terra's sure aqua would likely have his head for saying something so callous about their master , but it was the truth. if you asked terra , their master had been just as blind as his students were , & his blindness cost them greatly.

would you say your muse is a risk taker, or do they prefer to play it safe?

the long and the short of it really is that it depends on the scenario. for most things, i wouldn't say terra is a risk-taker so much as he is more experimental. he's open to trying new things, but not necessarily things that would put him or others in danger, it's not necessarily his idea of a good time.

now, if it comes down to life or death situations, the answer is absolutely. terra can be as reckless as they come in the pursuit of helping others, and is more than willing to put himself in danger, ignorant of any risks he may be taking or any danger he may be putting himself or others in. it's almost a fault, i would say, the way he can be single-mindedly focused on a goal and unaware of its potential consequences.

terra has to think about his answer longer than he cares to admit. on the one hand , he knows he can't stop riku from going if he wanted to , with or without his support. & terra isn't so selfish that he'd make riku give up on searching for sora , not when he knows how much sora means to riku.

but on the other hand , the idea of losing riku again , of something happening that keeps him from coming home ... terra's not sure he could cope with that level of devastation. he'd have no way of truly knowing whether or not riku was okay , or even alive.

Riku’s favourite thing to do when he was home was watch Terra in the kitchen. He always seemed to be in his element , lost in his own world without anything else to distract him. Who was Riku to interrupt?

He leaned against the doorway , arms loosely folded over his chest while his fingers twisted into Terra’s shirt. A light smile fell on his lips while aquamarine hues lay on Terra beneath freshly washed silver bangs.

his back may be to riku , but that doesn't mean that terra is unaware of the eyes on him , & he lets a small smile cross his face. he's come to enjoy being in the kitchen , it's grounding in a way , & he's more than happy to put his skills to use for the people around him.

he pauses for a moment , half tempted to throw a glance at riku over his shoulder , but decides against it for the moment , instead returning to the task at hand. his knife moves in fluid , practiced motions against the cutting board , & he grins to himself.

a chuckle , & a brief pause. sure , riku spent more time here than at his home on the islands , but it wasn't as though terra had ever officially asked riku if he wanted to move in. not wanting to seem as though he's faltered at all , he continues cutting the vegetables in front of him , sweeping the pieces into a bowl before he speaks again.
