Violent Care

It was silent for only a moment after the job finished. Gavin stood with a triumphant smile, hands on his hips. “I told you it would work,” he said.

Ryan narrowed his eyes at him. “Car. Now,” he stated, without so much as another word, Ryan was in the car with a defeated looking Gavin getting in beside him. ”Rye bread,” Gavin started with a pout. Ryan held up his hand to silence him.

It was a long and silent ride home with Gavin stirring a little. He was scared of what would happen when they got back, and rightfully so. After what seemed like an eternity of an elevator ride, they were in the pernthouse.

“You idiot! Why would you do that? You could have died!” Ryan’s hands slammed into Gavin’s shoulders, shoving him, but Gavin quickly fought back and shoved him with equally as much force. “If I hadn’t have done it you would have died,” Gavin shouted at him, his tone more forceful than normal.

All it took was that one statement from Gavin, and bam, Ryan had punched him. Gavin’s body fell to the floor but he looked up with a smirk. “If you’re going to hit me, love,” Gavin says, heaving himself to his feet and wiping away the blood from his freshly split lip, “At least hit me harder than that.” He was suddenly more confident, he knew why Ryan was so worked up now.

Ryan shoved Gavin back onto the floor once he had begun getting up and he dropped to his knees beside him. “Don’t do that again, I can’t lose you,” he murmured. Gavin sat up and wrapped his arms around Ryan.

This was their relationship. It wasn’t abusive it was a mutual thing to get an idea across. Both of them were fine with it, knowing this was the easiest way to get the other to see reason.

Gavin stayed in Ryan’s arms, both sitting on the floor. Strings of “I love you”s were said before Ryan stopped Gavin’s endless confessions of love with a kiss.

“And I love you. My idiotic, British, golden boy.”
