Her speaking voice has always been husky, years of forcing her vocal chords to reach that perfect pitch, but it doesn't even give, simply fading, fading until there's nothing but silence. A translucent hand grasps her throat and that's when she realises what's happening.

Dreams are delicate, ephemeral things after all.

She didn't even get to tell them her real name; Amami. And now she'll never be able to.

Goodbyes are not Lenneth's strong suit, there's always something left unsaid, words that were never spoken, so many things she wants to do. She's not good with them. She hates them. She'll never say 'goodbye' preferring to say 'see you later' or something like that. When she fades, because she's a dream, so she will, she leaves another thousand things left unsaid and to her that's worse than anything else.

A hyuran songstress, Amami, better known as Lenne or Lenneth is somewhat well-known, having spent the majority of her life singing in taverns. Born in Ul'Dah, raised in Limsa Lominsa and a talented summoner who most people assume is a dancer. Is it friends to lovers if Fang seems to constantly be stuck saving her or is it more a rescue romance? Either way, cute. Lenne's never been in a proper relationship, whether it's the stardom or the fact she's never felt 'real', as she tends to not even go by her real name.

But Fang's real, there's probably a lot of admiration there even if Fang wasn't constantly saving her dumb ass from dangerous situations. I think they'd have an interesting dynamic since Fang's clearly a lot more secure in herself than Lenne is, and that admiration turning into something else that Lenne can't spit out because she's a disaster of a not quite human being? I can see her kind of spitting it out on accident one day haha. It writes itself, doesn't it?

I love all of Lenne's friendships of circumstance because they're all so different, but also hilarious to explain. Dream of the fayth who randomly landed in Spira, meet tailor with no memories of his past who also randomly landed in Spira. What could possibly go wrong there? You know, except everything. Especially given they're both support type characters so probably have a rough time with fiends, but that just makes the adventure all the more fun, doesn't it?

Tay's definitely the more serious of the two, with Lenneth trying to make their whole adventure more light-hearted, but I see them bonding over both not knowing who they really are and being strangers to Spira together. I hope he never asks her to explain how dresspheres work because quite frankly, she does not know and is scared to ask. But also wants to use 'em.

I like to joke that any kind of relationship with Lenne is one of circumstances due to the fact she's been literally dreamed up but a friendship between a singer who's actually a dream and a person who's a bit otherworldly is a friendship of circumstance if I've ever seen one! Does that mean they can't be close? Hell no. Does it mean trying to explain their friendship to people is hilarious? Probably.

But both relating to only being able to show parts of themselves to the world despite appearing like positive people? Bonding over a love of music and the arts? I can see Lenne really being amazed by Zora's artistic streak, she probably thinks they're really talented, she's definitely the more upfront buddy, I wouldn't blame Zora if they found her a bit annoying sometimes though.
