During my shifts at Westjet I met a lot of guests sometimes they are in a hurry, they are chilling because they came early prior tk their boarding time, sometimes they are grumpy, exited, and most of the time they are grateful because we are here to guide and to assist them. I am also happy that I helped them to their struggles especially the old peoples we all know that the technology give them a hard time to adopt and they are aware of that most of the guest that I enjoyed to help with is those seniors I enjoyed their company and their story. Yes while waiting to the kiosk to load we had a small talk and a chance for me to entertain them because I know that they are worried about the things that they need to do and where to go after they get their boarding passes.
I remember that there was a old lady who approached me to help her to find an assistant because she needed a wheelchair, so I guide her to the assistant agent and I didn't leave her until the agent came to us because she said that she's sad because her love ones passed away. I feel bad for here then the assistant agent came to us them she hold my hand and she say thank you and I felt that. The Thank you is realy from her bottom of her heart until now I will cherish those moments that I received thank you even though working at the airport is a bit exhausted those appreciation they made us more inspired and motivated.

July 30 2022
This is my last shift for July. And I have 6 more left shift before my Placement finish, so far I can handle every question or inquiries. I remember my first day I was so nervous and I don't know what to do, my anxiety hits me when I got home I always think about the questions that they asked If I answered it correctly 😅. But now I am better than my first day.
And it wasn't busy at the airport maybe because everything when well we don't have canceled or delayed flight that is why airport is calm. Even though the other airlines. I was so happy as well because I'm with my classmates and friends we helped each other everytime 💓 we're tired but alteast we are happy together ❤️.

This is my last shift before I go to vacation I'm so excited....
When I came to the airport it's a boy busy, well morning is kinda busy. So when I came to the kiosk I family came to me and asked for help so we went to the kiosk and I helped them they are so happy ti know that they don't need to take the long line and the kiosk will help them to get their boarding pass but at the end of the process kiosk told them to see Westjet agent. I saw to their faces that they a bit nervous and worry that they might missed their flight.
So I asked their reservation code and I went to the counter, I asked the westjet agent to helped me to get their boarding pass because they might be missed their flight. So the agent was helping me to get their boarding pass but he told me to not to do it again. He said if they have to take the line just send them to the line, because some of the people in the line have the same situation and it's unfair for them that I cut the line. And he said that they should have been in the airport 3hours before their flight. Well I understand that but I can't say no to the guest that asking me for help. Then finally I gave them their boarding pass and they are so grateful and happy that theybcan make it to the customs.

I woke up this morning early than usual so I can be at the airport as soon as possible, My original shift is 7:00 am then I came at the airport at 6:30, when I was entering go to the lounge area to time in I thought It's not busy everything is fine. But when I was walking go to the kiosk my area, I saw a long long long line It's starts in Swoop area all the way down to the WestJet counter😱. I was so shocked and I thought it was line up for the U.S customs.
Then I asked them why the line is so long and they told me that our system is down. Yes it was down around 5:00 am until 12:00nn, that's so longgggg. They fixed it by 12nn but the system is so slow and keep up and down. So what happened between 5am to 12nn is were trying to figure it out what should we do to access them because the fight is soon and most of them missed the flights, So what we did is those people have there boarding pass we can accommodate them to get there bag tag so they can check in their baggages and go to Security check-in.
So what we do it ask their boarding pass look for their Flight no., destination, seat no. and name, after we got all those information we need to find theire Lateral number for bag tag then get another bag tag write it manual all the information so they don't missed their baggages. For those guest that haven't have a boarding pass we advised then to stay in the line untill are system's up. The good thing is all of them are understanding, they know what we're going through I am so thankful that they didn't pressure us because we can't do anything because the system is down. But of course I'll understand their situation as well if they be grumpy.
I hope that I won't happen again because to day was so crazy for everyone who works at WestJet and for those people have the flight in WestJet.

July 11, 2022
The night before I wasn't feel better that is why I filled up the form to reschedule my shift, because I don't want to risk everyone's health because of me. So I changed it to July 12.
This morning I woke up better and positive. my husband dropped me to the airport and start my shift, I wasn't saw my name to the sheet so I just wrote it on😅. Today my shift went well because we only got once flight canceled and 2 delays, as far as I know, when I have free time I'll just shadowing to the other CSA and ask them a questions about waht they are doing and what should I do when I encounter a difficult situation in the future, and so on. Then while I standing there a saw a bunch of fire fighters and security walking towards to the conveyor and I heard that the conveyor smoked up for no reason 😱 so they have to down the conveyor and keep monitoring to the area. Good thing they fixed it already.
Then I left at the airport at 3:00pm and I got home by 7:00pm, unfortunately I took the wrong bus and I slept and when I woke up I realized that I'm the the other way I went to the Square One 😭 and I live in Markham.
Even though I don't consider this as a bad day I take it as a beautiful day and rewarding because I helped a lot of guest today even tho it's nit that busy as usual.

Progress Check
June 20th 2022
Today is the day of our progress check and I am so nervous. Our Professor told as that there is nothing to he nervous about. So they were asked me about my experience in Westjet then I explain it then they ask if I have lates or absent good thing I haven't yet so far. And I think it went well even tho I'm super nervous😅.
And I met a guest she is frech and I told her that we have french class as well about the emergency procedure and she asked me to give her some example of our drill and I tell her, she's so nice and of course I helped her to check in her luggage and to get her boarding pass. And there's another guest that lives in U.S I give her a hand and I think she really appreciated my help and she's trying to paying me back literally hahaha she's trying to giving me a $30 and I refuse to get it then she asked me to give me a hug instead, it was so rewarding for me that guests are appreciating our hard work.
It was a great day and I enjoy that day. I hope that my progress check went well. 🙏

Thunderstorm 🌩
It was a busy morning when I came to the airport, the weather is perfect and people are good mood everthing went well.
I assist a lot of guest and they are happy because I helped them to make their check in quickly than to take the line because most of the time the line for check in is long. However here we go the KIOSK and the
ADOC help the guest to make it the check in convenient for them. But sometimes the kiosk asked them to see the westjet agent and for me it's a bit frustrating because I can't do anything than to assist then and ask them to join to the line because I don't have any access to fix the issue for them. Yes, some guest are upset because they think that they're wasting their time to the kiosk. But I need to explain to them my situation and most of them understand and some of them are not. Well that's life 😅.
I thought that day will be a easy day for us but when the thunderstorms pass by the sky turned dark and the people came in soaked and the most chaotic part is all the system are down. So far that was the hardest situation that happen to me. Because I was shocked that most of the people that I helped and I thought they're finish all the process and all they need to do is to go to security check in. But, I saw them joining at the line and they are mad. And I couldn't help them because I already did what I can do.
I hope soon to have an access so I can help them.😔

Just finish my shift today, It was strange because it's not that crazy at the airport everything went well. I am so happy because I made a lot of friends at WestJet most of them are in their Placement as well. And some of them are WestJet employee they gave me an advice to how to handle every situation and inspired me to much pursue my dreams ❤.

Second day at the airport and Yes it's the same week of our Training day (May 10, 2020). I actually so nervous and I don't know what to do because I don't know anyone 😅. But good thing I conquered it and I enjoyed every moment. It was awarding actually to help those guest to solve their problems and assist them to use the Kiosk. I remember there was one passenger who couldn't speak English he's actually French and Good thing he can understand english. So what I did is to changed the Language in the Kiosk and ask him non-verbal using my body language. It went well and It's a great experience.

May 9, 2021 this is the day of my first day. I'm so excited to go at the airport, I woke up early even though our training time is 2:00pm. And I was with my friend/Classmate her name is Serafu. We get at the airport around 11:00 am and we just set at the 1st floor while playing the quiz about the Canada Airport Codes. And to make it short 😅. Our training starts at 2:00 pm Matt was the one who trained us and he pick us up at the Starbucks. Of course we introduced ourselves that time I had mixed emotions like excitement plus nervous 🤣. Then Matt toured as at the Airport and it was a long walk and a lot of learnings, it was so fun actually ☺️. After we do the tour he introduced us to our best friend her name is "KIOSK"😅 and we helped the passenger to get their Bag tags,boarding pass, chamge their seat etc...
