I am SO astounded at the amount of hate you’re getting not even because when I was a minor navigating through fandom, sexual scenes between teenagers were not this big taboo thing, but because these are the same people who will read straight YA novels written by authors who are also in their thirties or even older and post the “spicy” parts they highlighted in pink on TikTok without an issue… People these days need to find a problem with everything because they can’t accept reality is not all polished and clean and “morally superior” all the time… Teenagers do have sex, if the only people who wrote about the teenagers who have sex were minors we wouldn’t have good fanfiction LOL. These people will start treating authors loads better once they realise the ones who write the stories they love are grown adults on their own time out of their own free will
