It’s about time he snagged some attention.

Ixi huffed, half in victory and half in stubborn frustration. Normally, he would shift to his human form in order to have a formal talk with any potential colleagues. However, the fox decided to Orochi’s maw with it and stretched his body out comfortably on the floor, Kitsune always had the ability to speak in their fox forms anyway. Even if such weren’t a common practice in effort to hide themselves.

“This is fine, though a scratch behind the ears never hurt anyone.” only partly joking, of course. “I’ve had some inquiries for you for quite a while, but I could never seem to get time with you ‘till now.”

“Madness in the methods, Eh? I suppose such are dangerously contagious.”

The trickster should be counting his lucky stars that he wasn’t eaten yet, really.

“Well. That much should be obvious. I am a fox, after all.”

Rubbing on one of his ears to further drive the point home (he never truly hid his ears from the world, simply because he felt more comfortable with them out.) Ixi sniffed the air... Not quite as stagnant as he thought it’d be either.

“I’ve heard our good ol’ insane lord of terror decided to use his actual body to look about the world for once. Had to check it out for myself.”

Even though he’s always called a snake, this body doesn’t look much like one. Snout seemed much too long for a snake.

The fox taps his chin, taking in the beast’s presence. Whether it annoyed Orochi that he was ignoring the intimidation the larger was trying to pull off or not, in all honesty, didn’t currently matter to Ixi.

That snake sure is an interestin’ one.

( @oneiseight ): The one I was speaking to earlier today... Sure does have an ego, but he absolutely had great power to him to back it up. Should I be glad he has no idea who I am? Kiiyune or not, I can still die. Though he’s only got the power of a demon so he’s likely to die out one day if nobody makes a winnin’ attempt to kill him.

( @shintoisms ): I actually don’t know much on that one. From the gossip I’ve been listenin’ to, this one ain’t so bad... He’s got his bad streaks, but this one’s actually just supposed to be a demon? So at least this one won’t be so hard to kill.

( @serpentsxshadow ): This one’s the one I know best. Not for any morally good reasons, though. This Orochi is not only a shinto god, but he’s pretty well known for killing one of his brothers and wearing his corpse as a human guise. I’ve heard rumors that he’s killed his other brother, but I haven’t really heard that from any fellow foxes so there’s hope in that. I still gotta be concious with this one ruling our realm, damn snake has driven the whole mystic realm insane. Maybe if it weren’t for him I wouldn’t have had to do what I did to that old ruler of Hanaka village.
