So, I’m back around for the next week or so, though I’m probably going to be working on setting up a multi for this fandom since I’ve been feeling a little burnt out on this game still, so I figure it might be easier to have everything on one blog. I’m not dropping anything and everything in my drafts will be shifted to that blog to answer, which counts for all my active FC blogs. However, if anybody’s wondering about a thread or wanting to drop anything, feel free to drop by my IMs or shoot me a message on Discord.

watching and / or reading rn: P/reacher, for the most part, as I’m catching up. As for reading, Far Cry: Absolution, I guess. I’m not reading a lot these days. 

ideal superpower: Something like flight or element manipulation. 

animal you would want to be turned into: A mountain goat. They always seem so majestic to me. 

fictional character you would most like to meet irl: I’m going to be boring and honestly say I don’t know. 

book/show/movie you loved as a kid and still love today: The Land Before Time. Granted, I only rewatched the first movie but I know as a kid I remember very clearly that my parents would put those movies on a lot because I would always want to watch them. lol  book/show/movie you think is underappreciated: Damnation. 

favorite thing to do on a rainy day: Sleep. Crack open a window and nap, if life allows.  favorite season: Summer, though Canada has Winter, Muddy Winter, Fire, and Autumn.  favorite holiday: Halloween.

   WITH A LOW WHISTLE, Itsuki would gently clap her hands together in an attempt to call REX back over. Reacting near instantly, he would leave the bro’s side and began to cheerfully trot back over to where she stood. Directing an affectionate smile down towards him, her gaze would soon enough raise to meet with the man himself. Her dog’s passive nature a clear sign itself that he would mean no harm, it was then that she would begin to approach him herself, with of course, her baby following close by.

   “Heh, sure is, bro!” A tilt of her lips was but offered, especially as her dog began wagging his tail as they both went back to him, “Aww… looks lahk he lahks ye. Thank ye so much fer watchin’ o’er him while ah was away!”

     Mark wasn't exactly a dog person—not out and proud, at least. Still, he didn't mind having the dog following him around for most of the day, it reminded him of his family's dog when he was a kid, following around at his heels—minus the, uh, biting. He gave her a quick smile in return, scratching the dog behind the ear somewhat once the two of them had approached him.

     “More like he watched after me. He have a name?” he asked, “He's a friendly guy, I thought he would've run off after I tossed him some food earlier on.”

      That or he was waiting for more cookies. Mark couldn't blame him.

❛  i know her enough to realize she needed help . she needed security and comfort and there was something inside of her !! that begged for it .    fists curl against chest , holding them tightly ,  ❛  there was something broken in her soul , her heart and we’re repairing it . you think you’d be happy for her . hm ?  ❜  a sly expression as eyes lift from the glowing screen of the phone , judging the other .   ❜  a chuckle , shake of his head as he offered him a quick view of one of the images . it was his sister , laughing down by the river . she was a cultist now , surrounded by them . bags under her eyes dark , red rimmed . drugged .  john had purposely taken that picture earlier and placed it onto his phone . 

❛  envious that she has a family now that truly cares about her . envious of myself of course that i have her now , she’s mine . envious of faith - faith who had gotten her to blossom as lovely and vibrant as those of the bliss flowers themselves .  ❜  a brief pause as fingertips touch to chest  before flattening . his palm began to roll in a small circle as he considered .  ❛  concern ? where was that concern when she was going through her hardships mark ? i mean , do you   truly   know your sister ?  and if you did , then why is she even here ?  ❜  

     —It's a fucking chemical.

     If being freed from those 'chains of emotional oppression' meant lack of emotional response to...anything, really, then John was on point about that. Considering he had little to no knowledge of what happened to get him in this place, he was pretty sure that ' freeing agent' was doing its job. Had been, he guessed. This was the most sober he felt in a couple days. He knew this...atonement was something he was probably going to witness first hand, which he gathered would be terrible, but John just had to dig his fingers in the wound.

     He wanted to tune him out, but more talk of his sister came up, Mark's attention caught as he watched him. Talking so casually, scrolling through his phone. His gut was twisting, the hold on his arms straining somewhat, his shoulder starting to ache. The more John spoke, the more Mark was gaining some understanding on how Linny had fallen into his trap. His way is the best way, anything thought otherwise was cause for GUILT—he should be happy for her. Mark wanted to punch him so badly it HURT. Mark set him with a stare as John finally looked up, finally he turned the phone around and held the screen out in front of his face.

     The light made Mark's eyes ache, causing him to squint slightly, but the image registered almost instantly in his mind. His expression fell somewhat, taking it in, that twisting in his gut only getting worse. She looked like she did at the river—was probably as out of it as she was then, too. He listened as John continued to talk, knowing he really shouldn't, considering he was growing steadily close to breaking whatever composure he was trying to keep.

     What the hell happened to make her do this? He knew she was struggling with something, but, fuck—THIS??

     “You—You DON'T know her. That's NOT her. She's a shell. You and your fucked up family took advantage of her problems, and you want to turn that on ME? You put her on the same drug you dosed me with and I'm supposed to believe it's helped her? Go fuck yourself.”

OPINION ON TRUE LOVE // It’s hard to say, as the definition of what true love is changes from person to person. If it’s supposed to be this grand love that sweeps you off your feet, he doesn’t really believe in that, as it’s never happened to him. He’s loved a couple of his past relationship partners, but it’s never felt exactly like that. He firmly believes that there will be a lull in the relationship and if feelings persist, that’s something he’d call close to true love. 

OPINION ON LOVE AT FIRST SIGHT // It’s a nice concept, but no. He’ll like someone’s first impression, sure, but that’s exactly what it is. 

HOW ‘ROMANTIC’ ARE THEY // He can be if he tries, but it doesn’t come easily to him. Mark will probably click better with someone who’s more laid back about dates, etc. Though, if he knows his partner likes that stuff, he’ll make an effort in his own way. So, don’t expect anything grand. lol 

IDEAL PHYSICAL TRAITS // Doesn’t particularly have any? He would probably get along better with someone who’s also fairly active, since he’s mostly out and about, but that wouldn’t be a huge turn off if someone was more laid back than him. 

IDEAL PERSONALITY TRAITS // Friendliness is a thing, not just to him but other people. He values honesty and openness about what’s happening in a relationship, if something isn’t working out or needs to change, he wants to hear about it. A sense of humor is good, though he leans more toward sardonic so he’s likely to enjoy that type of humor more.  

UNATTRACTIVE PHYSICAL TRAITS // It’s kind’ve the same with the above answer about this. Outside of consistent poor hygiene, there’s not much he can list.  

UNATTRACTIVE PERSONALITY TRAITS // Mark isn’t good at reading and reacting to passive aggressiveness, if something he’s done is bothering someone, he just wants to hear it plainly. He’s okay with more closed off or reserved people, as he’s similar in way, but overly mysterious or distant people aren’t really his cup of tea. Arrogance is a bit of a turn off. 

IDEAL DATE // He’s pretty laid back about dates. He’s largely someone who enjoys being outside, so something in nature or doing some physical activity would probably keep him more engaged than being tucked away inside somewhere. However, he’s able to do that, too. As long as he can get to know someone, he’s alright with whatever, really. 

DO THEY HAVE A TYPE // He meshes well with people who have a similar personality to him, but other than that he kind of lets this stuff land where it lands. 

AVERAGE RELATIONSHIP LENGTH // It fluctuates. His longest has been two years. 

PREFERRED NON-SEXUAL INTIMACY // Drinking? Though, he actually likes to wander around, so hanging out with him for a day will usually put him in high spirits. 

COMMITMENT LEVEL //  If he’s in, he’s in. However, he’s pretty aware of his own feelings in a relationship and he likely isn’t going to stay if he feels like it won’t work out. 

OPINION OF PUBLIC AFFECTION // He’s fine with it. If you kiss him in public, hold his hand, hug him, etc, he isn’t going to hate you for it.

Her smile grew as he accepted her offer on the ride. She motioned for him to follow her to her pick-up and began to walk casually to the drivers side. She would definitely get some harassment from Pratt and Hudson about this, but she would just have to take it. 

“Don’t worry about it. We haven’t been as busy as people think, and Pratt can handle the night shift a little early. Beside I’m off in an hour anyway.” She chuckled as she slipped into her seat and pushed open the passenger door from Mark. She started the truck, the old thirty’s music comes softly through the speakers. 

“Besides, it’s part of my job to help those in need.” She joked with quotations around the last of her words. She could see Mark being a very capable person, though she had her reasons for worry, more than just catching him out of the bar. 

     “Yeah, I imagine,” he replied somewhat dryly, but found a small smile tugging at his lips.

     He was...far from impressed with the police force lately, but they did what they could around town. However, it didn't stop him from witnessing some...very odd things from time to time. Entirely legal? He wasn't sure, but it wasn't his job to figure that out. He always figured a night shift would be busy, but he guess that wasn't the case this time.

     Mark climbed into the truck with a little wobble—he had been drinking. Still, he seemed more tired than anything. He shot her a look out of the corner of his eye at the 'in need' comment, a retort coming up but he bit it back. Piper was just trying to help, even if it wasn't in the way he needed or wanted. He knew his mother would've probably hit him upside the head for not being more friendly already, but he couldn't help the lingering bitterness.

     “...They still calling you rookie? I feel like I've been seeing you around town for...longer than that, at least.”

They need enemies that break them and force them to test their morals.

They need friends that will backstab them and hurt their feelings.

They need an enemy that will become a friend.

They need friends that they would lay down their life for.

They need people so close to them that they might as well be siblings.

They need fights and conflict and battles that could leave them broken and inches from death.

My character does not just need lovers.

          After  sitting  a  cup  of  coffee  down  in  front  of  the  man,  Mary  May  slides  into  the  same  booth  in  front  of  him.  Hands  fold  together  as  she  eyes  him  for  a  few  moments  before  saying  anything.  Something  just  isn’t  right.  “Everything  okay,  Mark?  I’ve  tried  to  hold  my  tongue  for  a  few  days  now,  but  you  just  ain’t  seemed  like  yerself.  So  are  ya  gonna  tell  me  what’s  eatin  ya  or  do  I  have  to  beat  it  outta  you?” 

     The coffee brought him out of his stupor, his gaze shifting from the patterns on the back of the booth across from him to Mary May as she sat herself down across from him. With a small sigh through his nose, he reached out and took the offered coffee, giving her a nod in thanks before he took a sip from it. Her question brought some of the focus back into his gaze, Mark placing the cup back down on the table, drumming on the side of it with his fingers for a few moments before he leaned back somewhat.

     “It's a—family thing. I don't know...” he bit at the inside of his bottom look as he looked around the bar for a few moments before meeting her gaze again, “Linny's...acting strange. Disappearing for days at a time, doesn't really tell us what she's doing when she's back. Usually it's me doing that, but... maybe I'm being paranoid. Something just feels off.”
