I wouldn't say it would be a deal breaker. All my ocs are considerate and understanding of things. However, they might ask if you would be okay with them replacing kids with animals. I can see this most with Vyzer (My Little Buddy), and Nohi (Sweet Venom).

Not to include some of them aren't able to reproduce anyway. Like all the robots and some of the aliens (they're not sure what would happen if a human and another species tried to mix).

In conclusion, you are good to go.

In the professor's story you mentioned acidic saliva, does he have some control over the level of acidity? Or is the reader just not allowed to smooch the professor?

He doesn't have control over it, however you are a giant space ship that full of the best scientist around the universe. There's some stuff you can cook up that makes him smoochable. Just make sure you don't forget it.

Cows have a very long tongue! Baby cows can make little sounds that sound like mnngbahh and a mixture of a mmm and a burp!

Baby cows have a very low voice even tho they are babies! But the adults have just a bit deeper!

When snakes shed their skin they go blind for a period of time because their eyes have a thin piece of skin over it!

Amphibious animals eat their own shedding skin (they shed mostly in the night)

They also often breathe through their skin!

You know I had to run to YouTube to see what a baby cow sound like and ended up on a complication of cute baby cattle. I do not regret a thing.

If snakes go blind when they shed, that probably highly possible for Nagas. Ohhhhhhhhhhh 😏
