a couple of sukeban things

the kind of d/s hierarchy between ranks. the toughest girls in school walk down the corridor and all the underlings stand to attention with their backs to the wall, looking at the floor. this probably isn't a thing that happened in real life, as the whole "school entirely ruled by sukeban" thing seems like it can only exist in fiction. but you can see it a lot in the first two seasons of majisuka gakuen, and in the music video for the second season's op, yankii soul

sukeban enforcing uniform standards among other students. if you want to break the uniform rules, you've gotta be tough enough to get away with it, i guess? so you see sukeban threatening "normal" girls who have died their hair or are wearing their uniform in some non-compliant way that they better change it back by tomorrow or there'll be trouble. obviously, i have no idea if this ever happened in real life, but it does happen in the movie blow the night!! let's spend the night together, which was made with the involvement of real-life sukeban, so maybe?

another movie from this series, lynch law classroom, had a dvd release many years ago, but i'm pretty sure it's long since out of print. and it's great to see some more sukeban media getting an official english release!

In the movie Mashin Sentai Kiramager vs. Ryusoulger, the heroes are trapped in movies created by the Yodom to harness dark energy from those forced to act in them.  In one of these film Kiramager member Sayo is forced to star in a Delinquent Girl movie and fight against Ryusoulger member Asuna. They are both their respective team’s pink members making this a true Pinky Violence film. For those who might not know, Pinky Violence movies were a genre of film focusing on Delinquent Girl Gangs, Violent Schoolgirls, Female Prisoners and the like.  They were mostly produced in the 70s and early 80s and were mostly produced by Toei, which makes this reference extra fun! I’ve seen a few of the original Pinky Violence films like; Delinquent Girl Boss: Worthless to Confess, Terrifying Girls School: Lynch Law Classroom and Stray Cat Rock: Sex Hunter.  These films tend to be very over the top with horrendous violence, sexual situations and other hard exploitation elements.

hello, this blog doesn’t pdate much anymore, but it still gets new followers and notes everyday. that’s cool!

but i think in this day and age, there are a lot of people out there saying and doing evil things, pretending to do so in the name of women’s rights, even though they espouse the exact same politics regarding sex and gender as televangelists, nazis, and donald trump.
