Reality Check Time...
I AM Andy Stluka, I AM Enough, I AM grateful, I AM Le-Vel! This is my Thrive Experience.
Well, here goes.
It's been about two years since I fell off the health wagon. I was doing so good. I was working out 6 days a week, eating healthy, taking health supplements, quit smoking, cut way back on drinking, smiling, laughing and finally put myself first. NO EXCUSES! 💪
My clothes fit good, I felt great, my smile was from ear to ear and for the first time in a very long time, I was actually proud of myself. 🥰
I remember looking at the picture on the left and saying, "You're doing it!!!" 💯
Well, life happened, excuses came back, food became unhealthy, quit taking my supplements, quit working out, clothes no longer fit, smile went away, stress piled up and other people got into my head. 😟
I remember people saying how proud they were of me, I remember being proud of myself. 😁
Now, I look at myself and wonder, "How did I get back to a place that I said I never would be again?" 😭
This week I was getting ready for work and pulled my jeans out of the closet. I own many pairs of jeans. Some would say too many. They all use to fit, and some were even loose fitting. Not anymore. I am down to two pair of jeans that actually button.👖
The only clothes that fit now are my socks. 🧦
What should I do? Go buy new clothes? Go back to the big and fat store? Keep feeling sad? Keep making excuses? 🤷♂️
Or get me back? I came across the quote below this week and it hit me right I needed to be. 💯
I'd like to take this moment to say, I have come home, I have come back to the moment where it all began. I took a leap of faith in me again. I am not starting from scratch, but I am starting from experience! 🏘️
