iPad Pro & Apple Pencil artist’s review                                      10/25
While graphics tablets are the standard tool of the trade for digital artists, the Apple Pencil and iPad Pro could be considered an all-in-one package that combines the peripheral and a computer into one easily variable device. Here's one artist's opinion on Apple's stylus and tablet, and how it could impact their workflow. What this former artist is explaining to us that the ipad and apple pencil are good tools to use when moving around and you need something on the go.
In a move that should surprise no one, Apple ultimately delivered an alternative that answered the problem while going above and beyond: the Apple Pencil.
Knowing that the arrival of the Apple Pencil is not breaking news, but the expanding microcosm of tools and versatility that developed around mobile digital illustration is newsworthy for digital illustrators everywhere. I recently took myself on a tour of what the Apple Pencil, an iPad, and software can do. It can get very pricey with the apple products but what the experienced person is trying to tell us that it is definitely worth it especially the apple pencil.

Add in the stress from potentially damaging expensive equipment when on the go, and the prospect made me feel at ease.
In years past, we have seen the arrival of hardware from various manufacturers attempting to produce all-in-one options for digital illustrators on the go. While some came close, their high price tags and fragility did not make them an industry standard, so the search continued.
In a move that should surprise no one, Apple ultimately delivered an alternative that answered the problem while going above and beyond: the Apple Pencil.

The National Indigenous Visual Arts Action Plan
Until the start of COVID-19, Indigenous art sales had been growing for almost a decade, but the pandemic has been a setback. Art centers, galleries and studios have needed to close at times, and art fairs and events have been cancelled. Setting back a lot of the popularity and work coming from this specific art. The market for Indigenous art is an important economic enabler, delivering an income to Indigenous artists and their communities. It is also a powerful mechanism to foster better understanding of Indigenous culture and heritage. The Morrison Government’s five-year plan for Indigenous visual arts will link this most ancient of cultural traditions to the latest in digital technology, boosting its availability to audiences and buyers, here and overseas, and providing new economic opportunities for Indigenous visual artists and their communities. The people have come up with a funding to help raise and support the indigenous art right now during this pandemic.
So, as part of this plan, they are funding the national rollout of digital labeling; they have also committed to exploring the development of a certification trademark that could be legislated. Under this Plan, they will also seek international reciprocal arrangements to increase financial returns to rights holders when their work is sold overseas in countries with established resale royalty schemes. Given the strong international interest in authentic Indigenous visual arts, this could provide artists with a valuable additional source of royalty income. There are many other measures under the plan—including professional training for those who run Indigenous art centres, and better support for artists who work independent of an Indigenous visual arts organisation— and it will be backed by an additional $5 million of funding each year. This will bring our overall support for the sector to more than $27 million each year.

Cartoon Dreams: Netflix’s Japan anime school targets booming demand
From runaway box office triumph "Demon Slayer" to recent Cannes sensation "Belle", anime has shaken off its reputation as a geeky subculture, drawing in hordes of new fans during virus lock downs.
But Japan is facing a shortage of skilled animators, in part because most face years toiling in low-paying jobs to learn the ropes, meaning much of the painstaking frame-by-frame drawing work is outsourced overseas. This problem has been going on for a while now and it is insane and hard to believe because you;d think that these amazing and hard working artists are getting paid a very generous and good amount of money off of the the anime’s that have been getting more and more known and popular as the days are going by. Especially during quarantine people started discovering what anime was, but the amount of work and sweat the animators put into those animations are insane and they deserve a much more fair check.
Tateno, who has worked on top titles from Studio Ghibli's "Spirited Away" to cult classic "Akira", has built a successful career by in-bet weening.
"This job is like weaving a rug. It's very delicate and requires patience," the anime veteran told AFP as she checked lines drawn by a student.
"Many aspiring animators want to quickly step up to a key animator position, and even if some want to specialize in in-bet weening, not many can survive.”
There's no doubt about the growing demand for animator.
Overall it is a common understanding that the animation quality goes up when a studio keeps  skilled in betweeners in their animator team, top studio’s have also started investigating  in the area, and little by the little the industry is slowly changing.

“It’s Dangerous and Difficult”
Said Artist William Kentrigde on the Challenges for Young Artists Facing quick Fame and Marker Speculation,
Throughout the interview with Mr.Kentrigde he is asked question about his life obstacles throughout working as an artist and admits that younger artist in today’s world have it more difficult and hard and we are going to talk about what he said under this specific topic.
Do you think the situation is different for young artist today from what you experience?
The interviewer asked a question that really caught the attention of William, because he had a good answer to that question,
I think it is very hard for younger artist now, said William Kentrigde. Even if you become a successful artist at a young age it can be dangerous and difficult. There’s a pressure to say “ this is what can sell, so please go on making this.” You can get trapped into quite a narrow band of what is expected of you. Putting yourself under this mindset can be very stressful and over all overwhelming. William pointed out that he went to an art school not in New York, Paris, or London...rather he went to school where he could quietly develop and and grow as an artist. It also helped him quietly develop a strange way of working with animation and figurative drawing, and all things that weren't popular at the time. During his prime early times of artistic moments he had less stress put on him because there weren't many events and conventions that he had to prepare for, for the same reason of the location and time he was in.

Challenges Facing the Art World Today
October 24, 2021
One of the most challenging problems facing the art world today would be the conflict between new global audiences of overall visually fluent people, compared to the traditional art world elites. Why i think that is because there so many ways you can come up with art. weather it’s on electronic devices to paper and pencil, and a canvas with paints. There now is a wide variety of options to choose from when it comes to art. Unfortunately though today’s values arise from consensus, and art itself is preposterously overvalued. And consensus meaning overall general agreement towards something. It is very [obvious for me to say, today that the art industry (visual art) has changed a lot and even have new methods of how to do art rather than the traditional art which is till amazing if I can say myself.
