Minecraft ditches Super Duper graphics plan

Minecraft will be keeping its block-based look for the foreseeable future , as plans to upgrade its graphics are canceled.
Mojang, a Minecraft developer, announced that it had stopped development on the Super Duper graphics package for the game.
The pack would have provided realistic lighting effects, textures and overall better graphics.
The pack proved too complex, so it was thrown out.
'Disappointing'
The idea to make Minecraft appear more realistic was announced in 2017 at the E3 games show. Minecraft-texture-packs.net The ambitious plan was to develop a downloadable add-on that completely replaces the blocky, basic look of the game that is so popular.
In 2017, Mojang said its work will also produce an add-on for the Xbox version of Minecraft that allows the game to run at a resolution of 4K on the console.
The Super Duper addon was originally planned to launch in the fall of 2017. However, the release date was changed to 2018, which was then moved to. The addon was then canceled completely in the year 2019.
The technical demands of the update have proven to be too much, the update was said in a brief apology.
It read: "We are sorry for your disappointment. There was a lot of enthusiasm for Super Duper both inside and outside the studio, however we are not happy with the performance of the pack across all devices."
Mojang has also announced that it is not finished with enhancing the appearance of Minecraft on different gaming devices and promised to share more details in the near future.
