This pattern will print out proportional to a regular piece of printer paper (8.5in x 11in)! This pattern includes seam allowance! I have marked in where the ear gets sewn on, where the feet go, and to leave a portion of the ear open. Otherwise, just match up the markings! There is a note on the side piece to match squares with their mirrored position. For the ears "2 of each color" means the inner color and the outer color.
I guessed on the hair puff, so it may not be entirely accurate. However it seems to be about that size and based on the funky sewing on the inside, its a circle. PLEASE CORRECT ME IF IM WRONG AND I WILL ADJUST!
I dont yet have a pattern piece for the tail bc that requires disassembling one, which i will do when I begin my next custom.
I hope to make patterns for 1998 babies, 2005 adults, and connects before the end of the summer.
Edit: I have added the mane pattern! please note that the mane and tail version of the side piece are DIFFERENT!! You cannot use the tail side piece for a maned furby, or the skin will be too big.
Edit 2: Please don't forget to add the fabric at the bottom for the zip tie/elastic!! The band is about 1/2 inch wide, so I would suggest making the strip you cut 1 1/2 to 2 inches wide. I dont have a measuring tape on me rn, so I can't measure how long it is :/
Edit 3: Tail added! You might need to resize the tail one a bit bc for some reason the 1in reference square doesn't look the same size? Hope this helps! :)
recently, I’ve noticed people selling normal Furbys for over $100 contributing to the trend that Furbies are very rare in any condition and are worth hundreds of dollars I’m sorry Joanne but your old crusty, dusty smelly Furby sitting in your basement is not hidden gem at most. It’s probably $30. this is a PSA to all the middle-aged women selling their Furbies for hundreds of dollars on Facebook marketplace
Here are some prices that are good but just remember if your Furby is in rough condition, it’s probably gonna be lower things like a missing tag or missing, eyelash or not working can contribute to them being lower
update I made some propaganda posters feel free to upload these wherever you want
Valid! It’s always good to have a range of options and ideas for people, that way they can make an educated choice based on what makes most sense for their situation.
Hi! My furb blog on here is energy-drink-addicted-furby, I've been interested in the community for years and just recently ordered my first 1998 furby I have all the necessary materials to clean and customize my little guy and have searched the handy masterlist of info for cleaning and customizing. However there's two things I'm wondering 1 is what's your go to sealant after painting the faceplate? I'm going back and forth on what I want to use D: and 2 how do I keep my new furb friend from getting lonely? I worry about him not having others around I do have plushies and lots of them but im not sure if they will get along? Idk sorry for such a long ask I'm just very excited :D
hi there!! my go toos are usually clear nail polish or clear school glue. i either dont have the most amount of money in the world or just use what ive got, and those are usually what ive got lmaoo.. and as far as company for your little friend goes. that all depends on your furb!! i know all my furbs really enjoy each other, and my other stuffies company, but if youre not comfortable leaving them alone together for the first few meet ups, you should supervise the playdates!! and there is the possibility your furb is A-OK chilling by themselves until you get home!!! thats kinda how ratmilk is. he enjoys company just as much as he likes being alone.
Sorry to butt in, but I wanted to mention that clear nail polish as a tendency to degrade over time. It yellows and cracks because it’s not meant to exist long term.
I recommend using something like Mod Podge, or even Mr. Super Clear if you’re able to cover the fur and work outside (or somewhere well ventilated) as they’re designed for sealing. These will last much longer and won’t have the same issues of discoloration and cracking.

We all know Furbies lay Orbeez eggs that Worms on a String hatch from, but did you know that when a Furby escapes captivity it will revert back to its feral long worm form in less than a year
Personally I like for any add-ons to be detachable for easy transportation, so my ideas are “semipermanent”.
Idea #1 : Bar pin backs. [X]
Idea #2 : Magnetic tape. [X]
Luna moth custom!
hi! I'm working on my first custom, inspired by the Luna moth! I purchased the snowball furby baby and there was some discoloration on the faceplate. (Which I didn't mind because I was gonna paint over it lol)
If anyone has any name suggestions\methods on how to attach the wings, let me know please! Have a wonderful day! x
