Black Lives Matter
My final Project is about the code progression. By experimenting with the heic-format I figured out the structure of the code. The pictures are usually divided in squares. By changing points in the code, it’s glitching each square after another. For my final project I created a picture, which glitches in only one square. I made 148 glitches of it, so, that the progression of the code is visible, very detailed. Out of those glitches I made a gif for now, but when corona is over and I have the possibility to print again, I want to print it out and make a flip book out of it. So the message behind gets more and more visible. As the content, I decided for the very crucial situation at the moment, „Black lives matter“. 8:46 is the amount of minutes, how long the police officer pushed George Floyd down. I wanted to do something with typography and a color gradient. Because as I already realized, colors are glitched in a gradient, while typography and photos give very interesting wild results. Some of those results I also show here as single glitches.

So I was wondering, what happens, with typography. It was interesting that the glitches had the same sturcture, but were also completely different compared to the stripe-pictures.
