there’s always been a destination,    a route she’s on to get her where she’s going,    pushing every single boundary that they have pressed on her skin;     she knows who she was born to be.     her mother once said it was hard to be around her,    hard to deal with the whirlwind that surrounded her bones because beth couldn’t stop,    couldn’t pause and think of anything but the end goal,    and it’s not that she doesn’t know what it does,    it’s just that she made herself a promise.    she was always going to be incredible or nothing,     she doesn’t know when it will be enough.       ❛   three weeks,     but i’m thinking i could manage the hours pretty well so every few weeks i can get a monday and friday off,    come back and visit.     the company sold for more than i thought it would so it’s easy done.   ❜
