THROWBACK TIME! As the start of the 2024 tour is approaching, I would like to ask you if there is a moment that made you happy at the 2023 shows you've attended? 🎟❤️
This moment here I will never forget: Oliver Riedel leaning out of the boat to put a bass pick into my hand... (x) 😭😭😭
Runner-up moment: During the very last concert in Brussels, we were a group of people who had made signs. My friends made signs saying thank you to Paul for the music, smiles, and so on.
Of course, I had to make a sign that said "UND OLIVER".
I almost died when Oliver acknowledged us and took an extra bow right in front of me. I was so lucky that @viktor_lifad on Instagram captured the moment on video.
Thank you for the ask. Hoping to make more good memories this upcoming tour.
2023 Europe Stadium Tour Photos 4:
Paul/Richard - Mein Herz brennt, Odense
During the 2023 Europe Stadium Tour, Richard Kruspe often visited Paul Landers on his side of the stage during one chorus of Mein Herz brennt. This made for a nice photo opportunity. While going through some of my shots, I found this series from their concert 02.06.2023 in Odense.
First, a cursed shot of Richard:
Then Richard went into intense mode:
But of course, when the two guitarists find together on stage, it often ends with smiles:
I haven't been able to find any post where you might've said something about it, but how was Rammstein security regarding a camera?
I'm attending my first 3 concerts this July and want to buy myself a good camera, not a huge one but good, before it and am not sure regarding security.
Any infos for a new Rammstein concert goer?
Exactly what is allowed to bring into the venue can vary from location to location, so it is always advised to check for each venue.
Generally, the rule seems to be that compact cameras without interchangeable optics are allowed. Sometimes there is a size limit on the lens as well. That said, I have experienced both that the list of items allowed inside was incorrect, and also, that security guards do not know what is allowed.
I brought a compact camera with me in 2022, and I experienced several times that security said it was not allowed, even though it was specified that it was. Luckily, this was resolved because guards saw the camera early, and they had time to check with a supervisor before doors. Still, in 2023, I decided to skip the compact camera because even though it should be fine in theory, I didn't want to risk getting my entry delayed because of it.
That said, most of the time it should not be a problem at all as long as your camera adheres to the rules of the venue.
There are people who have smuggled in cameras with interchangeable optics, but that is always a risk. If you try something like that, you need to be prepared to have to leave the queue to go drop it off somewhere before coming back.
More of my photos from the 2023 Europe Stadium Tour. It is not a secret that Oliver Riedel is my favourite Rammstein member, but it was really challenging to photograph him this tour. His initial outfit had his entire face covered by the visor, and when he took it off, my camera didn't want to focus on his face because of his dark make-up. I have so many bad, unfocused shots of him, but fortunately, some turned out okay.
L: 20.05.2023 LIFAD Rehearsal. I may or may not have screamed when Oliver Riedel first walked onto the stage wearing his new costume. It was surreal.
R: 22.05.2023 Vilnius. I failed getting a proper shot of his new outfit during the rehearsal, but managed to get a good one during the first regular show.
L: 27.05.2023 Helsinki. I love how this shot came out.
R: 28.05.2023 Helsinki. Oliver often looks really focused when he comes out to dance.
L: 02.06.2023 Odense. Oliver through confetti.
R: 03.06.2023 Odense. Oliver looked a bit tired in the photos I took on this day. It could have been the drama taking its toll on the guys.
L: 07.06.2023 Munich. Oliver doing his Puppe outro dance.
R: 08.06.2023 Munich. Oliver, the otherworldly creature.
L: 10.06.2023 Munich. While I loved Oliver's costume, I did miss seeing his face.
R: 11.06.2023 Munich. Oliver leaning on his bass during the Du riechst so gut freeze.
L: 06.07.2023 Groningen. Oliver posing.

R: 16.07.2023 Berlin. Oliver smiling after doing his Puppe outro dance. It had been my goal to capture him smiling at least once during the tour, and this photo made me incredibly happy.
L: 18.07.2023 Berlin. Oliver hiding behind his bass.
R: 22.07.2023 Paris. Oliver kneeling during Zeit.
L: 30.07.2023 Chorzów. I love this shot, even though I can't see his face.
R: 31.07.2023 Chorzów. Oliver looking pretty majestic.
L: 03.08.2023 Brussels. Oliver smiling, again(!), as he visit to the front of the stage during Du riechst so gut.
R: 04.08.2023 Brussels. Oliver probably accidentally stepped on his pants during the Du riechst so gut freeze, and it looked like his butt almost popped out of his pants.
05.03.2023 Brussels. The last bow of the last show of the tour.
It was a great summer, and an emotional one. I managed to interact with Oliver on stage, not much, but everything counts. When the next tour leg starts, I will be back and keep showing my appreciation for my favourite musician.
All photos taken by me. Please don't share without credit.
Oliver Riedel's wife was one of two people credited for Oliver's stage outfit from the 2023 tour leg (the other person was Sara Kittelmann). Marie also dressed up the band for their Rosenrot promo shoot with Kasskara Agentur (which I like to call "The Fashion Shoot").
Paul Landers's wife did hair and make-up for the band for their LIFAD promo shoot with P.R. Brown in 2010. Arielle also did Paul's hair and make-up for his signature guitar shoot with Erik Weiss for Gibson. Paul's daughter Lilli is the assistant of TwoColors, his son Emil's duo, that has made remixes of Radio and Angst.
Andrea Marino, boyfriend of Richard Kruspe's daughter, is a member of Emigrate, has made a remix of Adieu, and was assistant for Richard during the 2023 tour leg. He has also done a non-published remix of Du riechst so gut. Andrea and Khira Li each played a DJ set at the Emigrate pop-up event in the Rammstein Store in Berlin.
Two of Christoph Schneider's sons were in the Ausländer music video.
Till Lindemann's oldest daughter Nele was a production assistant for Thalia Theater in Hamburg, which is why Lindemann created six songs for the play Hänsel & Gretel. Those songs became the starting point for the Lindemann album F&M, which featured five of them.
I've a question but not as spicy as others 😁
Is any of the family involved or was involved with the band? Like I've read that Schneider's sister used to make their costumes in the 90s and I know Richard's daughter sometimes helps with promoting Emigrate -- that sort of thing.
Oh and what exactly does Joey Letz does during tour? I know he's involved in both Emigrate and Lindemann.
hi anon!
Oohh, love that question! Well, the list that i know is probably not complete, but we'll start here and let others add on.
Constance Schneider - Christoph's sister, and indeed, did costumes for the band in the past (not anymore afaik)
Jenny Rosemeyer - Flake's wife, did the whistling part on the song 'Roter Sand'
Khira-Li Lindemann - Richard's daughter, was the child's voice on the song 'Spieluhr' (she also features briefly on the 'Live in Berlin' DVD and indeed participated in promoting the latest Emigrate merch line, also DJ'ed at a couple of afterparties on the 2019 tour
Emil Reinke - Paul's son, member of the band Two Colors' featured with a RMX on the 'Angst' single.
Andrea Marino - Richard's daughter's boyfriend (and bandmate at Emigrate), featured with a RMX on the 'Adieu' single
---
Emigrate is basically "Richard's family and friends project": 😊
Maxime Alaska Kruspe Bossieux - Richard's younger daughter, acted in Emigrate video "You're so beautiful" and sang backing vocals on Emigrate album "The persistance of Memory"
Margaux Bossieux - Richard's former girlfriend (and Maxime's mum), member of Emigrate, all albums
Caron Bernstein - Richard's former wife, collaborated in writing lyrics for various (earlier) Emigrate songs)
Andrea Marino - Khira-Li's boyfriend, member of Emigrate on 'The persistence of Memory'
on the first album 'Emigrate' also his kids Khira-Li and Merlin Besson are thanked, and his brother Gorden Kruspe (Gorden also gets a thank you on 'Silent so Long')
(okay i'm not going to list more of the former girlfriends featuring in something or we'll be here all night 😄)

Joe Letz has been friends with especially Till and Richard for a loooooong time
and they both like having him on tour, in this video you can hear Joe talking about how they called him and asked him to just come along, they'd find something for him to do 🥰
In 2019 Joe was sort of a PA for Richard, handing him his stuff, helping him switch outifts and generally supporting him, and being the resident DJ at the afterparties.
In 2022 Joe started out as Richard's PA again, somewhere around the middle of the European tour Joe left (Richard's PA from then on a lady, i think her name is Shelley). At the US part of the tour Joe was seen visiting the band again, and going to clubs with Till between concerts.
And ofcourse most importantly, Joe is a drummer on most of the Emigrate videos, and is a drummer for Till's new Till Lindemann band, where he joined Till on stage on several shows. Unfortunately until now they couldn't play a lot due to Covid, but i'm sure there's more to come 🌺
I first heard Rammstein in 1997, but didn't "join the fandom" until 2019. I was in the fandom before I started posting on Tumblr.
Favourites and least favourites fluctuate. Right now, Mutter is my favourite. The least favourite is probably Liebe ist für alle da.
It is not a secret that Oliver Riedel is my favourite band member, but I will look at photos and videos of all of them.
Yes.
I only have this one.
Yes, 41. Yes, a lot.
I think all famous people get their share of negativity. Rammstein have lived with accusations of being right-wing since the beginning, as they were seen as "too German". While they started out trying to speak up against it, now they don't see the need to, because they know who they are and what they stand for. I try to ignore most of the negativity, as it is not worth spending too much energy on it. My liking the band or not does not depend on other people's opinions. I can follow what is going on and make up my own opinion, and I choose to support them.
Don't waste time on it. Make up your own opinion on whether you support them or not, and stand by your own decision.
I can't think of anything in particular, but I'm sure it has.
It would depend on the situation.
I don't read much fanfiction anymore, but when I do, I prefer those where the personalities of the guys are reflected in the characters and where real life traits or experiences are referenced. If there are too many discrepancies, I can't relate that well.
Rammstein is a priority in my life. I have met a lot of people in the Rammstein community who have become real life friends and whom I meet regularly both at concerts and otherwise. Tumblr in itself is not a very important medium for me, but there are some high quality posts that are worth being here for. I prefer faster mediums for interaction, such as Discord.
hello! i'm interested in how the rammstein fandom was like way back in the 2010s and everyone's experiences now, so, to help in my research, i've prepared a couple of questions, that are designed to let me have an insight into your r+ experiences
this is open to all active r+ accounts, especially mutuals and people i follow, regardless of when you joined the fandom
so, without further ado, here they are:
when did you join the r+ fandom, and if applicable, were you in it before creating your tumblr? or did you join it because of tumblr/other socials?
what is your favourite album? what is your least favourite album?
which member or members do you tend to gravitate towards when looking at pics, gifs or videos?
have you created any media based on r+? this is including (but definitely not limited to) fanfiction, fanart, gifs, appreciation posts, analysis posts, fangames and cosplay
do you post on your main blog mostly, or on your sideblog(s)? do you have sideblogs for different fandoms other than rammstein? (e.g: i have one for tf2 i plan to post on)
have you been to an r+ concert before? do you own any merchandise?
i've noticed a lot of negativity from outsiders who say some... unkind things about the boys, or who criticise them based on what they think r+ is. this doesn't seem to be exclusive to last year, in fact it's gone on since their creation. how do you feel about this? where do you think this comes from? does it get to you?
for new r+ fans: do you have any advice on how to deal with this drama?
has the fandom had any "you had to be there" moments? they can be good or bad, and anything before 2023
if you had one chance to have a heart to heart with each member of rammstein, what would you say to them? (a quick summary for each is ok :3)
when reading fanfics, which ships and tags do you tend to read? do you read aus or fanfics set in the real world with a little "canon divergence?"
finally, what does rammstein and this community mean to you?
i'm sorry if these seem personal or anything, i don't wanna ask too many questions and i'm not trying to snoop, i actually want to know about people's thoughts within the fandom so i feel a bit less alone, although it's been amazing (especially since i'm half till and half flake centric)
i am open to any and all opinions so long as they are laid out respectfully, which i know this community does very well :3
Since you're tracking the photo, here it is on the wall of Jacob Hellner's studio. Based on the era, I would guess it is either taken by Erik Hackenschmidt or by Olaf Heine. In my head it could make sense if it was the former and that it is a memory of him as he died from cancer in 2002, but of course, that's just speculation.
Christoph Schneider started the 2023 Europe Stadium Tour clean shaven. However, as the tour progressed, he grew a beard, which peaked in Munich 2023. The Rammstein drummer later shaved off the beard and went for a moustache only.
I have made a small compilation of Schneider photos from the four shows at Olympiastadion in Munich:
