kanaya and eridan as inescapable tragedy….sorry i know this is like. cringe or whatever bc eridan doesn’t really matter in the grand scheme of the plot but every time i reread act five it’s like “ok so there’s this girl and she’s friends with this boy and they mess around on chat together and joke around and she plays a prank on him and he feels like he can confide in her and she makes him something that he treasures and he’s going to doom their race to extinction and he’s going to murder her and it won’t stick and then she’ll kill him in revenge and it WILL stick and even though he did horrible things he was still her friend and they’re thirteen years old and he’s going to die at her hands and she isn’t even going to mourn him. okay on to act six” like holy shit give me a minute
