Finally completed the main demons from the series! This one took a long while compared to the rest… _(:3 」∠)_

The next set(s) of Virtual Hugs will now be done at my own pace, and I won’t reveal the exact list of characters I plan to draw. Do look forward to it, along with other projects that I have in mind!

Hey! I’m not dead! It’s been 10 months since I’ve posted, but I’m finally back! … For a while, at least. I’ve been into KNY for a few years now, but Season 3 kinda rekindled my passion for the series once again, so here’s a new virtual hug project set! 😃

This project was originally started with The Great Ace Attorney series (you can find it on my page, actually!), but I thought the concept was really cute, so I decided to do this for some characters from KNY too. 🙃

( A one shot I've been wanting to make since I've had an idea for it. I think Vegeta might be totally ok with Trunks not being straight -- so long as he's, you know, not not straight for anyone but Goten. )

"So, uhm, I think I'm bi."

The news came quietly as the Briefs family ate. Bulma paused mid fork to mouth. Her brow furrowed as her brain processed the information -- then looked to Trunks, still rather confused. Vegeta barely flinched, continuing to eat and occasionally sneaking a bite of his food to Bulla, who sat next to her father in a high chair.

"Oh, uhm," Bulma stuttered, straightening her posture slightly. "That's -- great, sweetheart. Have you had anyone in mind?"

Trunks shrugged and half nodded his head, mainly focusing on his food though ate slower than usual and he was side eyeing his father, who ate across from him, rather than his mother. She couldn't blame him, really. His father, the Prince of All Three and a Half Sayains, accepting of anything regarding same sexed relationships? He just honestly didn't seem like the type of person.

It seemed to take a moment for Vegeta to realize the sudden tension at the table, and looked between his wife and son with a confused expression.

"What?" he snapped, half lowering his fork. Bulla made grabby hands at his meal even though she still had food on her own plate.

"Just - nothing?" Trunks asked, blinking. Vegeta blinked in return. "No reaction or angry rant?"

"About what?" Vegeta insisted.

"About me being bi!" said Trunks, exasperated.

"Oh, didn't your mother not teach you?" Vegeta replied almost stupidly. "I mean -- even if she didn't, you obviously forgot the talks we've had."

Both Bulma and Trunk's brow furrowed as Vegeta rambled on.

"Vegeta, honey, what're you getting at?" Bulma asked, chin resting in her hand.

"I mean of course he's bi racial!" Vegeta scoffed. "Simple! Honestly, I thought you all were smarter than this."

Trunks and Bulma sat there, staring at Vegeta for a long moment as the Sayain Prince as he continued to eat -- before bursting into laughter. Vegeta's brow furrowed as he ate, shoulders straigtening.

"What?!" he asked, mouth half full of food. "What's so funny?"

"I don't think you get it, dad," chortled Trunks. "I don't mean bi racial. I mean bi sexual. Like, I like girls and guys."

Vegeta blinked, brow furrowed as he stared at Trunks. Then, he continued eating.

"...... Still nothing?" asked Trunks as he continued to eat.

"Well it's not like it's not normal," Vegeta shrugged. "It's like -- you know how they say human women are more apt to be this bi like you because there's always more women on the planet than men?"

Trunks and Bulma nodded, if only curious.

"Well -- that's how it was on Planet Vegeta," the Prince explained, "except it was reversed."

"So -- more men than women?" Trunks asked.

"Exactly!" Vegeta nodded. "So makes sense in a way, you'd be bi, too."

Trunks went to nod again --

"Wait," Trunks blinked. "Bi, too? Who else is bi?" He looked to Bulma in question.

"Oh, don't get me wrong," Bulma mused, "I've had my fair share of experimenting -" Trunks shuttered, and Vegeta gave her a curious stare, "- but I'm positive I'm straight."

Trunks went to reply how grossed out he was -- then paused, brow furrowed as he looked to Vegeta again.

"Wait, Dad -- are you saying you're bi?"

Again, Vegeta's face contorted into confusion, fork mid rise as Trunks asked him his question. His head cocked to one side in thought. Then Vegeta shrugged and nodded.

"I suppose so," he agreed, and continued eating.

Trunks blinked, then looked to his mother. Bulma shrugged and continued on with her meal as well. Bulla was still none the wiser.

Trunks sighed, rolling his eyes.

"Well," Trunks sighed, "you took it a lot better than I thought you would." Vegeta snorted.

"Not like I care. Be kinda weird if I did," said Vegeta. "Besides, it's not like you're gonna try and date Kakarot's brat. Then I'd be pissed. Dear Kame, the dumbass wouldn't get over it."

Trunks practically choked on his food, cheeks tinting red. Bulma tried to help, patting Trunks on the back to help clear his throat. Then her brow furrowed.

"Wait, is that someone in mind Goten, Trunks?" she asked somewhat seriously.

Trunks stared, wide eyed, before trying to busy himself with his food again. That didn't quite work, as now Vegeta seemed rather annoyed. He even went so far as to stop eating!

"Oh, you're kidding!" Vegeta frowned. Bulma had started giggling at this point at the absurdity of his reaction to Goten being Trunk's crush. "No -- just no! I do not need that dumbass thinking we're family if you start dating! He already thinks we're best friends, for Dende's sake!"

Vegeta stood from the table then, grabbing his plate as he moved to go eat in the other room. He didn't seem to hear Bulma laughingly trying to get him to sit back down as the color finally started to wash from his face. Vegeta did return to the kitchen with his plate -- only to grab Bulla from the high chair and take her along with him, muttering something about, "Only kid I have, god damnit."

"Don't listen to him, Trunks," Bulma chuckled as she continued to eat. "He'll come around eventually. If anything, I think you two would make a great couple!"

"Thanks, mom," Trunks muttered, smiling slightly as he ate.

At least his father's rampage wasn't too bad. Now if he could just get the courage to let Goten know how he felt -- which at this rate and with his dad's reaction, might be never.

GT was pretty bad, but it wasn’t absolutely horrible, so I’ll give it that much. I just think that I should rewrite it…

Goku doesn’t get turned into a kid, because that storyline messed with me a little. But he does go and tell Bulma that they have a year before the Black Star Dragon Balls destroy the planet.

Maybe Pan still boards the ship, but what if Goku doesn’t have time to get on board before they blast off? Goten (since GT was supposed to stand for Goten and Trunks) actually gets to go in this version, and is on the ladder leading up to the entryway just as Pan presses “blast off”. He scrambles up into the ship and both he and Trunks scold Pan for not listening to her parents.

And since I’M rewriting this, I want to include Truten because I love my gay Sayain boys. So in my head, and like I’ve said a few times before on this blog, I think they get together in their teens, and in GT, they’re in their early twenties. So they’re already together, but I don’t think they’re married quite yet.

Pan is always acting like she doesn’t know them, because since her parents aren’t there to embarrass her, Trunks and Goten take it upon themselves to do so.

Some of the episodes would be different because they don’t make sense, but the one(s) I’m really looking forward to are the ones with that big blue whisker guy that can predict when an earthquake hits. I can’t remember his name rn but I’ll get there.

Anyway, those episodes have to be my favorite ones just because of the “you have to dress up like a bride and pretend to marry him so she doesn’t have to! Also because she has the Dragon Ball and we need it”. I found that hilarious. And Goten being there to witness Trunks having to do that I feel would make it even better.

“Aw, maybe you should wear that at our wedding.”

“Piss off, Goten.”

Maybe it makes more sense if Goten did it but I still think it would be funnier if it were Trunks.

Yeah, GT was pretty awful. But that’s what we got fanfiction for, amiright

I’m rewatching GT and I’m about to cry. Almost all the fanfics I’ve read that have Valese in them, she’s the bitch. But oh my god, she’s so damn sweet. Like… some dude asked her where he could find the Sayains and she directed him to a shop because she didn’t know what a Sayain was but they “had really cool stuff” and that he could probably find them there. Holy shit. She just… I just…

I’ve said this before, my OTP is definitely Truten, but lemme just say, after Valese and Goten break up, she becomes like… their biggest fan. She’s their number one supporter and remains friends with them. And that post I made the other day, about Trunks and Goten wishing for a kid because Vegeta said no to a dog, Valese is the first to know. And even though she doesn’t have the most common sense, she’s just like.. “why couldn’t you just wish for a dog?”

She becomes their kid’s babysitter. For free. Voluntarily. Because she loves them. That just seems like something she would do.

I’m definitely adding to this.
