Ralsei was horrified. He was as blind as a bat without his glasses! Knowing how brutish Susie was, who knows if there was even a hint of a chance if he could get them back. And he whined when she said she could break them. He winced, waiting for the terrible crunching sound.

Except it never came. They dropped within his view and he scrambled to reclaim them. They were a little dusty, but he could see just fine. Once they were situated on his face, he looked up to Susie with a meek smile.

*Thank you for not crushing them!

Well THIS was mighty... unsettling.

This didn’t seem like normal Dark world flora. The fact that it seemed to be able to talk reassured no one. He carefully stepped towards it, fixing his glasses to look at it better.

*Ah, mister Rouxls!

The little monster jogged up to the taller figure, a hardcover book in his arms. It’s pale pink hue had dulled and it’s pages and cover edges worn from years of either heavy use, or termite-attracting neglect. It was tough to say which. Regardless of it’s state, it was just as legible. The front cover read in bolded gold text: Puzzles and Contraptions: The Ins and Outs of Trickery.

*This was the book I was talking about earlier! I feel like it would be a good read for you!

Horrorrune sounds interesting, I'm interested in hearing some of your ideas for horrorune Ralsei

i’m so happy someone’s interested in my silly ideas!! Horrorrune is based more or less off my own take on horrortale, way back when!

Horrorrune Ralsei’s more goblin-like in appearance than original Ralsei. He’s also more skittish and flighty. This being due to his inferior stature in the Dark world, which is more bloodthirsty and vicious than the Light world. 

I would go into depth what Horrorrune entails but as it involves a lot of blood and guts it could be triggering for some!

Ralsei turned, this purple blur being a little more recognizable than the shape he saw earlier. He took a step, before tripping and falling on his face. If he wasn’t close to tears before he certainly was now. He rubbed his paw over his dusty muzzle.
