You do not have to wait to be 'called' to worship a god.

You do not have to wait until you've seen a dozen signs or omens. You can see 100 and still feel unsure of yourself.

Desire to worship is enough.

Desire to learn from the gods is enough.

Desire to love them is enough.

If you're new to this kind of spirituality, you need to be patient with yourself and give yourself some grace. Looking for signs everywhere will tire you. It will burn you out. More than anything, if you wait to be called, you may perceive lack of communication as rejection and never pursue it at all. You don't have to miss out waiting on something. Sometimes, the initiative on your part is just calling enough. Do it. If it feels right, keep doing it.

If you have love to give, why not give it?

If you've been at this a long time, don't lose heart because you think the gods aren't paying attention. If you want to worship, DO IT. Why not?

Don't wait for signs just to second guess yourself a hundred times and never make a move.

And trust me, I understand that you're afraid of doing it wrong. Do it genuinely. Take it slow, be deliberate. You don't need to master it right away. You don't need an expensive altar. You don't need fancy candles. You don't need a statue. Don't let life pass you by waiting for the money to buy the materials you feel like you have to have in order to be respectful.

The gods don't mind if you're poor or nervous or tired, and they don't mind if you are in a living situation where you can't have those sacred spaces.

Approach. Speak. They will hear you.

Dark Lord Soma content is great but especially when he’s not even evil.

The past two games he was stressed out and pissed off, but if Dracula reawakens while he’s relatively at peace with himself I think Soma would make a Morbius joke and proceed to have a breakdown because suddenly he feels nineteen and a thousand at the same time.

He goes from confidently exclaiming how he can use all this new knowledge to lying on the floor and staring into space. He’s still Soma, he still has Soma’s memories, but he’s Dracula and has his memories too. It’s like if you gave Dracula the ability to quote vines.

Yoko is the one to find him and his first response to reassure her he isn’t dangerous is to recreate the ‘It’s a mental breakdown’ kazoo vine.

He can’t look at Julius the same because all he can think is gee its my friend who murdered me in 1999, and don’t get him started on Alucard because that is a whole other bag of worms.

He starts throwing wine glasses around, grows a fondness for the colour red, starts incorporating historical fashion into his style, gets into an argument with death about whether he’s going to murder anyone or not, maybe even starts growing facial hair much to Mina’s horror. She tries to shave him in his sleep.

Yoko absolutely starts exploiting him to win arguments because of his vast knowledge. He does not mind at all if it means Julius gets his ass beaten in a pop quiz about night creatures.

And Hammer… well he isn’t going to stop his most frequent customer from making any purchases. Besides, Dracula? Psh, Soma’s just a fluffy, flying puppy! Something he convinces himself of even when Soma jokes about setting fire to a church and almost goes through with it.

What I’m saying is evil Drac!Soma content is good, but Drac!Soma just trying to make his way the world is such a fun concept and it rotates in my brain a lot.

How to Beat the Stupid Damn Corvega Assembly Plant in 5 Minutes

In lieu of lore or meta from me today, a public service announcement.

All you will need to accomplish this task, along with your preferred method to deal with raiders, is one frag grenade. (A molotov works too, but slightly less reliably.)

STEP 1: Enter via the lobby. If you head through a door and do not see this room, turn around and leave. (This should be the first door into the plant you find if you're coming from the south.)

STEP 2: There is only one path through these lower rooms and offices, follow it (watch out for raiders) until you reach a long hallway. On the right side of the hallway, before the door to the factory floor, you will see a flight of stairs heading up. There is a crude sign of an arrow marking the way. Follow it. There are some cigarette machines and a small kitchen area on the way up the stairs.

STEP 3: You will arrive on the top floor of the factory, where Jared's room is. There are multiple raiders in this room, as well as 2 turrets. To the left, near Jared's room, you will see a row of cars hanging on some sort of machinery. Throw one grenade into this line of cars and stand clear as the chain reaction wipes out multiple raiders and possibly Jared himself, completing the quest.

If Jared does not die in the explosion, you will have to head to the left and up the catwalk to finish him off. Watch out for 2 turrets up above, and whatever of his raider buddies survived the blast (usually only 2 or 3.)

You may now continue the Minutemen questline, unlocking settlements, and the actually fun parts of the early game that lie beyond the Bleak Falls Barrow of Fallout 4.

So I’ve been playing Fallout New Vegas and I put together a board for my courier, a former tribal and filthy NCR loyalist!

If you missed it the first time around this was a pride flag in a dream I had about Fallout: New Vegas.

And you know what I’m pretty sure it’s a “”new”” version of the trans pride flag that people in the Mojave wasteland created independantly, and it specifically means trans in a “fuck you I hope you get eaten by a deathclaw” way to transmisics. It’s a symbol of solidarity and defiance, spitting in the face of anyone who tries to to control how people identify, whether they be cis or other trans people. (Yes, truscum and people who hate neopronouns, this is in fact about you. You’re just as bigoted as cis people. You being trans does not negate your bigotry towards other trans people.)

I assume they also used a different word than “trans”, but I don’t know what it was. 

If anyone’s unfamiliar with the Fallout series, Fallout: New Vegas is set in the post apocalyptic future of 2281.

Yes it’s a massive coincidance that the original trans flag even exists at all considering the timeline of the Fallout series, but IDC. The original pink, blue, and white trans pride flag was lost to the dust of history in the region for over two hundred years, found only in the memory of a few of the oldest ghouls, and seemed like it would stay that way…

Until an archaologist/historian named Wild Future unearthed a book about it, and started telling everyone who would listen, using shay skills with paint and fabric to create flags, patches, paintings, and other forms of art with it so shay could share it with the other trans people shay knew to raise awareness about their shared history. It’s proof that “trans” (or whatever they call themselves in 2281) have always existed, despite claims from assholes that it’s a new fad or a phase.

also if it needs to be said, yes, when I say trans it inherently includes nonbinary people. Nonbinary people are just as trans as binary people. I’m pretty damn certain that people say we aren’t because there’s no set direction for us to transition in, so we aren’t seen as “really trans” because people equate being trans with transitioning 100%, and that’s absolute bullshit.

You don’t need to transition to be trans. You don’t need to be out to be trans. You do not have to do anything to be trans except not identify 100% with the gender you were assigned at birth. That’s it. If you aren’t 100% cis? You are trans, no matter what bigots have to say about it. Congrats.
