Today on "I thought this was normal but turns out its probably not" apparently numbers aren't supposed to jump around and switch places when you look at them? And people can just look at like a stack of books and be like 'yep there's 7 of them' without having to point at and count each individual book to know how many there are?? Yall can take 4 and 6 and just like ???squish them??? And it makes 10??? Without counting up from 6??? You just SKIP all the other numbers???????

Insight on oracle or light

Still don’t have much planned for Oracle yet, but I do have to say that Light’s family is alive and well, and that Aspen isn’t gonna vibe when they get to the AoC era

Maybe oracle or curly?and a little on their backstory since we dont know much in game(specially oracle)

I don’t really have much planned for Oracle yet, other than the fact that he’s inherited the family orchard, but as for Curly, I have been thinking about his backstory for days.

So there’s a bunch of theories that the Link from the original games, wasn’t from the kingdom of hyrule(I think that in some of the older comics it was a kingdom called Calatia or something similar), and in Curly’s case, it’s kinda correct. Curly lived in the outer limits of a nearby kingdom in a smaller farming village (similar to Ordon!). His parents were Hylian, and lived in the castle town before Ganon took over and everything went to shit. After that, they moved in hopes of keeping their son far away from all that.

When Curly was around four, their village had been attacked by Ganon’s monsters, and in the mess, Curly got separated and lost in the nearby woods. Sometime after that, they’d been found by a group of travelers, who sorta took him in. These travelers were mainly teenagers and younger adults, and two of them in particular(a pair of siblings who had lost their own younger brother just years earlier) were mostly responsible for young Curly.

When Curly was around nine, the travelers settled in one of the kingdom’s villages and Curly lived there for a while (and he still visits them frequently!).

Roughly a year and a half later, his first adventure starts. And when he’s taking breaks, they vibe with the secret moblin (who becomes a parental figure to Curly)

Jello!i just found your blog and it seems super interesting,and i noticed some things i liked from the start with this:

-oracle of ages is different from link to the past,which i admire,i find that most people mush the two together,and im glad to see im not the only one out of the linkverse community to have them seperate.(mostly since i love the oracle from my au)

-you included links with very little information,which can lead to very interesting characters,mostly because you don’t have much canon info to say otherwise,which can lead to creative ideas!i can’t wait to see what you do with these characters.

Those are the two main things i liked,one being mostly personal,other being from a storytelling perspective.im exited to see what you do with this au!

thanks! i definitely like having oracle and pink as different links, mainly because the timeline can get messy, and it makes sense to me for them to be different people lol

and yeah, i like not having a lot of information on the characters, because then i can do whatever i want to lol

Without me none of you would have had to go on traumatizing adventures. Crimson thought to himself. But he smiled and nodded. “Of course. Thank you, Pink.”

“Anytime.” Pink offered a smile. “Now, I’m gonna go help Aspen set up their hammock before any of my kids try to wheedle it away from him.” Pink brushed non-existent dust from his tunic before marching off in the direction of the cook. 

So now Crimson sat alone on the nightly watch. Fi, who rested across his knees, was completely silent. 

He frowned.

Would they all have met Ravio?

At some point, yes. I think that other than Mask, Ravio would get along great with the heroes, even if he’d try to scam them all lol. Chaos ensues

What's Aspen and Light's dynamic like?

They didn’t like each other at first. They thought it was odd that they both had to go on a quest, and interacting with yourself from a different time must be odd already. Eventually, though they will get along and cause problems (I’m picturing their dynamic sorta like my older cousins. They’re brothers and they’re really close in age, and when they do stuff together it’s chaotic, and that’s basically what Aspen and Light end up like)

Zelda from LOZ is gonna be nicknamed Zel, and Zelda from AOL is nicknamed Reve. They had chosen these nicknames after Reve was woken up, and she chose Reve because it means ‘dream’ and she was asleep for so long that she must have had some weirds dreams even if she can’t remember them.

This is very important how do the links wear their hats if they wear them at all

Oh absolutely. I haven’t thought about hats all that much, but so far I think that HW Link (I’m not set on a name for him yet,) Worlds, Curly, Pink, and Engineer all regularly wear their hats. Engineer has the funky little hat he wears in the beginning of spirit tracks, Curly has to keep adding patches to his hat because it keeps tearing(mainly it catches on monster’s claws when he gets attacked in his world), and Pink likes to wear his bc his ears are always cold. All of the other Links have their hats, and they will all don their hats when it’s cold outside, and since the weather can be unpredictable, Eventide (tp link, I wrote the wrong name at first) will tuck his hat into the belt of the outfit he normally wears (which is gonna be his normal ordanian outfit with some modifications)
