Hand drawn map of specified area of Newcastle CBD
By Annabel Sutton
This is the first map developed which will be given to the participants in a brochure format which they will use to navigate from Start to Finish. Some changes or a re draw may happen throughout the next stage of the project however this drawing is a good indication of the direction. It was discussed in the early stages that a hand drawn map would reflect the nature of our project.

Rough sketches of possible outcomes for destination point interactive activity (final piece.
LOCATION: Catapult dance studio carpark (TBC)
- Initial idea was to suspend cloth and have people mark using their hands their experience of their completed walk.
- Current idea is to allow people to walk across a cloth laid out on the ground. We thought this a more fitting process as it creates a more impactful statement and action relating directly to our concept.
We have thought over obtaining a projector to project the map onto the cloth, however this may prove difficult. Therefore we have though about painting a basic map onto the cloth which people would walk over.
