Tucked away in a rather slim but wide box in Sal's cubicle, is a three piece outfit. Tailored pants with a loose fit around the hips and flared at the bottom, a plain shirt with a smooth texture to it(possibly a silk and cotton mix)and a jacket with a hood. A nice balance appealing to Sal's casual style, but with a little subtle flair from just one specific person.

It wouldn’t take a genius to figure out who left him a gift like this- clothing that he could wear and be comfortable but still didn’t look as ‘horrible’ as his usual wear. He offers a slight hum to the air and wonders why he didn’t just give him the gift in person. Oh well, he’d just leave his friends gift outside his ‘door’ as well, he supposed. He reminded himself to offer Dashi a ‘thank you’ later as well.

Honestly, old-fashion was not the best way to describe Roy, but it worked. He really wished the kid was easier to think about, but eh, you couldn’t win them all. He stopped and chuckled nervously at the concept of time healing the issues between him and his friends. He severely doubted that actually, but he wouldn’t spill his guts to his closest friends, so it wasn’t like he was suddenly obligated to tell someone else.

“Yeah, I’m not very comfortable with that, linda, but I guess time’s what it needs.”

Which was ironic, considering he had packed up and came to the Temple in the first place. Though, maybe Sal was over-exaggerating the child’s bad qualities, he wasn’t quite sure. He and Roy were about as far as they could be from each other, yet somehow were still friends. He considered all the other monks friends anyways, recently he wasn’t sure if they felt the same.

“I, um, s’a long story but I broke the trust between us. I’m trying to fix it but he… holds quite a grudge.”

“So he’s old fashioned?”

Omi’d been a little like that when she’d first met him-concerned with doing things the traditional way. He had old fashioned views when he met her too, certainly. The other Xiaolin monks, especially the older ones, still were uptight and traditional, which wasn’t exactly their fault… Given they lived in the middle of practically no where. That didn’t make it okay for Kimiko, though, and sometimes her patience was tested to extremes with their shenanigans and all she had to deal with when it came to them.

“You probably don’t want to get into that story, I’m assuming? I guess the only thing that’ll heal that is time.”
