about. (tw: depression mention)
nari was born the second of what should end up being three shin siblings, in busan. they were what you might call the perfect family, her dad being a pediatric surgeon and her mom a nurse working at the same hospital as he did. they were also a very traditional family, so while nariā€™s mother would often take care of them and things around the house, her father would usually come home late. he would walk up to her motherā€™s seat on the table, put his arms around her and kiss her on the cheek before sitting down and asking everybody about their days. in nariā€™s memory heā€™d always looked like he was carrying the world on his shoulders, endlessly tired but also truly heroic. her mother would always tell them that dad couldnā€™t be around much because he was saving other childrenā€™s lives and how he was making sure other momā€™s wouldnā€™t have to miss their babies. so truly, how could nari view him as anything but that: a perfect hero.Ā
she often asked him for stories of his work, listening with wide eyes as heā€™d speak on the different children and their issues. he was good at explaining things, even as a six year old she could understand just about everything. most of all she understood one thing, itā€™s important to help others, especially those weaker than yourself. and just like that, she became obsessed with taking care of others. while her older sister was technically two years her senior, it would still be nari kicking the boy who had pulled one of her braids hard enough to make her cry. sheā€™d also take care of her little brother, trying to help him with his homework and reading stories to him every night. in many ways she tried her best to be a hero to others, just how she knew her father was.Ā
of course things would have to take a turn for the worse at some point though and for nari that turn came when she was twelve. after scoring a perfect a on one of her maths tests, she was so proud, she wanted to show her father straight away and so she left the bus at the clinic, knowing her father was currently working. however, wandering around the department, she couldnā€™t find him anywhere and the nurses didnā€™t know where he went either. disappointed, she was just about to leave, when she saw her father through the creak of an almost fully closed door. walking closer, she took a careful look inside, unsure about the noises escaping the room. when she saw the half-dressed woman with her arms around her dadā€™s broad shoulders, they suddenly looked a whole lot less like the dependable shoulders of a hero. stepping back, she almost couldnā€™t believe what she had seen.Ā
not knowing what to do, certain sheā€™d destroy her entire familyā€™s lives if she spoke about this big secret, nari didnā€™t say anything. she didnā€™t say anything for another three months, though her mother was wondering why nari suddenly didnā€™t seem as eager to spend time with her father anymore. but who would want to spend time with someone like him, why had she ever wanted to be like that man. it took those three months until her mother found out herself. a scenario that looking back had always been likely, considering they worked at the same hospita. nariā€™s mother found out and nari found out when only days later her mother told her and her siblings that they were going to spend some time at their grandparentā€™s without dad. her grandparents that had moved to canada a long time ago, therefore being little more than strangers to her and her siblings. there were tears in her motherā€™s eyes, she clearly didnā€™t want to tell her children about their fatherā€™s ill behavior but nari knew and she knew her mom knew now as well.Ā
things were not the same afterwards, not only was their entire family uprooted and relocated into another country, their family wasnā€™t the same either. their move to canada meant her mother started working in her grandparentā€™s little korean restaurant, which soon became somewhat of a homebase to nari herself, who would spend most of her afternoonā€™s there doing homework and drawing endless little doodles into her notes. maybe it was a silent show of support, considering the fact that due to her motherā€™s relucatance to tell the children, her siblings still didnā€™t know why they had moved without their dad. with every month that passed, every indicator that their stay was going to be a permanent one, her siblings grew more and more upset with their mother. while nari didnā€™t understand why her mother would choose to protect her father like this, she kept her mouth shut. she figured her grandparents would have to know about this, figured three adults should be able to make a sensible decision about this.Ā
however, as the years passed, nothing about this solution seemed to work out well. they were struggling. the restaurant clearly wasnā€™t able to really support the lives of six people but her mother had fallen into depression, making it hard for her to take on any other job. they were making ends meet but very barely and neither nari nor her siblings were used to it. tensions were building at an almost daily level, with her siblings, especially her older sister, raining down their frustrations onto her mother while nari would fight her tooth and nails to defend her. her mother might not be perfect, these days it often felt like she wasnā€™t even really truly there, but the fault for all their misery clearly was her fatherā€™s and his alone. one day, the fighting got so bad she just yelled it out. yelled out that their father was a rotten bastard who had cheated on their mother. silence followed her words and only as she looked up she saw her mother had walked into the kitchen, looking at nari in disbelieve. apparently she still hadnā€™t put it together. hadnā€™t known nari was aware of what had happened all along.Ā
following all this, none of them ever got as close again as they had been before. her elder sister resented nari and her mother for not telling them earlier, her mother was a ghost of who she had once been and nari? she distanced herself a lot from her family, realizing the weight this entire situation had put on her ever since she had seen the awful scene. the only one she was still genuinely close to was her younger brother, whom she shared her anger about her father with. now in the second half of her teens, she mostly spent her time with friends from school, hanging around in skater parks or breaking into public pools at night. quickly she realized she liked those things that made her heart beat faster and her mind forget about just about anything else. on the other hand, she spent even more of her time drawing, having long since realized it was the only thing she truly wanted to do. she was doing pretty good at school and maybe, just maybe if her life had been different she could have gone on to become an art student.
instead, fresh out of college she started as an apprentice at a tattoo parlor. this plan had arisen after, in a drunken bout of horrible ideas, nari had once tattooed a couple of her friends and it had come out halfway decent considering her drunken state and the bad equipment. she had liked this, leaving her art on somebody elseā€™s body. one of her friends also had a cousin, who had a friend, who was a tattoo artist and so she started her apprenticeship at the parlor that friend worked at. not too long after she got her license, finally getting to fully move out and get her own apartment. while she felt a bit bad about leaving her struggling mother behind, she knew in the end there was nothing more she could do for her. if her mom was to become better, sheā€™d have to want that herself. not long after she moved out, her younger brother basically moved into her place. it was about the time that he graduated high school, which nari heavily supported him in. she knew he had an interest in studying and so she pushed him to try his best and even ended up paying most of his tuition out of her pocket.Ā
meanwhile, over the years, nari became better and better at what she was doing at her job. she had a decent following on social media as well, admiring her work and soon people would travel across the country to get tattooed by her. alongside that came more artistic freedom, as she started denying certain design requests and instead introducing more of her own ideas to clients. at 28 she had saved enough money to open up her first own parlor, which was a hit right from the start, considering the reputation she had build for herself. by now, she was a household name in the scene, known mostly for her creative designs and shading abilities. now she only tattooed her own designs onto other peopleā€™s bodies, taking rough suggestions but mostly demanding her artistic freedom. as an artist, this felt like her final step towards freedom after years and years of tattooing butterflies and inspirational quotes. she could finally do her own thing, finally truly be an artist in her own right. only just now, nari moved to seattle to open her second parlor, this time in the us. she doesnā€™t quite know why she went here to take care of this herself, but on the other hand she had never been one to turn down an adventure.Ā
tl;dr (bc lord knows this turned out way too long)Ā
nari was born in south korea, she is the middle child of three. her family seemed all perfect and what not until nari caught her dad cheating, followed by her mother finding out as well not too soon after. not wanting to tell her children but determined to leave her husband behind, nariā€™s mother moved them to their grandparents in canada. after that her mom became somewhat depressed and they were struggling financially as well. her sibling were very mad at their mom, while nari tried to be by her side. one day she tells the others and they all further distance themselves from one another, aside from nari and her little brother. after school nari took on an apprenticeship as a tattoo artist (bc she once drunkenly tattoed her friends and it wasnā€™t half bad) and now she is a worldwide known name in the field. she is opening her second parlor in seattle now, which is why she moved here.Ā
this got way too long and now i just wanna go sleep but like iā€™ll try to proof read etc as well as write some wc and whatnot tomorrow or so. ill also put out a plotting call then but u can react to this as well. mwuah !! <3Ā i hope it is a halfway decent read hskjdf

ā†ćƒ»:*ļ½”( nam joohyuk. twentysix. cis man. ) | look who entered the cabin! itā€™sĀ HAJOON NA. HE is known for being theĀ HIMBOĀ of the group & thatā€™s because they can beĀ AFFABLEĀ but alsoĀ NAIVE. we bet theyā€™re excited to be coming back to the cabin. they believeĀ GUY.EXE by SUPERFRUITĀ is the best way to describe them. wonder what trouble theyā€™ll be getting into this season.
hi hi, okay finally getting around to writing this intro. sadly, still not on my laptop bc god forbid anything ever gets delivered as planned lol. so pls forgive me if this turns out somewhat sub-par, iā€™m typing it on my equally sub-par ipad keyboard rip. fingers crossed i might get my charger on monday. but letā€™s get to business - this is hajoon, who also happens to be a brand new muse for me. heā€™s equal parts precious baby and big headed idiot. v sociable, trusting and endearing but also probably up to some dumb shit at any given time. letā€™s get into it (yuh) SKJDFHK
basics.
name: hajoon na.
nicknames: joon, joonie.Ā
gender: cis man.
pronouns: he/him.
age: 26.
date of birth:Ā march 19th, 1996 (making him a pisces).
place of birth: harbor springs, michigan.
nationality: american
ethnicity: korean.
occupation: dog trainer, tiktok creator.
orientation: bisexual, biromantic.Ā
biography.
hajoon na was born as the first child to hyunjin na and angelica kwon, respectively an accountant and a nurse. both of them were overjoyed to welcome their son and start their little family, which had until then only consisted of the two of them and their dog valentine. however, they shouldnā€™t remain such a small family for very long as hajoons little sister was born only two years after him, making his run as an only child ever so short-lived. hajoon didnā€™t resent his sister though, instead fully embracing this new role as her older brother. it was fun to have somebody he could take care of and who would blindly follow his lead for quite a few years.
while there family was never rich, they didnā€™t have to worry for much, especially since their parents placed both of their well-being before most other concerns. their education was another one of the things they really cared for and so the whole family even travelled through europe twice when hajoon was in his teens. all in all, he wasnā€™t ever a disappointment to his parents, eager to please them. however, he also wasnā€™t quite the high-achiever they might have wished for. always getting good but honestly no exceptional grades, even though he was already studying much more than he personally would have liked. his sister, harin, proved herself to be much more the academic his parents were hoping for.
honestly, it wasnā€™t always easy for joon to have a younger sister who quite possibly was much smarter than him but in the end he was glad for her and his parents. they got what they wanted after all, with a daughter who soaked up all the knowledge she could get her hands on, especially everything space related. on the other hand, hajoon coasted through college, not quite smart enough to be of notice but certainly well liked by his peers. he was always one of the popular kids, despite never really trying. while others might have stepped on people to get them up the ranks, he had never done anything of particular note aside from having a massive glow-up in his teens and genuinely being nice to pretty much everyone.
maybe itā€™s the fact that heā€™d always been so effortlessly popular or the way his parents were basically as supportive as could be but it means that hajoon grew up to often blindly trust others and be pretty self-assured. sure, he knows now that he certainly isnā€™t extraordinarily smart but extraordinarily handsome was also worth something, right? after school he didnā€™t quite know what to do with life and so he took an infamous gap-year, mostly spent volunteering at the local animal shelter. it was there that he realised he wanted to work with animals long-term and so he began working towards becoming a certified dog trainer.
by now he works as a dog trainer, having opened his own training center with a friend of his. through a tiktok he once made with his own dog, friday, which was mostly meant to be educational, he had already gotten a small following on the site. ever since the groupā€™s tiktok blew up in 2019 and the show was aired afterwards, however, that following had become quite sizeable and he has continued posting. i would personally describe his content as a wild mixture of educational dog training tips, tiktokā€™s everyone but himself would describe as thirst traps and dad jokes. harin always tells him he should stick exclusively with dog content because the rest of it is supposedly cringe af. but the internet at large doesnā€™t quite seem to agree with that assessment.
ok, that is all i have for u rn bc this is getting on my last nerve.iā€™d love to brainstorm some plot ideas w u and get things going for my boi. tysm for reading through this and maybe iā€™ll add to it once i have a proper keyboard again kfdjhkdfd.

mookdaĀ narinrak. cisĀ woman. she/her. ā”ā”Ā thereĀ goesĀ kannikaĀ ā€œkaiā€Ā everettĀ leavingĀ theirĀ homeĀ inĀ seagateĀ district. theĀ twenty-fiveĀ yearĀ oldĀ fromĀ newĀ yorkĀ city,Ā nyĀ worksĀ asĀ aĀ motorcycleĀ racer. iā€™veĀ heardĀ thatĀ theyĀ areĀ assertiveĀ &Ā dauntlessĀ butĀ canĀ alsoĀ beĀ impetuousĀ &Ā abrasive. theyĀ remindĀ meĀ ofĀ screechingĀ tiresĀ atĀ aĀ suddenĀ halt,Ā aĀ daringĀ smirkĀ paintedĀ ontoĀ aĀ doll-likeĀ face.
hey there, beautiful ! flirting already, so u give me all the juicy plots. i'm daisy, 25 and i go by she/her pronouns. i'm also from cet but usualy quite nocturnal so the hours i'm around are somewhat unpredictable. gotta keep them on their toes. this is kai, she is.... a wild ride (pun intended). honestly, she got created bc i just really wanted a motorcycle racer muse and it didn't get less wild afterwards, so now here we are. i also hardly ever got time to write her frfr sooo, hopefully she will finally have her time to shine here.
basics.
name: kannikaĀ ā€œkaiā€ everett.Ā Ā
nicknames: usually goes by kai, family calls her nika.Ā
gender: cis woman.
pronouns: she/her.
age: 25.
date of birth:Ā april 7th 1997.
place of birth: westport, ct
nationality: american
ethnicity: thai.
education: high school degree.
occupation: motorcycle racer.
orientation: bisexual, biromantic.Ā
biography. (-ish?)
kannika was born some 24 years ago in westport, ct, a couple of minutes drive outside of new york city. the only daughter to a bigtime real estate investor and a former miss thailand she was born into money, more money than any single family propbably should have amassed. her mother had always hoped to become a model after her pageant win, her hopes and dreams carrying her all the way to the us but not much further than that. instead she became the trophy wife of one kory everett, heir to the everett group which his family had been building ever since his grandparents arrived in the us. it would be a lie to say that their relationship ever amounted to much beyond a pretty picture, there was never much love lost between them. soon, however, they welcomed their daughter kannika into their lives.
her early childhood kai spent mostly in the company of her grandmother, who had retired earlier and given the post of ceo to her father, and nannies that had been employed to look after her. her father was basically always working, she hardly ever saw him during those years and her mother had never envisioned herself as a housewife and mother so more often than not nycā€™s busy social life was calling her outside. still, kai was loved, especially by her grandmother who did most of the work in raising her. she was a strict woman, one who didnā€™t express her love through hugs and kisses but rather through making her food and admonishing kai whenever she made trouble. her grandmother, even to this day, is the only person kai is even willing to attempt to please, forever grateful to have at least one parental figure who seemed to genuinely care for her.
by the time kai was nine, her parents finally divorced. this came after many months of cruel worlds thrown at one another and many disputes as to how wealth would be distributed between these two. no, it wasnā€™t pretty and kai tried to be at home as little as possible, preferring to flee to her friendsā€™ houses or stay with her grandmother. once the divorce was finally through, kai spent a year traveling with her mother, having begged and begged to go with her. at this point, staying all along with her father, a man she barely knew and yet didnā€™t particularly like seemed worse for her than traveling the world with her mother. it only lasted for that long though, since her father then demanded for her to return claiming that the many changes of location would be too unstable an environment for a kid to grow up in. so she returned, half mad and half glad to be with her grandmother again. when she returned she also found her father had remarried to a woman called ilona, yet another pretty face, yet another beauty queen.
ever since that her relationship with both of her parents has become even more difficult. her mother has been barely present in her life, traveling the world, kai often not even knowing where she is at the moment. her father on the other hand drastically started pushing his expectations onto his only daughter and therefore default heir. it were expectations kai could never meet of educational successes and good behavior. she had never had the focus or smarts required to do well in school nor the will to bend herself to the requirements of others. her desires had always been of the more hedonistic nature and so there was always tension between kory and his stubborn daughter.
kai barely managed to graduate high school, her grades looking rather grim but it wasnā€™t like she was looking forward to joining college or anything like that. sitting around and being taught just wasnā€™t right for her. instead, she had only one goal. making her hobby of motorbike racing into a genuine occupation, something that her family would have never supported. still, she fought for her dream, leaving westport and starting to pursue her career. while her father didnā€™t agree in the slightest, it wasnā€™t like he could very well disinherit the only heir he had. giving the company to somebody who wasnā€™t a direct descendent had never been considered an option in the everett family. until today this has been working out about as well as it could but the pressure for her to return and finally start learning how to run the business is growing. if it were only for her fatherā€™s sake kai would have long since told him to fuck off but she truly doesnā€™t want to disappoint her grandmother and so she has simply been pushing it off. now, it seems increasingly difficult to continue doing so and soon she will have to come up with a new plan. she has been living in mellott beach for one and a half year now, which is quite considerable for her.
tl;dr: chaotic hot motorcycle-racer
headcanons.
kannika is the name given to her by her grandmother. the whole family took on an english surname when her great-grandparents immigrated to the U.S., in order to avoid prejudice and xenophobia, but her grandmother still wanted kai to have some ties to their thai heritage. she usually gets called nika by her family and some childhood friends but otherwise goes by kai, which she personally does prefer. itā€™s sounds cool, despite her grandmother laughing at her so bad when she told her for the first time bc kai means chicken in thai. rip, homegirl rlly should have learned thai better ig.Ā
about this... she actually only speaks very broken thai, which her grandma isnā€™t happy with but it wasnā€™t really spoken between her parents and her, so she never learned it well enough to have full conversations. she has also only been in thailand a handful of times, they donā€™t have any close ties to family over there.
kai has always been a bit of a troublemaker. her grandmother tried her very best to make kai a well behaved child and it worked decently well as long as she was around but without grandma to have an eye on her kai did pretty much whatever she wanted. she solved conflicts with fists, giving an innocent smile and big eyes whenever she got caught. even though she was never one of the brightest, she was certainly one of the boldest, never scared to let everybody know exactly what she thought about them or to convince them to join her in her .... questionable ideas. mischievous little mf basically.
takes care of street cats if she sees them around. she also gives them names. never thought about having a cat of her own but she likes strays.
part of the reason why she was never good at school and is so impulsive or even erratic is because kai has been struggling with adhd for the most part of her life. she got the diagnosis for this very late though, in early adulthood.
honestly very incapable of keeping relationships alive. not only of the romantic nature but also that. she doesnā€™t trust easily because her trust has been broken before but she also doesnā€™t like to compromise and can be a little too mindless of other peopleā€™s feelings. also if she doesnā€™t see people regularly she tends to just sort of, forget about them. no object permanence even in relation to people.Ā
has lately started making a decent amount of money from social media, her following slowly growing to a degree that makes her interesting for sponsors. u will find her @vroomvroom, where she mostly shows of her bikes, outfits and dry sense of humor.
connections.
okay this will be rough but here are some... ideas.Ā
childhood friendsĀ Ā ā€”Ā maybe your muse also grew up in the nyc, new york state region ?Ā maybe they met during summer in the hamptons ?Ā something like that would def be a possibility. maybe your muse got roped into kaiā€™s dumb ideas and theyā€™ve been through some adventures together, maybe they were more of a reluctant participant. this could also be somebody she got even connected to the summer house thing through. they could still be sort of besties now or maybe they drifted apart a bit and one of them just reached out recently?Ā
childhood enemiesĀ ā€”Ā this would basically be the same thing only they didnā€™t get along at all. maybe kai bullied your muse a little, maybe your muse wasnā€™t one to get stepped on either and so it was more of a mutual dislike. we can plot more on this for sure.
connections, connectionsĀ ā€”Ā so our muses were never really friends but they were always supposed to be. for business reasons. these two spent quite a lot of long golfing sessions snarking at one another or suffering together in silence. kaiā€™s father would never stop telling her how your muse was going to be such a useful friend at some point later and itā€™s to be expected that maybe their parents did the same. ( 0 / 1 )
only ever call you when iā€™m highĀ ā€”Ā i am thinking these two kind of only get fucked up together, they hardly ever met outside of partying but whenever they went out they did so together, getting into a lot of trouble and being in love for each of these nights only to seperate without as much as a word in the morning. the kind of relationship that really only existed in this very particular frame. it was messy and sort of beautiful. i could imagine maybe one of them just left at some point and they kind of lost contact but we can plot particulars. ( 0 / 1 )Ā
misc. ā€”Ā fwb, i follow u on insta cause u hot (either way), haha i swear you look just like my ex, somebody who tries to get close w her bc of business, somebody who like rlly rlly wants to ride her bike ( sheā€™d never tbh ),
okay, that's all i got for u today. love u all, let's plot! <;33
