it's time to cast a gentle kiss on princely lips, so soft, so secretly done within the gentle protection of rosebushes. ♥

         𝐭𝐨 𝐛𝐞 𝐡𝐢𝐝𝐝𝐞𝐧    behind   familiar  branches littered with  roses had been something that willas had grown accustomed to —- however the kiss from the woman before him had not been expected.  To be away from prying eyes of those who wandered highgarden.  To expect such solace for even a short amount of time had been unheard of to the heir —- someone had always been   WATCHING   him ( and daenerys, no less ) and it was comforting the same as it was bothersome —– especially now that they had gone for a long walk through the highgarden maze.  Gentle, had his touch been when he leans in to her kiss, hand framing ivory skin —- he felt his heart halt for a few moments, he swears it. 

         This is what comfort had been, within a lord who knew nothing of it in another person for such a long time.   There had bee a time where he would have shied away from such a gesture from another, to save himself the embarrassment but with Daenerys —- it had been muscle memory. So, he returns this kiss; elongates it for however long he can, because gods only know how many stolen kisses they are allowed —— or how many secret moments they are to have.   ( @draegonessa )

       How  delicate  he had  been  when  it came  to the  woman  before him; but by no means had she been fragile ——— or anything of the like.  Instead, he takes a moment, appearing to consider her plea but instead he shifts comfortably, leaning in a bit, and begins to absentmindedly trace letters into the free space on the top of her hand. ( it had been his way of non verbal communication, of sorts that he had come up with.)   But still, he stays comfortably at her side, enveloped  were his arms around the woman all had known as daenerys stormborn —- and idly, he would trace absentmindedly  into her hand. Whether it had been the stencil of a rose, or words — he felt time near had been drowsy .. but enlightening. 

   WARMTH —   had been something he had not experienced  in such a long time within another person; but with the woman next to him, he found comfort and solace and .. it felt jarring as much as it felt welcoming. The world they had lived in did not allow or expect love within a marriage but —– even arranged after his grandmother’s death, he felt this had been so — different.

      “ If I say your name, will you leave me ? “  why must it be ‘ one last time  ‘  ?  He was not a clingy person by all means, he knew when to leave someone be in the means of space — but. There had been something uncomfortable with the idea of not having her around. Even if she need leave, there would be a familiar ( yet unfamiliar ) feeling of momentary loss. After all, he’s only felt this way with his younger siblings, family.  So strange.  “ Because if so —- maybe I’ve  forgotten your name… “  mildly teasing, that would be impossible —– no one would forget her, he knew he couldn’t.  ‘ i love you ‘  had been left in the wake of words he had traced , stopping almost abruptly  —  as much as he would attempt to prolong their conversation, he knew what had been right.  Belittling his own small fears all at once, he had forgotten them for the time being.

when you get that feel of just being a burden / bother to a friend and you’re just... not sure if you’re just being extremely paranoid or if im doing nothing but further the bother if i dare trying to talk to them, because i honestly fear getting those half-replies that try to kill a conversation, but at the same time i don’t want to drown in assumptions and?? i don’t know what to do and it’s devouring me.

christ, i just want to be myself with my friends... why is it so complicated?

          i just want to make a little note in regards to what happened last night — which i wasn’t even aware of, since i wasn’t online, so admittedly i know 1% of the story. and yet — the person affected was a good friend of mine, one i used to write with extensively when she was in the ASOIAF fandom, and one i still talked to and followed once she moved to the SW fandom. even if she wasn’t though, that would change nothing — because a person, a real human being like me and you and all of us, was made to feel so uncomfortable on her own blog that she was forced to leave it, because of FICTIONAL CONTENT. because of writing fictional content that was never forced on anybody else. a real person, with real feelings and problems and aspirations and insecurities. this is honestly the only point i want to emphasize. because we pride ourselves on being so inclusive and so open-minded and so respectful and so pro-everything good, and, at the end of the day, this what we are actually doing. this is the world we’re creating.
