Redrew/very mildly redesigned my first camp camp oc, Nyx!

He goes to Nocturnal Camp, he's 10, specifically loves exploring caves at night and researching animals of the night such as bats. The cardigan is a hand me down, he actually has a jacket of his own but can't wear it at night bc he needs the camouflage.

His running gag is just being a reoccuring background character that looks so done with the absurd shit that happens in the show.

Camper Ross AU thing

Cut thing because this post got a little long

Other stuff I didn't have room for on the paper:

-Cries a lot (often Max's fault)

-Probably still hangs out with Ered, but the dynamic would be pretty different since she's a little younger than her now and has a different personality.

-Always wearing that gray cardigan*

-Unlike CIT Ross, she only wants to leave Camp Campbell for like the first day because she wants to go find Lynn. Once she realizes the whole situation she stays willingly and doesn't spend 2 whole seasons being a bitter hostage.

Basically the setup for her story is the same but she's 13 instead of 17 when the Woodscouts overtake Camp Lilac. She gets thrown out for being a girl and ends up at Camp Campbell. Her friend Lynn was taken into the Woodscouts because he's a boy, and she wants to save him. At first, she just wants to contact the police, but she pretty quickly learns they're no help when it comes to the Woodscouts, so if she ever wants to get Lynn back she'll have to find a way to save him herself. Since she's a missing child, if she goes to the police they'll just take her home without Lynn, so she lays low at Camp Campbell for the summer, not wanting to leave without her friend.

*That Gray Cardigan: one of the staples of this blog in the early days. based on a real cardigan I actually had when I was 14, which I wore every day because I was afraid of wearing anything too flashy. It didn't disappear from Ross's design until I revamped him entirely and gave him the Woodscout lore (it still appears in depictions of him pre-camp campbell, not that there have been any of those recently, except for in the Spooky Island Comic where Lynn has stolen it)
