Hi! I’m Luna!

I’m 26 years old as of writing this, I live in Canada & my timezone is EST. I've been writing in various RPC fandoms for 11 years now, & have been doing so on Tumblr on & off since I was 19. I'm cis (probably) & use she/her generally but I'm also totally okay with they/them used in a general sense if you’re referring to me. I’m Pagan & have been practicing sporadically for about 12 years now, so you could say I’ve always had an interest in religion, folklore & mythology of all different kinds which may explain the weird assortment of fandoms I’ve participated in (DC, Marvel, MCU, Arrowverse, Historical, Helluva Boss/Hazbin Hotel, Lucifer, Glee, Twilight, True Blood, Greek Mythology, Yū-Gi-Oh!, Death Note, Supernatural, PJO & more in no particular order).

I have ADHD, depression, anxiety & a handful of physical health issues on top of working a part time job which causes my online activity to be pretty random but frequent, but other than that, I don't think there's anything else important to say. If you'd like to learn more about me feel free to reach out, I'm usually pretty receptive to new conversations even if I’m sometimes shy about reaching out first!

That out of the way, here's a few things to keep in mind when following me:

This is a sideblog for my BSD OC, Kisara, heavily inspired by a character of the same name from the YuGiOh franchise, & all follow backs will come from @moonrisenmuses​. Now, I understand that multimuse / hub blogs aren’t for everyone, & there’s absolutely NO pressure to follow, interact with or look at my main blog! I’ll only be using it to send asks from my sideblogs, & only if you happen to have anonymous asks off! Seriously, I wont be sad or offended if you aren’t interested in my other muses.

My blog is 18+ only as well as multiship, multiverse, & canon divergent. As a general rule, I strongly prefer my RP partners to be 18+ regardless of the fandom simply due to my age & the sort of content I tend to write. Graphic & disturbing, I use swearing somewhat liberally OOC, sexual content, etc. If there's no age to be found on your blog somewhere I won't RP with you, sorry. Even a general idea is okay, it's for my own comfort & safety as well as yours; a 14 year old for example really shouldn't read the type of writing I'll likely be posting. Thank you.

I do tag triggers! Almost all the default triggers (child abuse //, violence //, murder //) etc will be tagged. If you have anything you need tagged that is less common, don't be afraid to ask me to tag it, I'm happy to do my part to make you comfortable!

On Triggering Material: I will not write any of the following on the dash: graphic animal abuse, graphic sexual assault/rape (allusions/references are fine as it's sometimes part of a character's background including my own). This may be in the form of flashbacks, discussions of trauma, recovery threads, etc. I just won't write scenes of it, I'm also fine with 'close call' threads where my muse rescues yours from assault or vice versa since that’s a very real thing that can & does happen IRL. I’m just not willing to post such content blatantly on the dash as I know it’s a deeply upsetting subject, & I have no desire to romanticize sexual abuse. I will not write anything to do with pedophilia or any sexual content with characters or muns under 18, bestiality (as in actual animals, not ability users who are able to become animals), necrophilia, etc. basically the 'main' major things that would squick out most people. For my own & my mutuals comfort PLEASE DO NOT INTERACT WITH ME IF YOU THINK ITS OKAY TO SHIP MINORS & ADULTS.

I do tend to format my replies using small text & customizing with bold & italics for the sake of the aesthetic/emphasis, but I don't expect you to. If you have any issues visually or language wise with how i RP come talk to me & we can try to work things out. I will also be using icons at some point, but not constantly, mostly just to dress up a reply now & then.  

Don't force shipping with any of my characters. If a ship happens, that's great, & you're 100% allowed to just come & ask me if I'd like to ship but don't just go ahead with it without asking. Especially if your muse doesn't fit into my muse's sexuality on one of my blogs. example; I write Chuuya as almost exclusively masc-attracted on his blog (the exception being for shapeshifter/genderfluid characters whom he already has a strong romantic love for); so it would be uncomfortable & unfair to try to force a ship on him if your muse isn't what he’s typically inclined towards. That being said, all of my muses are open to unrequited romances as well, & in fact you don't even need to ask. It's okay for your muse to have feelings for mine, but they might not always reciprocate!

Finally, my blog is absolutely drama free! I will not share callouts of any kind unless someone is an imminent danger. I've been roleplaying for 10 years now & frankly I'm just here to have fun without getting into fights.

APPEARANCE / STYLE: A young woman of mixed European & Japanese descent, Kisara stands at about 5’4”, 115lbs, with a slender, soft physique. Beautiful in a delicate sort of way, she has deep blue eyes of a dark azure or sapphire tone, arresting in their intensity at times, & framed by long white eyelashes. Possessing a heart-shaped face tapering off to an oval chin, Kisara has extremely pale white skin, occasionally mistaken for someone with albinism at times due to complexion looks contrasting with her ‘confusing’ name & ethnicity, this sometimes caused her to be assumed a foreigner. She has very long hair reaching well passed her waist, a naturally silvery-white colour inherited from her mother; due to a combination of light refraction & genetics her hair has tones of baby blue & azure in it, sometimes causing it to appear almost completely blue in the dark. When her ability is in use, her eyes glow an almost turquoise colour.

While she likes her hair down, it can be a bit of a nuisance at times, so she’ll often braid it over her shoulder or wear it pinned up out of her face. Kisara is a modest girl & tends to wear a lot of old fashioned dresses & pyjamas, rarely changing pace with some dark jeans & one of her favourite vintage tops. Her ears are pierced & she likes to wear simple flower shaped studs. Always wears an antique golden locket with her father gave her mother, containing a photo of them mid dance.

PERSONALITY: Kisara is… a bit of an enigma. At first glance she is a mysterious & lonely girl longing for company in a foreign country, with a somewhat timid nature around new people at first. Despite this, she exudes a quiet confidence, striving to be a good person whenever possible in spite of the mistreatment she has suffered & her naturally passive nature. She is not a confrontational person, but even still, she always tries to summon the courage to stand up for that which she believes in, & to be kind to others. Although appearing fearless at times because of her values, this is not the case.

In fact, given a choice, she would prefer to face death without a fight, due to her pacifism & weariness of life. While she tries her best ti be good, she does not expect that to be returned unto her, & is thus often confused when faced with kindness from others. Despite her confusion, her gratitude always shows & she does her very best to pay her debts & thank those who hold a spot in her heart. She sees herself as having to protect those that stand up for her despite her breathtaking demureness; a fragile beauty with a strong gaze. Kisara tends to get a bit lost in her own world at times, causing her to seem somewhat whimsical & childlike. Even still, she’s quite mature with a keen sense of personal responsibility, & is a natural caretaker.

Despite her initial appearances, she is a fiercely intelligent young woman, with a keen sense of observation. She possesses a grace & gentleness about her that often overshadows it, but she’s very well read with a keen interest in numerous topics.

BIOGRAPHY: Kisara Kiyomizu was born Sara Reynolds in the city of Berlin, following a one night stand between her mixed German mother & her Japanese father that turned into an elopement upon her father, Mori, discovering he was to become a father. Unfortunately during the latter half of the pregnancy her mother became horribly sick & was bedridden. She died shortly after giving birth to her daughter due to serious postpartum complications. Grief-stricken by the sudden death of his wife, Mori couldn’t bare to look at his daughter who was the exact spitting image of her mother & also the reason she’d passed. Instead, he chose to set up a generous fund for Sara & all her future potential expenses, leaving her in the care of his in-laws before returning to Japan.

The first few years of her life were relatively uneventful. Sara was an exceptionally bright girl, but had her mother’s frail health, which seemed to be maternally genetic as it was something that had been noted through several generations. Despite this, she was a happy child. That was until one day when foreign soldiers raided their village during the most violent part of the ending of the Great War, pillaging the homes & murdering anyone who resisted, including her grandparents. The children who survived the slaughter were herded into cages & onto ships. Freshly traumatized by the brutal murders, she blocked much of the journey out of her memory. She was six years old.

At some point Sara began being called Kisara as a result of numerous language barriers. She was sold to a wealthy Japanese couple upon entering the country. The mother was violent & emotionally volatile - using her as an outlet for her husband’s abuse towards them both, & the father began to molest the young girl shortly after she arrived in the home, eventually beginning to rape her as well. Kisara’s one solace was the large & expansive library they owned that she was permitted to see refuge in during the relentless abuse. When she was 12 years old, they subsequently kicked her out onto the streets.

After being taken into a brothel at age 14 after living in the streets for two years, Kisara worked as an escort until she was 16, wherein an older gentleman looking for company after the death of his wife took pity on her & bought her out of the brothel, ‘adopting’ her as his granddaughter. Unfortunately the man had his own dark past despite his kindness; he was deeply in debt with the Port Mafia despite living in what was technically neutral territory. As a result, the retired physician was made to treat Mafia members &, given she had no formal education to make a life for herself nor any legal papers, he began to train Kisara as well, teaching her everything he’d learned in his 50+ year career alongside medicine he claims to have acquired from ‘the old country’.

As his health declined she began to care for him, & as a thank you he had documentation forged declaring her his grandchild. As such, when he eventually passed from age & sickness, she inherited everything he owned, his home which also functioned as a modest shop… & also is debt with the Mafia. They made it clear she was expected to either pay back what her grandfather owed or make herself useful in other ways. Given she’d spent the last five years working as his assistant, Kisara agreed to take over as an underground doctor for wounded & ill members of the Port Mafia, masquerading her activities as she converted her grandfather’s small property into a tea house & shop, mostly of things she had made herself or found.

FAMILY: Mori Rintarō { Father }, Elisabet Reynolds { Mother; Deceased }, Elise { ‘Stepmother’ }, Kiyomizu Ryuu { Adoptive Grandfather; Deceased }.

SUPERNATURAL ABILITY: The Legend of the White Dragon. This gift is only summoned when someone Kisara deeply cares for us in imminent danger, or when she believes they are. When triggered, her eyes & hair will glow an almost turquoise colour, & she will involuntarily summon a massive, shining, winged white beast with fiery blue eyed that will physically put itself between her loved ones & the danger. The ability is multi-faceted, sometimes up to three dragons can appear, other times it will be one dragon with three individual heads. If a threat requires all of her strength, Kisara will sometimes be absorbed by the dragon(s) for an extra power boost. Regardless, until she masters the ability she nearly always falls unconscious when using her ability.

STRENGTHS / TALENTS: Kisara is a naturally very quick-learned individual who picks up new skills quite easily, particularly those requiring a close eye for detail and a lot of care/attentiveness. She’s multilingual and fluent in easily a dozen languages ( German, Japanese, English, Chinese, French, Greek, Latin, Spanish, Italian, Russian & Swedish ). She’s an excellent cook/baker. Having been caring for others for as long as she can recall qat her grandfather’s behest, she’s gifted in medical treatment despite no formal education for it.

WEAKNESSES: Kisara has a very fragile health, something she was born with but was also exacerbated by the extreme abuse & trauma she endured while growing up. Physically, she bruises quite easily & doesn’t pose much of a fight, suffering from anxiety, headaches & a nervous demeanour when faced with stressful situations. She tends to become emotional easily & is quite passive when it comes her own well-being, her real strength lays when those she cares for are in jeopardy.

RELATIONSHIPS / ROMANTIC INTERESTS: N/A { Verse Dependent }

QUIRKS / HABITS: Bringing her hand up to her chest when feeling particularly anxious / shocked / upset by something. Tucks & plays with strands of her hair when feeling shy or embarrassed.

HOBBIES / INTERESTS: Baking, cooking, brewing tea, creating her own recipes for herbal health remedies, tea, good luck charms & more. Loves art, the natural sciences ( botany, physics, astronomy, etc. ), as well as classic literature & mythology, theatre, painting/sketching, philosophy, cooking/baking & more. Loves learning about mysticism & spirituality from other cultures. Can often be found jotting down her thoughts or sketching things, especially people & wildlife / natural landscapes.

DISLIKES: Violence, shouting, sudden loud noises, discrimination, being stared at, feeling out of place. Weapons.
