Death Note Inspired ‘Curse Book‘

So, I really like Anime. Death Note is one of my favorite series, so I decided to create this little curse book spell. ^_^ It’s not a killing type of curse, more of a minor inconvenience type of thing.  

What you’ll need:

1 black notebook

1 black pen

1 white candle

Predrawn curse sigil of your choice

Take the notebook, and draw your curse sigil on the front and back inside covers. (I recommend setting up prior and post curse protections, just in case.)

On the first page, write down what this curse book does, and what it is for. You can write it on the inside of the cover next to your sigil, much like the actual death note. Here’s something you might write as the ‘instructions and use’ portion. It’s directly based off of the death note’s ‘how to use’ piece in the beginning.

1. Whoever has their name written in this book is cursed with minor inconveniences. These inconveniences include bad luck, loss of funds, and lack of motivation among other things, some more intense than others.

2. The witch has to pour energy and intent into the name to activate the curse, and this book will not work unless the energy that is directed towards the specific person is intense and passionate. 

3. If a particular is curse is needed, the witch may write it down within 40 seconds to manifest it. More energy is required to curse in this way, as you cannot use previous stores of energy as easily. 

4. The worst the curse book can do is cause major inconveniences like job hindrance, marriage issues, or things of that nature. The lucky witch-angerers get mere things like losing shoes or forgetting their keys in the house as it rains. 

5.The length of the curse should be specified within 6 minutes and 40 seconds. It can last a few hours, or forever. The curse will be stronger in concentrated amounts, rather than long time spans. It can also be planned to manifest on certain dates. 

My example is very specific and took a long time to become a well-working curse book; three months. But now I can use it whenever I want, and it is very helpful with people who are pesky and rude and terrible in a very mundane way. 

I don’t think the time additions I made are very effective, but I wanted to keep with the Death Note theme, so I didn’t omit them from the directions or anything. It’s a good way for me to focus if nothing else.

After you’ve designed your ‘rules’, draw a circle in the middle of a page. Begin pouring angry, hot energy into it, and create a ‘reserve’ for any time you need a boost of your own emotion. I personally like doing this, but it isn’t necessary if it doesn’t sound like your thing.

I like to define all of the different curses I can choose from and write down short things about each of them. They’re really simple at times, and intricate for others. Do what feels right and be creative.

I light a white candle when I finish to eat away any negative energy lingering on me, or my room. Sometimes I’ll burn a protection sigil or one to activate the curse book. I’ve made three now, so I have a lot of the kinks worked out, but not all of them quite yet. I still haven’t found a good way to keep my energy levels up after the cursing has been done.

Use your new curse book whenever you want to do a small spell against someone. I store mine in a black bag covered by a clear quartz so none of that curse energy gets out to manifest itself in my life. Try not to use it too often, since it can be very draining, and semi-weakening in my experience.

Khan's Punishment Curse

This is an emotion-driven curse designed to punish those who have pushed you too far. The extent of the punishment is entirely up to you.

Materials:

- Clay or Play-doh - Pen or Pencil - Lots of anger - Black marker

Procedure:

1. Shape your clay or play-doh into a person’s head. If you’re feeling creative you can give it a few facial features. While you won’t actually be crushing someone’s physical head in this curse, it’s a good representation for what you’ll be crushing later.

2. With the tip of your pen or pencil carve the person’s name on the forehead of your model.

3. Write what you wish to crush all over the rest of the model. e.i: their dreams, friendships, home life, physical health, etc. The list is endless, and the more angry you are while doing this the more you’ll get out of it. (Note: If you write “their heart” the most you’ll probably give them is a metaphorical broken heart. I highly doubt this curse is strong enough to kill anyone.)

4. Let the model sit for a few hours so that it can harden enough to cause some resistance. Resistance will force you to use more strength and put more anger into the crushing.

5. Using your black marker, write some of the things your target has done to you on both your hands. Anything that has fueled your anger toward them is perfect.

6. When the model is hard enough, take it between both your hands, placing your written-over palms against the model’s face, and pour all of your rage into their face. Spit these words out like acid:

“You should have let me sleep!”

7. Crush that son of a bitch between your palms.

8. Throw the remains out. They’ve been dealt with and now you can move on…until the next person comes along and awakens the beast.

🎀 “Tag, You’re It” Hex 🎀

For when you need to throw harm inflicted on you back to the offender and restore balance.

Inspired by Melanie Martinez’s song “Tag, You’re It”.

Items:

A Mirror

One White Candle

One Black Candle

A Sigil, (such as this one)

Sea Salt

Dried Thyme

A Writing Utensil (preferably a marker)

Directions:

Draw your chosen sigil onto the center of your mirror. Add the name of the offender at the bottom of the sigil.

Cover the sigil in a sprinkling of dried thyme and sea salt.

Stand your candles on the mirror at either side of the sigil (it helps to lean taper candles toward the sigil).

Light your black candle, then your white candle.

Let the melting wax from your candles completely cover the sigil. Do not distinguish them before the sigil is covered.

Smother the flames to extinguish them or let the candles burn completely.

If you can manage it, separate the dried melted wax from the mirror. Keep it until balance is restored.

An orange, lemon, and lime spell to break a hex or curse

What you need 1 orange 1 lime 1 lemon 1 sharp knife 1 paper bag 1 jug

Do this on a Saturday morning

- cut each piece of fruit into quarters, first the orange then the lime then lemon. -rub the 12 segments of fruit in turn, first over your right palm and then over your left Palm. Say for each, so I remove all nastiness and I’ll intent from me. -now take each segment as before and squeeze it hard in the jug. Say the same spell words for each. -drop the drained segments into the paper bag and close it. Say: Your power to reach me with your bad intent is dried up, spent. You trouble me no more. -pour the jug of juice down the sink with the faucet running and the plug out say: your power to reach me with your bad intent is washed away, spent you trouble me no more. -when the jug is empty, turn off the tap and let the jug dry upside down. -throw the paper bag in the garbage bin outside your home.

“Need That Money” Money Spell

A spell to get money in a time of need.

What You’ll Need

Mortar and pestle

A green candle

Monopoly money or a drawn money note

A paintbrush

Mint leaves

Nutmeg

Cinnamon

Sun water

This sigil

“Money comes to me.”

What To Do

Light your candle.

Put your mint leaves, cinnamon, and nutmeg.

Muddle the contents for as long as you see fit.

Add 2 tablespoons of sun water into the mortar and muddle the mix further until you have a sort of paste.

Burn the money note to ashes (carefully) and add them to the paste and muddle the paste until the ashes are mixed in. 

Take the paintbrush and “paint” the paste onto your windowsills and doorways while saying/thinking “I ask for money in this time of need to get me by, to help me survive.” as many times as you wish.

Then, take the paintbrush again and “paint” the sigil with the paste on your bedroom door.

Blow out the candle.
