Act 4 of The Lady : The dulcet sylph enthralls with canorous lullabies whilst she dwells in her lilliputian cottage in the midst of an efflorescence prairie.
In her grandest form, she was covered in gold, iridescent jewels flowing. In her greatest form, she was barefoot in white cotton, the river-drenched skirts and grass stains her only adornment.
With stars aglow in her eyes and a heart brimming with wanderlust, Monaviere set forth on a daring odyssey across distant shores. Guided by the whims of fate, directed her gaze towards the captivating archipelago of Indonesia. There, she sought solace she yearned for.
Arriving in the busy capital of Jakarta, Monaviere found herself mesmerized in a vibrant melange of sights, sounds, and scents. It was a city teeming with life, offering a miscellaneous of opportunities and encounters. Two years, like fleeting moments, passed by, presenting her with trials and tribulations as she wove herself into the fabric of her newfound home.
And so, in this journey, Monaviere discovered that true home resided not solely in the confines of a location, but within the embrace of kindred souls. Jakarta, with its streets and skyscrapers, had become her haven, a sanctuary where her dreams intertwined with love.
“There was about her a wildness that flashed in her eyes. She was spoiled and beautiful and easily bored. She was either fiercely excited or cool and detached.”
— Kendra Bean, from Vivien Leigh: An Intimate.
