aleks has N E V E R dreaded a dare so much in his entire twenty years. he supposes it’s bizarre — – he’s ready to risk his LIFE ( ! ) during dares but this, these few syllables have tormented him ever since cocoa hues d a r e d to gaze over them. it’s IMPOSSIBLE to back out now, but he can’t help but hope, desperate & desolate, that alina knows, that she UNDERSTANDS & he supposes it might give it away, but he’s compelled, in the ( calm before the damned storm ), to slowly & purposefully push his glasses up, resting atop his head now. ( he NEVER wears his glasses on a dare ; he can only h o p e that alina recognises his simple gesture. ) “ babe, there’s something i NEED to tell you & it … it can’t wait. ” phone resting nonchalant against the couch, it almost HURTS to spit his next vocables. “ i … i’ve been cheating on you, okay ? jeg beklager, engel … i didn’t mean to do this to you. i never wanted to hurt you. ”

naive alina had her doubtful thoughts about everything, including this relationship. but not in a bad way , NEVER in a bad way. what they had was amazing, it was so good, she sometimes worried it was TOO GOOD. because he was, he was all she ever wanted, all ANYONE could wish for. sometimes she thought this was all a sweet dream. hearing these words broke her HEART. was she not good enough? was she too bossy? did she do anything wrong? tears rolling down her rosy cheeks. she looked at his beautiful face, not even noticing his glasses pushing up. “tuller du? when? who? why?” she said, almost unable to speak, so many questions going through her mind.
