I wholeheartedly believe that Baxter hates Bobby Dawn. Has ever since the moment they met. A real "trust the animals" situation. Sandra Lynn hadn't been Baxter's handler for long enough to fully understand why he hated Bobby so much, so she disregarded it, trying her best not to let them interact too much. When Bobby kicked her to the curb, she finally realised why Baxter hated him so much, and now relies on Baxter's input whenever she meets somebody new. (Baxter LOVES Jawbone. Absolutely dotes on him. Is almost as excited to see him as he is to see Sandra Lynn herself)

kipperlily and lucy were best friends. kipperlily didn’t want to change the name of the party. kipperlily was angry before she died and was brought back in the name of ankarna.

i think either all of the rat grinders other than lucy died in the mountains of chaos and came back under ankarna, OR only kipperlily did and she killed the others one by one to be brought back. mastermind rogue.

i think lucy was the last one left. kipperlily didn’t want to kill her, couldn’t bring herself to kill her. cause of death was multiple assailants, not one neat laceration of your rogue slitting your throat. but everyone else was ankarna’s already, and none of them loved lucy the way kipperlily did.

i think kipperlily submitted the change of god paperwork for lucy. i think she forged it so lucy wouldn’t have to worry when she came back, and i think kipperlily knew that the others were going to kill her but couldn’t bring herself to be a part of it.

i think she waited by lucy’s side, after, for her to come back. i think she worried about how long it was taking.

i think she watched a glowing red rune take shape on lucy’s bleeding chest, glowing over blue skin stained red, and i think she cried.

and then i think she stood up, helped hide lucy’s body, and went to forge a form retracting the change of god.

Also, it's truly terrifying that Brennan let Siobhan have Simulacrum, a spell that gives you nearly an entire-ass new party member, because that must mean he thinks his next planned encounter is tough enough to account for a second Kristen.

(Of course, he may have drawn the line at the Smartass Simulacrum Loophole, in which Adaine would get around the one-simulacrum limit by duping herself, having the dupe cast Simulacrum, rinse and repeat.)

Lydia said that her party had a sorcerer on it that had died during the fight with Bakur, and Brennan said this fight happened while Ragh was in middle school so in the last 6-8 years (since Ragh was a super-senior in FHJR). Wouldn't it be funny if Jace was that sorcerer the whole time, brought back by Ankarna and using disguise self and devil's nectar to be someone else. That whatever Bakur did to try to bring back his dead deity worked in some small way, taking a friend of Lydia's and twisting him into someone with a rage that burns just as hot as hers. That would be a pretty funny turn of events right guys

genuinely it's so sweet that Fabian is like. obviously never going to be buddies with Gertie or enjoy her company but he went out of his way to resolve her vow of enmity with him so that she could be a viable romantic partner for Kristen. he even dropped some gift ideas for Kristen on the way out because he's attentive and knows what she likes and wants her to be treated well! he gains NOTHING from making up Gertie other thank knowing she might be a source of happiness for Kristen.

I'm also thinking about Fig and Kristen immediately welcoming Aelwyn back and making space for her cats in the house and trying to razz her in a way she enjoys, just because that's Adaine's sister and Adaine wants to have her around and be closer to her. the Bad Kids just support each other so much and so unthinkingly, it's second nature to them to want to see each other as happy as possible. and it's such an interesting in contrast with the Rat Grinders having these weird little squabbles where Ruben will do something just to upset Kipperlily and no one even knows what Maryanne is thinking and Oisin and Ivy are obviously closer than anyone else in the group.

Everyone is making post about how "Sandra-Lynn is soooo messy" after the news about her and Bobby Dawn came out but, guys, he should NOT count. Yes, in general, Sandra-Lynn is messy but Bobby Dawn is a man who has a grandson the age of her daughter. It is quite clear that she was groomed and/or taken advantage of.

Fabian is the sweetest boy ever. He's gone to Gertie to hash it out so that she and Kristen can pursue whatever they have going on comfortably.

Fabian holds such a special place in my heart for being a fictional black boy that's just really sweet and flamboyant and kind of weird. He feels like a portrayal of parts of the black experience that you don't really get to see depicted in media much. I love him.

idk why but that little interaction with Bill and Pok killed me. In sophomore year Riz talking to Bill and him saying he would love to meet his dad and talk about what good friends they are? Bill knowing Riz on a first/last name basis even though Fabian only referred to him as The Ball while he was alive? Pok never actually meeting/talking to Fabian unlike the other bad kids but only knowing about him through (maximum) legend. The first thing Riz talks about when Pok asks about his life being the gifts Fabian got him. Pok commenting on the calligraphy. Him and Bill talking about their boys. They way they’re both dead and on completely different planes and out of their son’s lives but still know the bond they have. Also IN SOPHMORE YEAR when they’re in hell both of them reconnecting with their dead dads for the first time. And immediately talking about each other. Across the world in heaven and hell. Of course their parents would be like oh clearly this is special. also in a non tender way them just having monthly conversations is so fucking funny I’m obsessed with that scene. the weird ass gukgak/seacaster bond is hereditary.
