. Playing rock, paper and scissors to decide who cleans up. But both end up cleaning together while sharing stories of their relationship.

Walking together. Intertwining fingers, shoulder brushing against each other and shy giddy smiles as they walk. Pulling the one on the road closer so that they don’t get hit. Caressing each other’s thumb and finding comfort amidst the crowd. 

Sleeping together. Hushed breathing and feather-light touched when one wakes before the other. Covering the other’s face with their hand in order to block sunlight. Pulling the other one deeper in their embrace. The asleep one unconsciously rolls over and curls into the other one as if it’s their comfort place.

Watching TV together. Volume turned up just loud enough to be heard for the two. Lights dimmed, wrapped in blankets and aircon switched on. Romantic things that take my breath away

Slow dancing in the living room/kitchen to the sound of "Everybody Loves Somebody" (or another song with a special meaning for them) side smiles, butterflies on the stomach, listening to each other's heartbeats through the music.

Stargazing. One of them looking intently at the sky, saying, "Isn't this beautiful?" The other look at them and say, "I've never seen anything more beautiful." (my heart>>>>)

One of them is sick, like, really sick. And the other cancell all their plans to take care of them. (ooomg🥹)

In a car ride, one of them is really tired and falls asleep. The other don't want to wake them up 'cause they look so peaceful, so they keep driving for hours 'til the other wake up by their own selves.

After an awful day on work, one of them finally gets home late at night and see their partner awake. "Hi,honey. I was waiting you for dinner!" They say with the sweetest smile (🤧🤧🤧)

Even though they love each other, one of them remains insecure about marriage. "What if...What if I'm never ready?" "I can wait for you for ever, my love" (Sad? Sad. But a fluffy sad)
