sorry for yet another single-issue voter moment but i'm convinced they have no idea what to do with hos most of the time (except for moon arc and two specific scenes from seele arc). like no words can describe how baffled i am with how they separated her from fuhua AGAIN for a completely stupid reason and then made her fuck back to earth. bro she was so shoehorned into this arc it's not even funny

obviously there's still act 3 + animation left but after them not putting her in the PART 1 FINALE ANIMATION i have negative expectations....

Hi, I figure I would send an ask before the urge to do it going away. I found your tumblr yesterday (been following your twitter) and it has been an absolute blast scrolling through your blog (I hope that doesn't sound too stalkerish) seeing the birbs being lovey dovey (!!!) and reading your txt(s). Your dedication for them is amazing!!! (Insert screaming here). If you don't mind me asking, what are the motivations that keeps you going? Or maybe just what you love about them, hit limit, I stop.

honestly a lot of it is sunk cost fallacy... senti left at the end of 4.6 and only reappeared around 5.0, so that was like 5 months of Nothing unless you count her summer skin. then she disappeared again for another YEAR and at that point it felt like i was in an abusive relationship with mhy while i was living on crumbs.... her writing in the moon arc was practically perfect but unfortunately my fixation started to wane and hasn't recovered since.

also doesn't help that fuhua's appearances in the story since taixuan arc were lackluster at best (tho i haven't gone through the latest chapters so i can't judge them yet

mainly i just really love hos and i find her to be such a fascinating and unique character and there's so much to analyze about her!! but lately i've been thinking i only fell in love in senti's potential (as well as sentihua's potential) and mhy just completely dropped the ball on them. if i'm gonna be brutally honest i think the current writing of sentihua's relationship (platonic or otherwise) sucks balls and i have no faith in mhy doing anything interesting with them, now or in the future. there's SO much they could've done with them but that's a rant for anotha day....

sadly with my lack of interest in part 2 and constant frustrations with mhy my activity in the fandom will die shortly after garuda drops 😔

i do understand the localization team's decision to just completely avoid translating the brick's name from CN bc literally no one would get the reference but the eng name makes it go from "vaguely cool gangster talk" to "kid doing a LARP" and that makes me sad
