howdy! long time since regularly seen :)

lots has been going on, especially the past few months! I’ve been working in preschools, graduated with a degree in elementary education, moved in (finally!!!) with my long-time boyfriend/the actual love of my life (don’t tell him I said that, though - I’d never stop blushing from embarrassment), plus lots of other things!

my interests tend to change like the weather, but I thought that i would like to document some things that I am really into right now:

- the “it’s corn!” song from tik tok. who isn’t into that right now? it has the juice!

- cottagecore/princesscore dresses. i wanna be a selkie girl soooooooo badly. 🥲 also, very in love with brands like jessakae and ivy city co. too! that style has been giving me absolute life

- the domesticity and slower living I’ve been able to explore since moving! it’s been about a month since I’ve moved in with my love and I’ve really, really been loving the ability to practice my skills! I’ve also had the looming anxiety of needing to find another job over my head, though, so it’s been taking away my joy a bit sadly.

- princesscore/historical beauty and fashion videos/vintage vibes/period dramas like persuasion and other media like it/classic femininity in general! i honestly have been eating this kind of stuff up!!!! I am in an era where if I got a fancy ball gown-like dress, I can and will wear it to relatively mundane things like grocery shopping or walks around the neighborhood because I feel best that way right now and I don’t care how it is and/or isn’t received by others.

- simple/minimal/clean makeup. I nearly lost my passion for makeup at the beginning of the pandemic (with wearing masks, what was the point of wearing it?). as things seem to be stabilizing, I am simultaneously slowly regaining interest in this particular type. I’m looking to give off “no makeup” makeup with literally next to nothing’s worth of applied product, with products being as beneficial to the skin and clean themselves as possible.

Looking forward to spending more time on here again (hopefully) ☺️💕

I love finding comfort in small things. I love my bath products that make me smell like cinnamon, vanilla, and pumpkin. I love being soft and gentle. I love my fuzzy socks and soft cardigans. I love doing sparky makeup and wearing perfume. I love having a face routine and doing everything to make myself feel as nice as possible. I love being a feminine person. I love surrounding myself with sweet energy.

Here are the small pleasures I want for my life: to watch my freshly-hung linen blowing in the breeze in my lush green garden, to eat and drink out of ceramic vessels that I made myself, to have candle lit dinners with my love, to be held and loved in my very own community, to be able to raise creative, compassionate and well-adjusted children, to live a life of authenticity and wellness instead of perfection and performance, to be close to God, the to be deeply loved by the person that I bare my soul to, to write and receive letters, to water the vegetables in my garden and learn the meaning of perfect timing as I harvest them, to cook new recipes for people I love, to bake and taste sweet treats, to to travel and read widely, to be kissed sweetly, to have adventures, to watch my hair grow with excitement, to leave my mark in my little creations (writing, painting, designing), to feel whole and healthy in my body.
