I love pasta and this is no secret! 🤤 As a pasta lover it would be pre-PASTA-rous if I didn’t like lasagna 🤷🏽♀️. Last time I visited the @UrbanSpace Vanderbilt Food Hall I could barely contain myself trying all the vendors. Although I couldn’t FINish these fried fish tacos from @Seamore’s I still tried enough of them and they were absolutely SEAsoned perfectly! As much as I enjoy checking out rice new areas and pigging out in new restaurants, I also love supporting NYC institutions whose comfort food and service have made me happy ever since I was a teenager (especially considering how many fantastic businesses have been pushed out because of NYC’s constantly evolving fabric + rising costs). @NoodletownNYC for me is one of those places. I hope they stay in businesses for generations to come so I can one day take my future child here! 💁🏽♀️❤️🍃🍖🍚🍗 . 🍚: This dish here is from @NoodletownNYC’s “Barbecued ítems on rice” part of the menu. Here you can choose between roast pork, roast pig (similar but different 🐷 parts), roast duck or chicken. You can order 2 or 3 different meat combos - I opted for their roast pork + chicken. BUT I ATE THIS YESTERDAY AND NOW I AM OBSESSED AND PRAYING THAT ONE DAY @blueribbonfc ADDS THIS TO THEIR PERMANENT MENU!! 😭❤️ . 🍗: Behold @blueribbonfc’s September sandwich of the month, The State Fair, in partnership with LA Restaurateur @JeremyFall! 👨🏻🍳 The State Fair is inspired by the sights, sounds and most importantly flavors (FUNNEL CAAAAAAKE YA’LL) of the fair. It’s filled with Blue Ribbon Fried Chicken, funnel cake, powdered sugar and maple mayo (which I would consider eating with a spoon 😭) on a housemade brioche bun. I’m so angry at myself for waiting so late AND YOU ONLY HAVE 2 MORE DAYS TO GET IN ON IT. I feel like there will be a lot of complaints in my comments from folks who feel like this steak isn’t cooked. But I’m a medium rare gal, this melted in my mouth LIKE BUTTAH and I don’t care who knows it 🤷🏽♀️. This dry-aged steak from @DelmonicosNYC is a part of their brand new Fall Menu where @ChefBillyOlivia perfectly sliced these steaks to get us all excited for STEAK FLIGHTS. Not visiting NYC’s oldest restaurant would be a huge miSTEAK. 🙋🏽♀️❤️🥩🥩🥩🥩🥩🥩 . 📚: FUN FACT - In 1868, @DelmonicosNYC was the very first restaurant in NYC to allow women to dine without a male escort.
