The real question would be what class. Berserker would allow me to basically make him more like Guts. But he was kind of known to be a robin hood like guy. Leading his mercenary band and protecting the peasants from their oppressors. So Saber, or maybe even ruler?

Onyx couldn’t help but cringe slightly as blood began to leak from the crypter’s Mystic Eye. Ready to sacrifice not only her eye but her life to make sure Surtr couldn’t reduce the whole world to ash. It was almost funny to think that their goals were now aligned... However that thought was fleeting, there were more pressing matters, primarily the hulking giant of fire and ice that threatened the whole world.

Chaldea’s last master is sat on the edge of his bed, head cradled in his hands as he contemplated the events of the past few days. 

Before their mission had just been about reverting history and saving humanity. But now doing so doomed others to be erased so that humanity may live on. All those Yaga, whole generations worth of families destined to die because he didnt want proper human history erased. Maybe that was why it had been so easy to justify his actions in the singularities... They were just points in time, but now they were whole timelines that had avoided being pruned in the first place. But perhaps Patxi had a point. Proper Human History wasn’t always sunshine and rainbows but it held so much more hope and was happier than the Russian lostbelt. It was a life worth fighting and dying for, but even so it was hard to him to ignore all the lives he would be condemning in doing so...

Never before had he been so conflicted. The idea that he was making the wrong decision and possibly disappointing all the people counting on him tormented him and made sleeping difficult. Though he had plenty to time to try while they headed towards the next Lostbelt

Humanities last master barely stands, bloodied and broken before Goetia the King of Demon Gods the singularity around them beginning to crumble. In his right hand he clutches the Katana he has carried ever since the first singularity.

“It’s over Goetia...”

“How dare you speak to us of the end...!? I haven’t lost yet. We still have the will to fight, and the strength to kill you.”

The hulking demon starts to close the distance to prompting Fou to start barking at it.

“I know Fou, stay behind me.”

“...It pains me to ask this, but I must know, Onyx Kokuryu! Why do you Fight!? Why do you not submit to me!? Why? WHY!? Why do you keep fighting so hard!?”

All while the the King of Demon Gods speaks, the master is striking with his sword and pushing Goetia back with magical attacks.

“ITS OBVIOUS... TO LIVE!!!” 

Summoning up the last of his strength and making use of his last remaining command seal to buff his own reinforcement magic as he stabbed his sword into the large eye in the center of Goetia’s chest. The demon started to lurch forward before being hit by one last magical attack, freeing the sword from its chest and sending it crashing onto its back. 

“...” Goetia began talking but Onyx had already turned away and begun to stumble back towards the entrance to the throne, a final glance over his shoulder as they started laughing.

Onyx broke out into a run as the singularity kept collapsing faster and faster however he suddenly stopped as Da Vinci mentioned a sudden energy surge.

“Heh...Of course he isn’t going to make it that easy...”

“...That’s right. We finally understand each other, Onyx. I’m not going to let you leave alive. You will die here with me. I lost, this is a meaningless battle but I will deny you this one last victory.”

“I would have done the same in your place.”

“...Yes, indeed. I also have my pride. Or rather, I do now. This battle may be without resolution or reward, but I shall put my entire being on the line to crush you... My sworn enemy. My hatred. My destiny.”

“Good, Id be disappointed if it was anything else. But I have no intention of dying here and now. Not after everything that has happened. So come on, lets get this over with...”
