“Right.” Like that answers his question.

“Small spot here that wasn’t welded.” Void spoke, showing the other the bar. “Top part of the bar is connected to the frame but seems this bit was ignored or forgotten.” He looks around for anything that could be useful but spots nothing.

“I might be able to try something? Then again it could go badly.” If he wanted to help this guy escape he’ve have to use magic and pretend like doing so was difficult.

He notes the other’s uncertainty, laughing softly when asked such a question. “Not unless you give me a reason to.” Void flashes the other a sharp grin before returning to looking. “What was it you stole anyways? This seems a bit much for petty theft.”

He wonders if helping the other escape would be a good idea, wonders if whoever trapped the other would come after him for helping. Not that he was worried. If anything the thought was exciting. “Ah, found something.“

“Really?” He grins widely at him, quickly pulling his phone out to set the reminder. “I’ll be sure to grab a ticket quick as I can then. Thanks for the heads up man.” The device is soon pocketed as he looks back to Piers to listen. “I’m sure it’ll be a fun concert, as always.”

Void perks up at the offer, humming. “I wouldn’t mind if you’re sure about me joining.” He had been thinking about getting a bite to eat and having company wouldn’t be a bad idea.

He notices the other relax and feels relieved the change of topic was a good call.

“Yeah? I’ll have to get tickets once they to on sale.” Void made a mental note to keep an eye out so he didn’t miss the chance. “It’s been a bit since I got to go to one of your concerts so it’ll be nice to see you in action again.”
