It really does seem like the writers just completely forgot the very public press conference and the surge of comments by the public because I am still not over how haein "confirmed everything" without looking online even once. The way the secretary had every chance to tell her the truth but just didn't and instead gave her confusing clues like please what are these unnecessary plot points? It's also just particularly funny that hyunwoo had to plan how to get out of this murder accusation, working tirelessly with his friends but no one thought to tell haein to look online?? And so let's say eunseong deleted every article on the internet, one there's absolutely no suggestion of this and two there's an epilogue of hyunwoo's friend taking screenshots to sue and you are telling me no one thought to send her that, in the era where if something is online 5 minutes and then deleted it's still on the internet forever???

The way this show insults the characters and then me lol.

I've been trying to read Funny story and it's not impressed me much yet

So I'm reading that Mercedes might be offering Max 150M/year to race for them? If they are, do you think they're doing it to break records and draw attention to Max joining the team? I've never heard of anyone in any sport getting paid that much for a single year. I can imagine this being widely publicized and more people tuning in to find out why he's getting paid that much. I think this is also their way of sending a clear message to Lewis that they simply never valued him. All it took was Max winning 1 WDC for RBR to match Lewis' salary.

However hard Merc might be trying he's got a lot to lose leaving RB. There's so many factors at Play here. Newey, Marko. He's been their Star the last couple do years and I doubt rb will just let him go without a fight. And those numbers are all speculation. The only thing I hate is Toto wanting to sign that guy despite all the logical business reasons after everything that happened in 2021

I hate that my parents haven't realised how horrible traumatised I am by their marriage. Ive tried so many time to compartmentalise and see them as different entities - humans and parents but it just doesn't work when they keep getting worse.

Now I REALLY need Lewis to win a race. I know it's practically impossible w/ that shitbox, but if Max signs with Merc and pulls off a win in a car comparable to the W15, we'll never hear the end of it. And this is precisely what Toto and Mercedes want to achieve in signing Max. They want to undermine Lewis' success.

Unless Merc gets mighty upgrades and either driver are putting that car in top 3 in quali and have a good enough second half kinda like ferrari did last year- I don't think there's a chance of ANYONE winning in the W15. Even if we say Lewis has lost some mojo, GR isn't doing all that well either in the car. Averaging what P5/P6? Ferrari and McLaren look like they have more than decent cars to occupy those top 5 with even AM faster than the Mercs. Let's see what happens in this long season

baekhong lost their baby and they never addressed it and baekhong have not moved past it since they use 1031 everywhere and we are at episode 16 and it probably won't ever get addressed because we need to watch cars hitting people and contrived memory loss instead

You know what is an absolute shame, that queen of tears had all the potential to be so so great. All it would have taken was a little more writing comprehension and understanding that a story doesn't need 50 something plot points, everyone would have tuned in for just baekhong and them navigating the complexities of marriage, dealing with their families, and dealing with the potential loss of life, and the way two people can be so destined for each other, fine they could have had villains but the villain didn't need to be a one dimensional character that had such plot armour throughout the show to the point that the main female character who has such intellect in all other moments somehow loses it around him just so we can entertain mediocre moments of ridiculousness, at the very least focus could have been placed on one villain, instead we have some deranged execution of mommy/son issues that had such potential but was just wasted and it's the way this drama feels like it's insulting my intellect that really just gets to me.

With that said, I still think baekhong is precious and that no drama has had characters like them before but I really think that it isn't even the writing anymore, it's that soohyun and jiwon have given this story their all and watching them has been a treat because they bring out the best parts of baekhong while the writer runs around in circles.

Episodes 11-12 should have been her surgery episodes. 13-14 could have been her memory loss and her chasing and getting them back at whatever level. 15-16 should have been Eunseong downfall and getting the company back with Baekhong working together and falling in love again. What the hell is this downfall
