If anyone is actually interested in this blog, feel free to send requests or ideas. Sending one doesn't mean I'll write, I'll only do it if I want to, but it's still nice to read what ideas others have. I'm always open to talk about AUs and headcanons.

"Are you comfortable?" Vio asked, even though this wasn't the first time you've rested your head on his lap like this. You were so used to being so close to him, he was like some of pillow or even a plushie for you at this point.
"Yeah, don't worry and continue reading your book." You gave him a smile, and he returned it before he directed his eyes to the book in his hands.
It was just the two of you now, the house was quiet since the other three heroes had gone outside to do their own things. It was a calm evening, not too cold, maybe a bit warmer than usual, but it wasn't anything that could bother you, specially when you were resting on your lover's lap.
The sound of passing pages was the only thing that broke the silence in the room, until it stopped.
You opened one of your eyes, as you had closed them before to relax more, to look at the blond. He was staring at you, book now closed and being put to the side as he leaned closer to your face. His messy but soft hair tickling you as he cut the distance between the both of you.
Vio gave you one of his sincere, soft smiles, staring at you so lovingly, as if you were his treasure, the most gorgeous thing he had ever seen. "You're so cute." Your cheeks felt warm. "I'm so thankful to have you..." He leaned even closer, your noses touching at this point. You closed your eyes, waiting for the kiss.
But you opened them when you heard him chuckle and move away, grabbing his book again. He was still smiling, but you could see the teasing glint in his eyes as he went back to his previous position as if nothing happened.
Vio loved to kiss you, but what was better than kissing you? Teasing you, of course! You huffed, trying to ignore how much you wanted to chase his lips. You loved him, but he was a little shit, and you didn't want to let him win...
Never mind, you wanted that kiss.
Your hand grabbed the front of Vio's tunic and, ignoring his startled yelp, pulled him down to you, joining your lips with his. When you broke the kiss, you grinned at him. "Now you can continue reading, Vivi."
Reading could wait for a little while, couldn't it?

You had spent the day organizing the forge. Usually, Blue would do it, but he was busy and you had a lot of free time, so you had decided to surprise your lovers by doing this. You made sure to put everything like usual, as some customers would often move the things somewhere else. It was a bit harder than you initially thought, as many weapons, shields and armors were quite heavy, but you managed to put most things where they should be. One of the others could check and rearrange something, but at least you had done most of the job.
"So this is where you were." You turned your head towards the door, seeing one of your lovers looking at you with a small smile on his lips.
"Vio! Did you find the book you wanted?" The blond had been searching for a specific book for weeks, and even asked the princess for permission to enter the royal library.
"Yes, I found it." Vio lifted one of his hands, a book with a strange cover and a title you couldn't read from your position was in his hand. The hero walked towards you, eyes scanning the pieces of armor you had finished organizing not long ago. "Did you do all of this yourself?"
You couldn't help but smile, feeling proud of yourself after noticing that he was surprised. "Yup!" Your smile softened. "You guys have been quite busy these days, so I want to help as much as I can."
Seeing the gentle, loving smile forming on Vio's face was your favorite thing in the world. His eyes were relaxed, letting go of all tension as he gazed at you. Suddenly, you felt an extra weight on your head. His hand that wasn't holding the book was patting your head.
"Good work." Your cheeks flushed slightly just by listening to his voice, the soft expression on his face didn't help your racing heart. "You did really well, my love." Vio pecked your forehead, chuckling to himself as your blush worsened.
He was so glad to have you in his life.

"This is so unproductive." Blue huffed from his place on your lap.
It was a cold day, and your blue lover was basically a small hylian-sized heater, with the perfect size for cuddles. You had managed to trick him into getting closer and then trapped humbly sitting him on your lap and wrapping your arms around him.
"Oh, then should I let you go?" You asked, lips curling into a teasing grin that he couldn't see. You knew his cheeks were turning red, as you could see a hint of said color on the tip of his ears. He let himself fall so his back was resting against your chest.
"...No." He sounded like he was pouting as he barely moved just to grab a blanket, giving it to you. You chuckled and wrapped the blanket around the both of you, the previous cold quickly leaving your body.
Blue couldn't bring himself to actually complain, even if he had things to do. He didn't like leaving something for later, seeing it as lazy, but he also didn't like the thought of getting up and rejecting cuddles from you. He just couldn't say no to you, and you caught on that quickly.
You both knew that he was strong enough to get out of your hold without a problem, but he didn't. How could he, when he loved being in your arms?
...Everything else could wait a few more minutes.

Green wasn't clumsy, he was laid-back most of the time, but completely changed when it came to fighting. He was quiet, focusing on his enemy, making use of the techniques he's learned and keeping his eyes on the battlefield.
So how come he had ended up so injured?
It wasn't that bad, at least his life wasn't in danger, but it didn't make you feel much better with the amount of blood dying his previously green tunic. His blond hair was even messier than usual, and he couldn't look at you in the eye as you healed his wounds. He was frowning, the other heroes had scolded him for his recklessness.
"I know I shouldn't have run off like that." He mumbled, but you could hear him because of how close you were. "But that monster was looking at you, I knew it was going to try and hurt you while we were surrounded."
You didn't say anything as you cleaned the blood staining his arm, and Green continued. "I understand that you could have dealt with it, I don't doubt it, but I moved without thinking." He huffed. "I know I shouldn't have done that but Blue didn't have to yell at me so much."
The other Colors weren't happy for their leader's actions, and Blue was really angry. You had to convince him that Green needed space so you could focus on healing him properly. The blue hero wouldn't say it out-loud, at least not for now, but it was clear how worried he was for the other.
Green understood, but he was also upset at the same time. "He acts like he wouldn't have done the same if he had noticed before me. Vio and Red would have done the same too!" At this point, you thought that he was talking so much to ignore the stinging sensation from his wounds, pain wasn't something someone could get really used to, even if they were used to it.
You started tying a bandage around one of his injuries, when his next comment made you stop. "How am I even supposed to stay still when I know a monster wants to go after the person I love?" He huffed, but his frown quickly turned into surprise when he realized what he just said.
The hero's gaze turned to you, watching as your cheeks slowly turned red, he knew his were probably worse. "What did you say?" You didn't know if he meant that in a platonic or romantic way, but you couldn't help but hope for the latter.
It was too late, wasn't it? Well, maybe not, but Green didn't want to lie to you, even if this wasn't the way he had planned to confess to you. He took a deep breath. "... I love you, and I didn't want to see you hurt." He moved his hand towards yours, but didn't take it.
Giving him a soft smile, you took his hand. "I love you too." He visibly relaxed with your words, and gave a gentle squeeze. "But, I don't want to see you hurt either, silly." With your free hand, you flicked his forehead. He rubbed that spot, but didn't complain.
"I'll try to be more careful next time, promise."
"You better." You grinned. "I'll give you a kiss for every fight you win without being too injured."
Green was suddenly more careful in battle from then on.

It didn't matter if you liked or hated rain, there were times when it was the worst thing that could happen.
A rainstorm when you were travelling could make it really hard to stay unharmed, with the heavy rain limiting your senses, the cold freezing your body, the slippery dirt... To put it short, it wasn't safe for anyway without proper equipment to be out while it rained.
Sadly, Blue and yourself were in the middle of a mission the princess had asked you to fulfill. Well, she had asked the blond first, but she thought that it would be nice if you accompanied him since it wasn't dangerous. Plus, Zelda knew about his feelings for you, and wanted to give him a little push.
It was supposed to be easy, and there weren't many monsters around, but then it started raining. A few drops at first, and then a heavy curtain of rain fell on the two of you. Thankfully, Blue had quickly found a small cave, deep enough so you could hide from the rain.
But as nice as it was to have some kind of roof to shield you from the rain, it didn't help with the cold. Your clothes were soaked, and the clothes under the tunic wouldn't help much, even if they were dry.
"Hey." You looked at the blond, tilting your head a bit. It didn't take long for him to look away, a soft red appearing on his cheeks, you weren't sure if it was because of the cold or something else. "... Here." He threw a blanket at you.
Blue liked to be prepared, specially during cold seasons like this one, so he usually had a decent blanket with him, even for short missions like this one was supposed to be.
"Thank you." You smiled even if he still wasn't looking at you. He had turned away, giving you privacy to take off the outer layer of your clothes. The clothes under your tunic weren't anything indecent, but it wasn't enough for the cold temperatures, so you tightly wrapped the blanket around you.
But even with that, it was just too cold.
You had an idea, but was it a good one? You weren't sure, it was a bit risky and there was the slim possibility of ruining your friendship with the hero, even if you wanted more than just being his friend. Yet, you made your decision after seeing your crush shiver.
"Blue." You called him so he would look at you. "It's really cold, and your clothes are completely soaked too." You started.
"It's fine, I don't really feel it." A clear lie, even if he was good at hiding his shivers.
"We both know that isn't true. There's enough blanket for the both of us."
His cheeks turned a soft red, frown slightly deepening. "I told you, I'm fine."
"Blue." You were getting tired of this.
"Seriously, I-" You cut him off.
"You're going to take off those soaked clothes and come here right now."
The blond wanted to say something against that, but no words came out of his mouth. Your voice was firm, and he knew how stubborn you could be, so he did as you said, his gaze avoiding looking at your direction. He took off his outer clothes and sat next to you.
You sighed. "Seriously?" Before he could say anything, you lifted him up by his waist, thank the goddess that he was both small and pretty light, and made him sit between your legs. His back against your chest, and his head tucked under your chin.
"Wh, what..." Blue's voice was a whisper, the softest you had heard him. His face was burning, but he didn't try to move away from you.
You probably hadn't noticed, as you were focusing on him, but you had been shivering too, stopping as soon as your body was against his. Feeling a bit bolder than usual, one of his hands moved to hold yours, thumb caressing your skin.
Maybe the rain wasn't as bad as he thought, at least if you were with him.

Vio wasn't the best when it came to emotions, anyone who was close to him knew that. He was smart, but not the smartest when it came to feelings and even social interactions, sometimes he was too apathetic, other times he didn't understand the problem.
But the fact that you didn't love him back was clear.
And the blond didn't blame you, not at all. He was someone who had betrayed the other parts of himself, only to betray his own shadow afterwards just to go ahead with his plan. It was to save the princess, it was to save the kingdom and to defeat their enemy, but betrayal was betrayal. What kind of hero was he? Not a good one, he answered himself.
Everyone has a part that is closer to darkness inside of them, more evil, cunning, willing to manipulate others... He wondered if he was that part of Link. It wasn't strange that you didn't feel the same, and he was surprised that you even tried to be his friend.
Vio didn't mind you much at first, you were his friend when he was merged with the other three, and spending time with you was enjoyable. He thought you were nice, and so did the other heroes. It had been a little awkward the first days after learning that your friend Link could split into four people, four parts of himself, but you got used to it quickly. They were part of the same person, but also their own person, although it was still strange to think much about it.
You were just a friend then, nothing more, nothing less. And oh, how he missed those simple days when his heart didn't ache around you.
He remembered the panic when he first felt his heart jump after seeing your smile. It was sudden, so unexpected he used an excuse to go away and think about what had happened. He was aware of the possibilities, but it took him a few weeks to make sure that he loved you. He really had fallen for you.
However, you didn't love him back.
He could see it in your eyes, in your actions, your reactions, he was sure of it. He was good at noticing small hints, not as good as Red when it came to linking those with emotions but still decent enough, and you never reacted when you called him a friend.
There were times when Vio thought that the usual wince, or a similar thing, when calling the person you loved "just a friend" was exaggerated, but he had found himself reacting in some way when he introduced you as his friend. It was stupid, he knew, but it was still some kind of hint that his feelings might be returned.
But you never reacted in any way.
For you, he was but a friend, someone you enjoyed spending time with, and there was nothing else than platonic affection. Sometimes he wishes he got it wrong, and that you would confess to him. Maybe you were really good at hiding it? Maybe he was worse than he thought at noticing it?
He knew those were lies, slivers of hope trying to make him feel like he had an opportunity when he didn't.
But it was alright, love wasn't perfect. Just because you loved someone didn't mean that person had to love you too. It hurt, but he wouldn't try to make you feel the same. A whisper in the back of his head told him that it was the best for you, since he didn't even trust himself to make you happy. Still, he wanted to be there to protect you.
Yet it seemed that he was too weak, too useless, to do that properly.
None of them had noticed the monster that had appeared behind you. He didn't even spare it a glance as he ran towards you as he realized that you were in danger, but it was already too late.
When Vio had gotten close enough to attack the monster with his sword, your body had fallen to the floor. All he could see was red.
Before, he liked how the color red looked on you, as it was the color your cheeks would turn when he made you laugh, it was such a pretty tint, he wanted to see it on you forever. But now he didn't, he didn't want to see that color on you, not clinging to your clothes, not escaping the horrible wound in your stomach.
There was so much blood, too much, way too much. His head was spinning, eyes unfocused as he stared at your limp body.
That monster had also managed to leave a deep cut on your throat, it was too late for him to give you a potion or use a fairy. You were gone.
Not caring about the other enemies left, although he vaguely knew that there were very few and the others would finish them off without a problem, he kneeled. His hand was shaking as he held yours, your blood quickly staining his fingers and his pants.
You were cold. You were so cold. Why were you cold? Why couldn't he help anyone? What kind of hero was he? His eyes burned, but no tears fell from his eyes. He felt... numb. Vio felt empty, he couldn't touch, he couldn't hear, he couldn't do anything but look at your corpse.
The worst thing is that going this way had been his idea.
It was his fault you had ended up like this. It was his fault for not thinking enough, his fault for wanting to spend some more time with you. If he had been faster you would still be alive.
"Vio..." The blond could hear Red's voice, he was definitely crying, or trying really hard not to. It felt like Vio was underwater, his body felt cold, but not as cold as yours.
As much as he wanted to stay with you, to protect you even if he knew you were already dead, he didn't fight when hands pulled him away from your body. He didn't say anything, letting Red guide him away as Green and Blue stayed behind. They would take care of your corpse, bring it to your family, they had agreed to that even if all they wanted to do was cry.
Days after your death, Vio didn't change, he barely got out of his room, the books he read were getting closer and closer to dark magic. Forbidden spells, dangerous curses, anything. He wondered if he could bring you back along with Shadow.
He had to. He... had to do it. No matter what.
Vio could still feel your blood clinging to his hands.

Hanging out with you was relaxing, and it always left him in a better mood. Luckily, Vio was good at controlling his expressions, or else he would spend the whole time smiling like a fool. He couldn't help it when he was alone though, his lips would lift into a smile whenever he thought about you.
Sometimes, you would just sit beside each other doing your own thing, knowing the other was there with you was more than enough to make you feel calm. He enjoyed the quiet evenings he would spend with you, but that didn't mean he didn't like the times when you would talk, on the contrary, he loved hearing your voice as you talked about your day or something you liked.
The blond would make a mental note with that information, so he could give you a good gift in the future.
Vio couldn't help but open up to you, leaving the act of the calm and collected hero he always showed the people of the kingdom. With you, he tried to look confident, only so it would be easier to fluster you as he found himself addicted to your cute expressions since the first time you had blushed because of something he said.
With you, he felt like he could stop caring about everything else and only think about your laugh, about the way you would make his heart beat like crazy with your smile, about how badly he wanted to kiss your cheek and hold you. These thoughts would make it difficult for him to fall asleep, but he didn't care that much as his sleep schedule wasn't the best in the first place.
He would stay up all night just to think about you.
The hero would do his best to be free whenever you asked him if he could hang out with you, and that's how you ended up like today, sitting next to each other on his bed. He was reading, the only sound being the passing of the pages when he finished that part.
"Hey, Vio?" You called, and he moved his eyes from the book to you. There was a slight red tint on your cheeks, it made you even cuter, he thought. "Would it be okay if I stroke your hair?" Your voice was softer as you felt a bit awkward.
The blond stared at you for a few seconds, almost not noticing how nervous you were under his gaze. It was an unexpected question, but he definitely wouldn't mind if you were the one playing with his hair. He wouldn't say it out loud, but such a simple question was enough to make his heart beat a bit faster. Small touches weren't unusual between you, but you had never really touched his hair besides a short pat.
"Sure, go ahead." He managed to say, feeling his own face start to warm up as he saw you smile. Not wanting you to see him flustered, he brought his attention back to the book he was holding, or at least tried to. He swears his heart jumped when he felt your hand touching the top of his head, slowly moving down to caress the strands of blond hair, and then starting again from the top.
So gently, so carefully... Vio didn't know when he ended up resting his head against your shoulder, your arm wrapped around his shoulders without stopping caressing his messy hair. He had dropped the book onto his lap at some point, eyelids getting heavier and heavier until he couldn't keep his eyes open for any longer, and then he fell asleep.
It had been a while since he's had a nice dream, but this was one of those, even if he may end up forgetting most parts of it when he woke up. He dreamed of a nice, summer day, with you by his side holding his hand, a glint from the ring on one of your fingers as you laughed. He wondered if this would be a dream come true one day.
When the hero woke up, it was around the late evening, some of the last rays of sunshine dying his room with a warm orange. He was a bit dazed, still sleepy and even wanting to fall asleep once again. The soft hand was still on his head even if it wasn't moving, the simple presence of it was enough to make him want to go back to his dream.
"Vio? Hey, it's time to wake up." The mentioned blond could hear your voice, but he was too sleepy to open his eyes. "Vio." You called again, but he didn't move. He heard a sigh. "Vivi, please?"
Vio snapped awake, eyes opening so abruptly that he even made you jump a bit. His cheeks were completely red, the color slowly traveling to his neck and even the tip of his ears. His usual calm, stoic expression was broken, letting you see his absolutely flustered expression.
"Wh, what did you just say?" He asked, even if he had heard you well enough. And how wouldn't he? You were so close to him it was impossible to not hear it. His heart was beating fast, making it impossible to try and tone down his blush.
You gave him a small smile, a red tint on your own face. "You weren't listening to me, so I wanted to see if you would react... Sorry if it bothered you."
"No!" He cleared his throat. "No, being called like that doesn't bother me." He repeated, doing his best to sound calmer, but it was extremely difficult when your body was still pretty close to his.
"Is that so? Does that mean I can keep calling you Vivi?" Your smile grew, and so did his blush. Vio thought about it, but he nodded, it was just a nickname, plus... it made him feel warm, for some reason, he liked it, but only from you.
"Nice. Thanks..." You leaned closer, and he felt your lips touching his warm cheek. "... my Vivi."
He definitely didn't mind when you called him that.
