i don't even really care about the writers much. but it's so offensive to the writers to say dean isn't queer when we know they (not all but definitely some!) tried so hard to put as much subtext in spn as possible, which we KNOW wasn't easy - and misha confirmed this. destiel isn't even what made him queer, but it is what makes it undeniable even if you try to ignore other evidence. they checked every romantic trope in the book. and not of an unrequited love, no. both sides. every fucking trope.

and frankly (and more importantly) it’s offensive to queer people recognizing what was deliberately written to be interpreted as queer. like we’re stupid, like we don’t deserve this, like a love like that can't blossom in the most dire or unlikely circumstances. please.
