So, after working on it the last few days, you can imagine my horror when I discovered in just a few minutes the first iteration got corrupted. That time, it was my fault, but I began remaking it today (with shorter autosave, even) and it corrupted once again. I'm not gonna let it happen a third time to get confirmation, so it looks like I'm just not doing any digital art until I can access my PC. (I lost the power cord, so I've been using my phone and display tablet for a minute now. It's very painstaking without a physical keyboard, but I was determined..) I can't be certain it isn't a sudden problem with the device itself, and I don't want to risk losing any of my other WIPs.

I don't know if I'm supposed to take this as a sign or something. Pretty disheartening, because I was somewhat proud of having the guts to start over. Wish I had better news. Sorry. Paper it is, then.

I do have birthday art to post for mister chief man, late as usual 😅 (maybe 60-70% done so far). I'll put it up as soon as it's finished of course. Love to see the fandom unite like this 🫶 🐉

Why're they just...white?? Was it that much trouble to add some pigment into them??

#never liked how the main cast dragons looked in the series #they fit better in rob/dob bc they were redesigned in account of that #but then rtte brings in all those crazy shaders and it really emphasizes how washed out they look #he was such a rich gorgeous black and then they made him that dull blue-grey impostor :(

And if I say everything? Honestly, I love all of him, his personality, his life, everything he has done, all of his unbelievable achievements and every funny little gesture he makes, i love his fluffy looking hair, his beautiful and wonderfully green eyes, his cute nose, the incredible amount of freckles on his face, the tiny braids in his hair, the little scar on his chin, I love his smile, I love the way he talks and uses body language, I love how funny and sassy he is, how kind and compassionate he is, as well as brave. I love how smart he is, inventing and creating things and ideas that don’t even exist in this time, how strong he is, having the strength to push through and forget about everything he was taught all his life to save the life of a dragon, and to stand against his father and entire village just to prove to them that dragons weren’t what they made them out to be. I love how good of a friend he is to Toothless, how he chats with him and plays with him, and how they do everything together. I love how amazing of a leader, chief, friend, son and father he is. I love his soul and his heart. I love his story and everything he stands for. He is an incredible person.
