Two-part fast cure urethane resin is used for the casting as it allows to de-mold faster. The lacquer paint works as the silicon barrier coat for the mold. This helps to lengthen the life of the mold and also allows to colors the surface. The urethane resin has very low viscosity which helps to capture the details of the mold perfectly.
The casting material is poured in equal quantity in two buckets. Mix them and start pouring the material into the lowest point of the mold first and slowly rising to the top part. When the resin turns white in all the areas of the mold, de-mold it carefully.
The shell is easily removed and the once the surface seal is broken, the rubber mold will also come off without any trouble.
Make sure that the rubber mold is not torn as it can be used again for making the same casting.
