A report by the New York Times revealed that Israel's Ministry of Diaspora Affairs funded a $2 million covert influence campaign to target U.S. lawmakers and the public during the Gaza conflict.
The campaign, executed by Tel Aviv-based Stoic, a political marketing firm, targeted the American public and members of Congress through hundreds of fake accounts on X, Facebook, and Instagram to advocate for continued military funding.
In the process, three fake English-language news sites were set up to support the campaign and bolster support for Israel's actions in Gaza.

I hope western leftists know that standing for a free Palestine is not the end of decolonization. I've seen far too many white leftists who proudly stand for freeing Palestine which is good but then get nervous and apprehensive at the idea of decolonizing the very land they are on. Norway will recognize Palestine but actively tear down Sámi liberation. Liberation for one people means it for us all. If you support Palestinian liberation but deny it for the Indigenous people of the land you're on then you didn't stand for Palestinians or any of us to begin with.

On this night, we lost everything we have 💔
They said it was a war and it would pass
But since 2021, we lost our home, our childhood, our belongings, our livelihood, our memories, ourselves, our laughter, and our most basic rights. 😔💔
My father dedicated all his time and effort to invest in Al-jawhara Tower, but he lost everything in minutes
In the 2023 war, we lost our family home, and my father lost his job and source of income. We have been displaced more than 5 times
