hello everyone!!! recently there have been some untrue things going around about @/batsbolts-andfangs i just want to make you all aware that vamp has not done anything that is being spread around!

it is being targeted and harassed by trolls and is unfortunately being made out to be someone that it is not. i implore you not to trust the words of folks trying to spread these nasty allegations around & not to further the harassment.

doll is not the kind of bat to do anything it is being accused of. vamp is considerate and kind, and would not even begin to consider what it is being said. throughout the time we have known each other i have come to know that the actions accused are not anything that vamp would ever do, as it is not only compassionate & knowledgeable, but also sex-repulsed. vamp does not deserve this harassment.

I’m saying this as a butch transmasc - all transmascs need to take a step back and look at what kind of man (broad sense) they want to be. Masculinity is not about hormones or top surgery or body hair or anything surface like that, but about the role you play in the lives of women and children. Be chivalrous, be kind, prioritize their safety. Girls aren’t feeling comfortable or safe. Gender is a community role. Open the car door for your mother, tell your friends to stop weird behavior, and get over yourself.

over on my post about Taylor Swift's enduring heterosexuality there's been a recent rash of people in the tags saying something to the effect of "obviously Taylor Swift is straight, no queer woman would date Matty Healy." which is frustrating, because white bisexual women date little shithead racist men all the time. having a racist boyfriend doesn't mean someone isn't really bisexual, it means that being queer doesn't prevent you from being racist. the thing that makes Taylor Swift straight is that she's straight, not that she's dated objectionable men.
